Pumpkin House was built by henry.hibbsu3 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Pumpkin House opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a single-screen browser survival horror game titled “Midnight at Pumpkin House” (also presented as Pumpkin House), rendered in a responsive full-viewport 2D HTML canvas with a dark, stylized hand-drawn/vector look. The player is stationary in a night-shift office, viewed straight-on from the front. The scene uses a nearly black, purple-brown palette: a gradient wall and dark floor with diagonal plank lines, a central office wall panel, a two-pane window showing a large pale yellow full moon, a simple brown desk with a small monitor/object, and tall dark doors/openings on the far left and right. When an approaching enemy is close and its door is open, show glowing eyes in that doorway. Keep the interface readable on desktop and mobile. The objective is to survive from 12 AM until 6 AM. A night lasts 108 seconds, with the HUD clock advancing one hour every 18 seconds: 12 AM, 1 AM through 6 AM. Display a top header reading “MIDNIGHT AT PUMPKIN HOUSE,” plus pill-shaped status indicators for TIME, POWER, and CAM. Start with 100% power. Power drains continuously at 0.7 per second, with additional drain while the camera monitor is open (1.15 per second) and while either door is closed (0.55 per second per closed door). When power reaches zero, force both doors open and show a brief “POWER OUT” message. If the player lasts to 108 seconds, stop the game and show a dark overlay with the gold title “6 AM” and the message “You made it through the night.” There are two advancing enemies, each associated with one side and moving toward the office. Marlow is an orange pumpkin-headed child on the left, initially at position 0.18, advancing at rate 0.0082; Pumpkin Pete is a pale/white ghost or skeleton-like child on the right, initially at 0.12, advancing at rate 0.0068. Their movement accelerates slightly as the night progresses using a factor of (1 + elapsed/90). If the corresponding door is closed, the enemy retreats at 0.025 per second, but never below 0.1. Briefly illuminating the halls gives the enemies a movement bonus: while lights are active, add 0.002 to their movement rate. If an enemy passes position 1.02, the player loses immediately: stop gameplay, show a red-tinted scare overlay with a large orange pumpkin face, glowing eyes, and a dark open mouth, then show a dark end overlay titled “CAUGHT” and the text “Something from the house found you.” Include the caught enemy’s name in a short message such as “Marlow got in!” or “Pumpkin Pete got in!”. Provide large touch-friendly controls along the bottom. On the left, buttons labeled LEFT DOOR and RIGHT DOOR toggle the corresponding doors open/closed; closed doors visibly become dark red/purple filled panels with a brighter outline, while open doors are black openings. On the right, include CAMERA, MAP, and LIGHTS buttons. CAMERA toggles a security-monitor overlay and increases power drain while active. MAP toggles a live house-map overlay and closes the camera view. LIGHTS briefly activates both hall lights for 1.2 seconds, visually adding a subtle warm translucent glow beside the doors and displaying a short “Hall lights on” message. Buttons should visibly change style when active. Also support keyboard shortcuts: 1 toggles the left door, 2 toggles the right door, C toggles the camera, L activates lights, and Left/Right Arrow changes camera feeds while the camera is open. The camera can also be advanced by tapping/clicking the monitor canvas. The security camera view should cover the scene with a translucent near-black overlay and a green-gray CRT/security aesthetic: bordered monitor frame, scanline-like horizontal bands, labels such as “CAM 1 // OFFICE,” “SIGNAL: STABLE” or “SIGNAL: NOISY,” and an instruction to tap or use arrows to switch cameras. Cycle through exactly five named feeds: OFFICE, HALL L, HALL R, KITCHEN, and BACKYARD. Show one of the stylized enemies intermittently in the feed, using the orange pumpkin kid or white ghost kid artwork. Include a small live minimap in the camera view. The full MAP view should instead display a large bordered overlay labeled “HOUSE MAP // LIVE MOTION TRACKING,” with connected room boxes for OFFICE, HALL L, HALL R, KITCHEN, and BACKYARD, and live enemy markers: an orange pumpkin kid marker on the left route and a white skeleton/ghost kid marker on the right route. Add the legend “Pumpkin kid = orange marker Skeleton kid = white marker.” Draw the enemy art as simple geometric figures consistent with the existing canvas style. The pumpkin kid should have an orange round pumpkin head, green angled stem, dark eyes, pale teeth, a dark body/ground shadow, and blocky legs. The ghost kid should have a white circular head, dark oval eyes, a simple dark mouth line, a white stick-like body and limbs, and small white feet. Use warm gold text for the title and status emphasis, muted lavender/purple borders, and green-gray monochrome styling for camera/map overlays. On the initial screen, show the office scene dimmed behind a centered “MIDNIGHT AT PUMPKIN HOUSE” title, “A spooky night-shift survival game,” and a prominent START NIGHT button. After loss or victory, show a TRY AGAIN button and reset all timers, power, door states, lights, camera/map state, and enemy positions when restarted. Include short transient centered messages such as “The house is quiet... for now,” “Camera monitor online,” “Back to office,” “House map online,” and “6 AM — YOU SURVIVED.”
