Cinevva respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This policy outlines our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on Cinevva infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice containing the following information:
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, provide a representative list.
Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it on our Service (e.g., URLs or descriptions).
Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local federal court (or any judicial district where Cinevva is located if you are outside the United States).
A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Process
Upon Receiving a Valid DMCA Notice
- We will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- We will notify the user who posted the content.
- We will provide a copy of the DMCA notice to the user.
Upon Receiving a Valid Counter-Notification
- We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant.
- We will inform them that we will restore the content in 10-14 business days unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action.
- If no court action is filed, we will restore the content.
Repeat Infringers
Cinevva will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We maintain records of DMCA notices and counter-notifications.
Misrepresentation
Under the DMCA, you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorney fees) if you materially misrepresent that material or activity is infringing. Please consider seeking legal advice before submitting a notice.
Content Creators
If you're a game creator on Cinevva:
- You represent that you own or have the right to distribute all content you submit.
- You are responsible for ensuring your games do not infringe third-party rights.
- You must have proper licenses for any third-party assets (music, art, fonts, etc.).
Good Faith
We handle all copyright claims in good faith. We strive to:
- Process notices promptly
- Provide fair opportunity for counter-notification
- Restore legitimate content when appropriate
- Work with both copyright holders and creators
