Make your own game

Mythoria Fusion was built by ΤΗΣ_DΔΓΚ_ΔΓCΗΠΙD with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Mythoria Fusion opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Mythoria Fusion

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate “Mythoria Fusion” as a playable 2D pixel-art, top-down monster-catching RPG slice for desktop and mobile. Use a full-screen pixelated canvas with crisp, low-resolution-looking rendering and a fixed HUD layered over the world. The camera should follow the player from above, showing a large tile-based overworld made of green field tiles with subtle grid lines, darker tall-grass zones, tan paths, dense dark-green tree boundaries/forest patches, and a vertical blue river along the eastern side. Include a small village/route map with four simple labeled buildings: a red-roofed HOME in the west/central area, a blue-roofed light-blue FUSION LAB near the middle/north, a yellow-roofed GYM toward the northeast, and a green-roofed SHOP toward the south. Buildings are rectangular pixel-art structures with visible dark doors and tiny labels. Place simple blocky NPCs around the map, including Professor Luma near the lab, a Village Kid, and a dark Team Eclipse Scout; approaching an NPC and pressing the action button displays their dialogue in a toast.

The player is a small pixel-art adventurer viewed from above/behind, moving freely through non-blocked field, path, grass, and door tiles while trees and buildings act as collision. The player has a small colored companion creature following/appearing beside them. Support WASD and arrow-key movement plus a large on-screen four-direction D-pad for touch/mobile. Support Space, Enter, or the large circular red “A” button for interaction. The A/action interaction should talk to nearby NPCs, enter the lab/gym/shop doors, and capture during battle. Keep the mobile controls visible near the bottom: a dark square arrow D-pad on the lower left and a red circular A button on the lower right.

Implement this exact progression and loop: start with a party containing one level-3 Sprigbit, a green Leaf Mythling with moves Vine Tap and Seed Pop, and inventory of 5 capture cores, 2 Fusion Essence, and 1 herb. The initial quest reads “Quest: Visit the Fusion Lab, then explore tall grass.” Visiting the blue lab marks the lab visited and updates the quest to catch one more Mythling. Walking through tall grass accumulates encounter progress and can randomly start a wild encounter. Wild encounters randomly use one of four species: Sprigbit (Leaf), Emberoo (Flare), Aquaffin (Tide), or Voltwing (Storm), each with distinct base colors, stats, levels, and two named moves. Wild creatures appear in a simple turn-based battle interface.

During battles, show a cream-colored battle panel with a “Fusion Battle” heading, player and enemy names, types, levels, green/red HP bars, battle log, and buttons for the player’s first move, second move, Fusion Burst, Capture Core (with current count), and Run. Attacks deal stat-based randomized damage, then the enemy attacks back. Capture Core works only on wild Mythlings, consumes one core, and has a better chance when enemy HP is low; a successful capture adds the enemy to the party, while failure allows the enemy to attack. Running ends a wild battle. Defeating a wild Mythling increases the active creature’s level, max HP, and attack and restores its HP. If the active creature is defeated, leave it at 1 HP and retreat the player to the village/home area.

Once the party has at least two Mythlings, return to the Fusion Lab. Provide a lab menu explaining that Professor Luma’s Fusion Core merges two captured Mythlings. Include buttons to “Fuse first two,” “Heal party,” and “Back outside.” Fusing consumes one Fusion Essence and replaces the first two party members with one original fused creature: blend the first half of one name with the second half of the other, combine their types as “Type/Type,” average their colors, blend their stats, keep the first move of each parent, and add “Fusion Burst.” The fused Mythling has a fused indicator/state and can use Fusion Burst. After fusion, update the quest to challenge the Fusion Gym in the northeast.

Fusion Burst should only work for fused Mythlings. It temporarily boosts the next attack, consumes/reset the burst state appropriately, and show a battle-log message that the creature glows with Fusion Essence. Visit the Gym door after creating a fusion to trigger a gym battle against Gym Leader Nyx’s unstable fusion, named “Eclipse Drake,” using Flare and Storm-derived traits. Defeating it awards one Eclipse Badge and 3 Fusion Essence, ends the battle, and updates the quest to “Team Eclipse fled east. More routes are ready to build next.” Do not allow entry before fusion; instead show a message that the player needs a fused Mythling and the lab is west. The shop interaction gives 2 capture cores and 1 herb for testing. The lab can fully heal the party.

Add a persistent-looking HUD styled like a retro handheld RPG: a dark translucent top bar with white border and shadow, title “MYTHORIA FUSION” on the left, day and period in the center (such as “Day 1 · Night”), and current weather (“Clear”) on the right. Under it, show a cream quest banner with dark border. On the right side show stacked dark party cards listing each Mythling’s name, type, level, and HP/max HP. Use toast messages for welcome text, NPC dialogue, weather changes, captures, fusion, healing, and battle results. The opening message should be “Welcome to Mythoria. Visit the blue Fusion Lab to receive your quest.”

Implement a changing clock with day periods Night, Morning, Day, and Dusk, and cycle weather among Clear, Rain, Wind, and Essence Fog. Night applies a dark blue screen tint, Dusk a lighter tint, Rain draws diagonal blue rain streaks over the world, and Essence Fog applies a translucent purple overlay; weather state should also affect battle behavior so Essence Fog gives a fused player creature a small attack bonus. Keep Wind as a selectable weather state even if it has no special drawn overlay. Use a simple pixel-art palette: leafy greens and dark forest greens for the map, tan paths, blue water, cream menus, navy outlines, white borders, and red action button. Avoid copyrighted creature names, sprites, or data; the original Mythling species and fusion system are the defining content.
