Make your own game

Theme Guess was built by Leannie Martinez with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Theme Guess opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Theme Guess

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate a mobile-friendly web quiz game titled “Theme Guess.” Use a single centered, responsive glassmorphism panel over a dark navy background with a blue radial glow at the top. Behind the panel, render 18 softly blurred, semi-transparent colored bubbles (orange, pink, cyan, yellow, and green) of varied sizes floating upward continuously. The panel should have rounded corners, a subtle translucent white border, backdrop blur, and a soft shadow.

The game has three screens, showing only one at a time. Start screen: display the large title “Theme Guess,” subtitle “A fast multiple-choice quiz inspired by Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and Cartoon Network show themes,” pill badges for “30 questions,” “3 channels,” and “Mobile friendly,” and a clear note that real copyrighted songs cannot be used, so the game uses show-theme clues, channel vibes, and memory prompts instead of audio. Include a full-width orange gradient “Start Quiz” button. Tapping/clicking it starts a fresh round.

Quiz screen: show a wrapping HUD of pill-shaped boxes reading “Score: 0,” “Streak: 0,” and the current category in the format “Channel: Nickelodeon,” “Channel: Nick Jr.,” or “Channel: Cartoon Network.” Below it, show a rounded progress track with a pink-to-yellow progress fill. Then show a translucent rounded quiz card with a cyan uppercase label such as “QUESTION 1 OF 30,” a large question, a muted clue paragraph, four answer buttons, and a feedback line. On desktop widths the four choices are arranged in a 2-by-2 grid; on narrow/mobile widths they stack vertically. Answer choices are large, left-aligned rounded dark translucent buttons with white bold text.

Include a fixed bank of 30 multiple-choice questions about recognizable show themes from Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., and Cartoon Network. Each question has a channel, prompt, clue, exactly four options, and one correct answer. Use these question subjects and correct answers: SpongeBob SquarePants; Blue’s Clues; Dexter’s Laboratory; Danny Phantom; Dora the Explorer; Ben 10; The Fairly OddParents; Bubble Guppies; Teen Titans; The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air; The Backyardigans; The Powerpuff Girls; Rugrats; PAW Patrol; Adventure Time; Danny Phantom again; Team Umizoomi; The Amazing World of Gumball; Jimmy Neutron; Wonder Pets!; Regular Show; Drake & Josh; Blue’s Clues again; We Bare Bears; The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron; Go, Diego, Go!; Steven Universe; Big Time Rush; Shimmer and Shine; and Gravity Falls. The prompts should describe theme-opening clues without playing or reproducing copyrighted audio, and the clues should provide hints such as characters, settings, premise, or remembered intro imagery. Shuffle the question order at the start of each round and independently shuffle each question’s four options.

When the player taps an answer, prevent additional answers, immediately mark the correct choice green, mark a wrong selected choice red, dim the other incorrect choices, and disable all four buttons. For a correct response, increment score and streak, update best streak, and show green “Correct!” feedback. For an incorrect response, reset streak to zero and show red feedback in the format “Not quite — the answer was [correct answer].” After about 1.1 seconds, advance automatically to the next question. Score is one point per correct answer. The progress bar reflects the current question index across all 30 questions, and reaches 100% on the results screen.

After all 30 questions, show a results screen titled “Round Complete,” supporting text explaining that the player completed the kid-TV theme challenge, a large yellow score in the format “X / 30,” a performance message based on score, and “Best streak: X.” Use these messages: perfect score: “Perfect score — you know your cartoon themes cold.”; 10 or more: “Deep cut memory unlocked. You clearly grew up on these intros.”; 7 or more: “Nice work — you know the big themes and a few tricky ones too.”; 4 or more: “You’ve got some of them. One more round and your score jumps fast.”; otherwise: “Warm-up round complete — hit play again and chase a streak.” Include an orange “Play Again” button that resets score, streak, and question order and begins a new shuffled round. Use touch/click interaction, including pointer-friendly buttons, and ensure the layout works on phones and larger screens. Use bold Arial-like sans-serif typography, white primary text, muted light-gray secondary text, cyan question labels, yellow result score, orange action buttons, green correct feedback, and red incorrect feedback. Do not add audio, timers, lives, power-ups, or gameplay elements beyond this clue-based quiz.
