Make your own game

Table War was built by Parker Pinsoneault with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Table War opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Table War

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a top-down 2D digital card game implementation of the classic War card game called "Table War" with the following specifications:

**Perspective & Camera:** Fixed overhead 2D view showing a felt green poker table with a brown border frame and dashed white border inset.

**Visual Style:** Clean, flat card game aesthetic with a radial gradient green felt background (darker forest green to lighter sea green). Playing cards are cream-colored rectangles with white borders, rounded corners, featuring traditional suit symbols (♠♥♦♣) and rank values (2-A). Face-down cards show a blue gradient back with a white circular dot pattern in the center. The table has a subtle radial gradient highlight at center and diagonal repeating line pattern for texture.

**Layout:** The screen is divided into three horizontal zones on the table: top zone for computer's cards, middle zone for controls and pile display, bottom zone for player's cards. Above the table are three score panels showing "Computer Deck" count, "Central Pile" count, and "Your Deck" count in dark translucent boxes with white text. Top-left displays large "Table War" title with subtitle "Flip cards. Higher rank takes the pile. Ties go to war." Top-right shows a white "Restart" button.

**Card Display:** Each zone (computer/player) shows two card positions side by side: a deck stack visual on the left (blue card back with white circle symbol, rotated -4 degrees, with layered shadow effect) and a revealed card slot on the right. Revealed cards show rank and suit in corners (top-left and bottom-right inverted), and a large central suit symbol. Red suits (♥♦) display in red text, black suits (♠♣) in black text.

**Game Mechanics:** Player clicks the large yellow "Deal / Flip Next Card" button to flip the top card from both decks simultaneously. Cards animate in with a 3D flip rotation. The game compares card values (2=2 through A=14). Higher value wins both cards, which go to the winner's deck bottom. A text box above the button displays round results (e.g., "You win round 3: 7♠ vs 4♥. 2 cards collected.").

**War Resolution:** When cards tie in value, both cards shake with a vibration animation, message displays "War! Each side burns up to 3 cards, then flips one battle card." Each side automatically places up to 3 cards face-down to the pile, then draws one more card face-up for battle. Higher battle card wins the entire pile. If battle cards also tie, the war continues recursively until there's a winner.

**Win Condition:** Game ends when one player runs out of cards. Message displays final score (e.g., "You win the game! Final count: 35 to 17").

**On-Screen HUD:**
- Three score panels at top showing deck counts (start at 26-0-26)
- Player/Computer lane headers showing owner name and card count status in yellow text
- Central result text box (dark translucent, white text) showing game state messages
- Central pile visualization with three overlapping mini-cards (blue back, red card, black card) that fade when pile is empty
- Bottom rules text: "War rule: On a tie, each side places up to three cards face down, then one card face up. Higher face-up card wins the whole pile."

**Animations:**
- Cards flip in with 3D rotation and scale when dealt
- Winning card pulses and lifts slightly with scale animation
- War ties trigger horizontal shake/wobble on both cards
- Deck stacks fade to low opacity when empty
- All cards have drop shadows

**Controls:** Click/tap the yellow "Deal / Flip Next Card" button to progress. Click white "Restart" button to reset game. Keyboard: Space or Enter to deal, R to restart.

**Color Palette:** Forest green felt (#146447), darker green (#0c3f2d), lighter green (#1d7b58), cream card faces (#fff8e8), gold buttons (#f4c95d), blue card backs (gradient #214fd1 to #122b7a), white borders and highlights, red suits (#d83c3c), black suits (#18211f).

The game uses a standard 52-card deck shuffled and split evenly (26 cards each) at start. All cards have proper suit/rank combinations. The entire interface is contained within a rounded rectangular green felt table with brown wood-grain border.
