Make your own game

Squish Studio was built by line with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Squish Studio opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate a responsive casual tapping/fidget game titled “Squish Studio.” Build it as a single-screen web game with a soft, pastel, rounded UI. The page uses a pale pink-to-lavender diagonal gradient background, a centered responsive app column capped at about 900px wide, and a header with a bubbly square logo showing 🫧, the title “Squish Studio,” subtitle “tap, press, relax,” and a pill reading “Squeezes: [score].” Below it is a large rounded-rectangle play stage with a white/pink/lavender radial background, subtle inset border and soft shadow. At the top center of the stage show a translucent pill hint initially reading “Tap the squishy ✨.”

The main mechanic is tapping/clicking/pressing the currently selected toy in the central stage. Taps only count when they land within roughly 1.18 times the toy’s radius/visible bounds; each valid tap increments the persistent Squeezes score, updates the header, briefly animates the toy being compressed, emits around ten small colored particles that burst outward and fade, and plays a short soft percussive/sine sound when sound is enabled. The score is stored in localStorage so it persists between visits. Display the toy label beneath the central object: normal blobs say “tap me,” the pop-it says “pop the bubbles,” and the spinner says “tap to spin.”

Include a horizontally scrollable collection row below the stage, with rounded cards showing each toy’s gradient swatch, emoji/icon, name, and locked-state requirement. The selected card has a pink border and white highlighted background. Locked cards are dimmed/desaturated, show a lock icon, and display “🔒 N squeezes.” Tapping a locked card does not select it; instead show a hint such as “Squeeze X more times to unlock.” Selecting an unlocked card changes the stage toy and resets its special interaction state. The collection contains exactly these toys and unlock thresholds: Peach Puff 🍑 (blob, 0), Cloud Puff ☁️ (blob, 0), Lemon Blob 🍋 (blob, 0), Berry Jam 🫐 (blob, 0), Matcha Mochi 🍵 (blob, 0), Rainbow Pop-It 🟣 (popit, 10), Fidget Spinner 🌀 (spinner, 25), Stress Ball 🟢 (blob, 40), and Clicky Cube 🎲 (blob, 60). Start with Peach Puff selected. A toy becomes available when the score is at least its threshold; when newly reached, briefly show “Unlocked: [toy name]! ✨,” then return to “Tap the toy ✨.”

Render normal blob toys as glossy, squishy, slightly irregular rounded blobs centered in the stage. Use each toy’s exact color palette: Peach Puff #ffc09e to #ff8fa9 with accent #ff7d9f; Cloud Puff #dfe5ff to #a9b7ff with accent #8c9cff; Lemon Blob #fff5a6 to #ffd95f with accent #ffc62e; Berry Jam #d8b3ff to #a67bdb with accent #8a58c7; Matcha Mochi #d9f6bf to #96d681 with accent #6fb85b; Stress Ball #baf6c8 to #58d79a with accent #39b979; Clicky Cube #ffd7a8 to #ff9b76 with accent #f27b59. Give blobs a radial glossy gradient, colored soft shadow/glow, a white oval highlight in the upper-left, their emoji centered, and a very subtle idle wobble/rotation. On a valid tap, visibly scale the blob wider and shorter as though squeezed, then ease back.

For Rainbow Pop-It, show a large rounded rectangular pink-to-lavender toy with 15 circular bubbles arranged in 3 columns by 5 rows. Unpressed bubbles are pale/white translucent circles with light outlines; tapping near a bubble toggles that individual bubble, and toggled bubbles become purple/darker. The toy has a slight idle rotation and soft glow. For Fidget Spinner, show a three-lobed spinner rotating around a center: three elongated oval lobes use the #a8eaff-to-#6e8cff gradient, with glossy white highlights, an accent-blue center, and a soft glow. Tapping on the left or right adds angular velocity in the corresponding direction; the spinner gradually slows via friction and keeps rotating after taps. Use the spinner emoji only in the collection card, not as a required center label.

Below the collection, add two large rounded controls: “🔊 Sound on” / “🔇 Sound off” toggles audio, and “↺ Reset squeezes” resets score to 0, stores 0, selects Peach Puff, rerenders locks, and shows “Squeeze to unlock more toys ✨.” Audio can use Tone.js or an equivalent short membrane/percussive note plus a quiet sine pop, initialized after user interaction. At the bottom show the helper text “Swipe sideways to browse your collection · squeeze more to unlock toys.” Make the layout touch-friendly, prevent page scrolling during play, support pointer/touch and mouse input, and adapt the stage and toy size to viewport dimensions. Use a polished friendly “ui-rounded”/system rounded sans-serif style, translucent white controls, heavy soft shadows, large corner radii, and no combat, timer, lives, or other gameplay systems.
