Make your own game

Orbit Arena was built by Abraham .M with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Orbit Arena opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Orbit Arena

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable top-down 2D arena shooter titled "Orbit Arena". Use a full-window canvas with a dark navy space-like arena and a clean neon sci-fi HUD. The playfield is a 2200x1500 rectangular world shown through a smooth camera centered on the player, with a subtle blue-gray 80px grid. The player starts at the world center as a glowing cyan-blue circular ship with a small dark triangular nose indicating its aim direction, and a short green/cyan health bar above it. The player has 100 HP and moves at a brisk constant speed, clamped inside the arena bounds. On desktop, support WASD and arrow keys for movement, mouse position for aiming, and holding the mouse button to continuously fire. On touch devices, show a translucent circular virtual joystick at bottom-left for movement and a large translucent pink/red FIRE button at bottom-right for shooting; dragging the joystick should also orient the player while it is active.

At match start, spawn 9 rival bots around the player at random distances of roughly 320–680 world units, with additional bots periodically spawning up to a maximum of 12 active opponents. Bots are glowing circular ships in alternating pink, orange, and purple colors, each with a dark triangular nose, a 55 HP health bar, and simple AI: pursue/loosely orbit the player when nearby, aim at the player, and periodically fire red/pink projectiles when within range. The player fires small pale-blue projectiles at a rapid fixed cadence, while bot projectiles are pink/red and damage the player. Projectiles travel quickly, expire after a short lifetime, and disappear on arena bounds or collision. Player shots damage bots; destroying one awards 100 score, increments KOs, produces a colorful burst of particles, and usually drops an energy core at the bot's position.

Place 12 glowing mint/teal energy cores randomly around the arena at startup. Cores pulse in size and glow; collecting one by touching it restores 18 HP up to 100 and awards 25 score. Draw a large translucent blue circular danger/safe ring centered in the arena. It begins with radius 760 and steadily shrinks by about 4.2 units per second, but never below radius 390. Being outside the ring continuously damages both the player and bots (the player loses 12 HP per second, bots lose 8 HP per second). The player also loses HP from bot projectiles; show brief hit particles and subtle screen shake on impacts and outside-ring damage. When HP reaches zero, stop the match and show a centered results overlay; the result should read "You were eliminated" and display final score and KOs, with a "RUN IT BACK" button to reset and restart. There is no implemented victory/arena-cleared condition, so do not add one.

Before gameplay, display a full-screen dim blue radial-gradient overlay with a centered rounded dark translucent card bordered in faint blue. The card should say "QUICK MATCH // 01", show the large title "Orbit Arena" with "Arena" highlighted blue, explain: "Drop into a fast top-down blaster. Hunt the rival bots, grab energy cores, and stay inside the ring.", and include a blue-to-purple gradient "PLAY NOW" button plus the small note "Browser build · bots simulate opponents for this offline slice". During play, place a glassy HUD panel at top-left labeled "ORBIT ARENA" with Score and KOs counters, and a matching top-right panel showing HP and a horizontal green-to-blue health bar. Center a small instruction line near the top reading "WASD / arrows to move · mouse to aim · hold click to fire · survive the shrinking ring"; hide this desktop help text on coarse/touch devices. Use crisp sans-serif typography, rounded panels, subtle borders, blur, soft glows, and restrained neon colors against the dark navy background. Add small circular particle bursts for firing, hits, and bot destruction, and keep the overall aesthetic minimal, polished, and arcade-like.
