How do I turn an image into a 3D model?
Upload a photo or paste an image URL, pick Rapid or Pro, and the generator reconstructs a textured polygon mesh. Front-facing shots of a single, well-lit subject on a simple background give the most accurate results. When it's done you can download the model as GLB or OBJ.
Can I generate a 3D model from text?
Yes. Switch to the text tab and describe what you want. The generator creates a reference image from your prompt, then turns that into a 3D model, so you can go from an idea to a mesh without supplying a photo.
What format does the 3D model export to?
It exports a polygon mesh as GLB or OBJ, with optional PBR textures. Both drop straight into Blender, Unity, Godot, Three.js, and other engines. To add a skeleton and animations, send the model to the Auto Rigger.
Is the 3D model generator free?
Yes. You can generate a model in the browser and download it. Sign in to save the models you create.
