Mushroom Growing Clicker
Click the game above and it runs right here in your browser. No download, no installer, no account needed. Electric Body built it with Cinevva, so it works on a phone or a tablet too.
Nobody has said anything about Tub Bloom yet. Play it, then tell Electric Body what you would add next.
Tub Bloom was built by Electric Body with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Tub Bloom opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a 3D mushroom growing clicker game viewed from an isometric overhead camera angle. The scene shows a dark olive-green grow room with fog atmosphere. Center stage is a transparent rectangular glass tub (pale blue-tinted) with a brown substrate block inside, sitting on a round wooden table.
**Core Mechanic**: Click or tap the transparent tub to add growth points. The tub progresses through 5 visible stages: Empty tub → Mycelium filled tub (white mat appears) → Tiny pins (small round bumps) → Full mushrooms (16-18 procedural mushrooms) → Ready to harvest. Each stage requires cumulative growth thresholds (8, 18, 32, 48, 60 points). When full, press Harvest button (or H key) to collect the batch into a shelf jar.
**Sweet Spot System**: A glowing yellow ring appears on the substrate surface at a random position. Clicking inside this sweet spot builds a combo multiplier (up to x4.5), moves the spot to a new location, and adds a harvest bonus for that batch. Hitting center of ring gives extra multiplier. Missing the spot resets combo to 1. A horizontal combo meter below the top UI shows sweet spot combo progress.
**Mushroom Appearance**: Each batch has a seeded family of 6 shape styles: roundcaps (half-sphere), wizard cones (pointed), pancake caps (flat cylinders), button clusters (multiple small orbs), donut halos (torus rings), umbrella/noodle patches (wide flat with skirt). All have pale whitish stems and gills directly under caps. Mushrooms rotate through 8 color strains with mystic names (Crimson Uncle Grumblecap, Golden Oracle Pancake, Amethyst Moon Noodle, Void Biscuit of Tuesday, etc.) - each strain recolors caps and adds subtle emissive glow. Strains cycle automatically after each harvest, creating variety.
**Shelf Gallery**: On the left side is a circular rotating wooden shelf with gold spindle and two gold carousel rails (one lower, one upper). Harvested mushrooms are preserved in transparent glass jars with gold lids, each containing a tiny colored mushroom inside. Jars arrange in a double-ring carousel pattern around the shelf. The shelf slowly rotates continuously. Selected jar has a golden ring halo beneath it.
**Trait System**: Each harvested jar receives exactly 3 random traits from a pool of 9: Luminous, Flat-Capped, Spindly, Chubby, Ringed, Moonlit, Sweet-Scented, Shadow-Touched, Trickster. Traits are assigned based on batch shape style and strain name keywords.
**Shadow Buyer System**: Periodically a low-poly black shadow figure appears at the back edge of the room. It's a cone-shaped cloak body with dodecahedron head, glowing yellow eyes, and a dark torus aura ring at base. The buyer panel shows the buyer's name (e.g. "Low-Poly Umbra", "No-Face Forager") and 2-4 cryptic hint texts describing desired traits ("gives off a faint glow", "has broad pancake-like caps"). The player sells their best matching jar from the shelf. Perfect trait matches pay 4x gold, partial matches pay 1.25-2.5x, poor matches pay 0.55x base offer. Buyers pay GOLD (not mushrooms) - gold is the currency for buying upgrades. After sale or timeout, buyer drifts away.
**Sanity & Cure System**: A horizontal bar below the mushroom counter shows Sanity % (gradient from cyan/green at high, yellow/purple mid, red/black at low). Sanity slowly drains from poison. The UI shows "cure: [trait] + [trait] + [trait]" - a hidden combination of 3 specific traits. When you harvest a jar that has all 3 cure traits, the cure is found and poison stops. Low sanity spawns tiny black dodecahedron critters with yellow eyes that orbit the tub, reduce growth rate, and periodically steal shelf mushrooms. Press "Stall Poison" button to brew shelf mushrooms into antidote draft, restoring sanity.
**Visible Upgrades** (appear as 3D props when purchased):
- More Spores: A flat transparent syringe with green glowing serum, plunger, needle, and droplet. Lies on table edge. Increases click growth.
- Mister Timer: A blue transparent spray bottle with water chamber, nozzle, trigger, and floating mist droplets. Adds passive auto-growth per second.
- Blessed Substrate: Substrate gains a subtle green glowing overlay plane. Increases harvest yield by 25% per level.
- Moon Lamp: Ornate gold lamp pole with crescent moon bulb (cut sphere with darker cutout), chain, shade ring, tiny craters, and hanging star decorations on threads. Adds a warm point light. Boosts auto-growth by 50% per level.
- Jar Alchemy: Purple rune ring appears around shelf with 8 floating runic glyphs (ᚠ, ᚱ, ᚦ, etc.). Each collected jar adds 1.5% harvest multiplier.
- Good Omen: Orange hanging charm with gold ring and crystal cone drop. New tubs start partially grown after harvest.
**HUD Layout**:
Top-left box: "MUSHROOMS" header with large number showing shelf jar inventory, and below: "Empty tub · 0% · [Strain name]"
Below that: Horizontal progress bar showing growth percentage
Below that: Sweet combo panel showing batch style name, combo count, last multiplier, and harvest bonus percentage
Below that: Sanity bar with text "Sanity X% · cure: [traits] · critters X"
Below that: Stats line "Shelf X · Gold X · Click +X · Auto X/sec · Jars X"
Top-right: Instructions tooltip with transparent dark background explaining to click tub, grow through 5 stages, harvest at full.
Bottom-left: "Harvest" button (gray, needs full mushrooms). Below Gallery button to zoom camera to shelf.
Bottom center: Three upgrade buttons in row: "More Spores", "Mister Timer", "Mister Timer", styled as tan/beige rounded rectangles with cost and effect shown.
Bottom-right: Three more upgrade buttons: "Blessed Substrate", "Moon Lamp", "Jar Alchemy"
When Gallery opens, camera smoothly zooms and focuses on the rotating shelf. Gallery panel slides in from left showing list of all jars with names, harvest number, strain description, traits, and mushroom count. Click jars in 3D to select them. Selected jar can be renamed with text input. Close Gallery button returns camera to tub overhead view.
Buyer panel slides in from right when buyer arrives, showing buyer name, bulleted hint list, best match offer calculation, and "Sell to Buyer" button.
**Controls**: Click/tap tub to grow (with sweet spot targeting). Space or C key grows once (no rapid repeat). H to harvest. G to open/close Gallery. Click upgrade buttons to purchase with gold.
**Art Style**: Low-poly 3D with soft shadows. Dark moody grow room with fog. Transparent materials for glass/tub. Warm golden lighting from top-right. Emissive glows on mushroom caps, substrate, and upgrade props. Procedurally generated mushroom geometry with varied stem curves and cap shapes. All mushrooms cast shadows. Circular wooden shelf with brass/gold metal accents. Clean minimal UI with rounded borders and semi-transparent dark panels.
