Make your own game

Math Block Blast was built by Crypto Visioneer with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Math Block Blast opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Math Block Blast

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a colorful, kid-friendly browser game titled “Math Block Blast” with the author blurb “GIVE IT A TRY!”. Use a full-screen 2D canvas game inside a rounded, responsive play area. The visual style is bright preschool/elementary arcade: pale sky-blue to cream gradient background with floating white dots, a warm golden rounded wall/panel behind the play field, chunky rounded candy-colored blocks with glossy highlights, white outlines, soft glow/shadows, large friendly typography, and celebratory particles. Use a HUD over the canvas.

At startup, show a translucent cream blurred overlay and a centered white modal card with a thick cyan border, rounded corners, blue shadow, and a large coral/red “Math Block Blast!” heading with a yellow shadow. Under it explain that the player should choose a level/age range and blast the correct answer. Provide six colorful buttons: “Ages 4–6” pink, “Ages 7–8” blue, “Ages 9–10” green, “Ages 11–13” purple, “Ages 14–17” orange, and “College Level” teal. Also provide a Teacher Mode button, which opens a dashboard showing age range, level, score, correct answers in the current 20-question segment, difficulty percentage, and collected rewards. Include a Show correct answers checkbox and controls to close or reset saved progress.

Once an age range is selected, remove the modal and begin a question-based arcade round. At the top-left display the brand “MATH BLOCK BLAST”, the selected age label, and the current question number in the segment. At the top-right display Points, a large score, Stars count, and Stickers count. Center near the top, show the current math question inside a large white rounded rectangle with a yellow border and soft shadow. Below/around the center, create a 3-by-3 grid of nine large rounded answer blocks. Each block displays one possible answer in large bold white text. Use varied colors selected from pink, blue, green, yellow, purple, and orange gradients. Exactly one block is correct, and randomize its location and color for every question. Keep a progress bar near the top center showing the current level and completed problems.

The core interaction is aiming at an answer block and blasting it. Support keyboard arrows or WASD to move a visible white circular crosshair/reticle with red glow over the playfield; clamp it so it remains in the playable area. Support gamepad left stick similarly. Press Space, Enter, or gamepad A to blast the block nearest the reticle, but only if the reticle is sufficiently close. If no block is targeted, show “Aim at a block!”. The bottom hint should read “LEFT STICK / ARROWS AIM · A / SPACE BLAST · START ALBUM”. The gamepad Start button toggles the reward album.

Generate math according to the selected age range and an internal difficulty that starts low and adjusts with performance. For ages 4–6, generate small addition problems and later simple nonnegative subtraction, such as “2 + 3 = ?”. For ages 7–8, generate addition, simple subtraction, and occasional multiplication with modest operands. For ages 9–10, generate larger addition/subtraction and multiplication. For ages 11–13, generate larger whole-number addition, subtraction, and multiplication. For ages 14–17, generate common-denominator fraction addition, decimal multiplication, or simple linear equations such as “3x + 5 = 26”. For College Level, generate fraction addition, linear equations, and decimal multiplication with somewhat broader values. Produce eight distractors along with the correct answer; for numeric questions use nearby values, and for fraction questions use random reduced fractions. Display the question and answers using the exact symbols/styles appropriate to the operation, including × and −.

A correct blast should remove the selected block, increment correct answers, award points starting at 100 with a small bonus for answering earlier in the 20-question segment, increment stars, and award a sticker every five correct answers. Show green feedback such as “✨ YES! +100”, play a cheerful short tone, speak encouraging feedback through browser speech synthesis when available, shake the screen slightly, and emit a burst of yellow particles. Track a quick-answer streak: answers within roughly 5.5 seconds increase the streak; three fast answers raise difficulty and reset the streak. A wrong block should remain in place, reduce score by 15 without going below zero, reduce difficulty, reset the streak, show red feedback “Try another block!”, play a sad descending tone, and speak an encouraging retry message.

Each segment contains 20 questions. After the twentieth answer, show a celebration overlay with confetti, floating colored balloons, a trophy/sparkle icon, and a “Great Job!” card reporting “X of 20 correct · Y points · Z stars”. Show 1–5 earned stars based on accuracy and list collected rewards. Award “Golden Crown” for a perfect 20/20, “Rainbow Badge” for at least 16 correct, or “Happy Star” for at least 10 correct. Continue gameplay with a dramatic brief colorful spinning/zoom transition and “BEGIN!” message. The game uses five levels for ages 4–6, seven levels for ages 7–8, and ten levels for all older ranges; each level is represented as 1,000 problems in the progress display, while each play segment advances by 20 problems. Completing a level awards a medal sticker such as “Level 1 Medal” and advances to the next level.

Include a reward Album button in the HUD that opens a white purple-bordered panel listing collected reward names and a close button. Include Save, Load, and Teacher Mode functionality using browser localStorage: save age, score, stars, stickers, level, level progress, difficulty, and collectibles; load restores that progress and starts play; reset clears saved progress and the album. Keep the album persistent separately as well. Use responsive sizing so blocks and text adapt to window dimensions. Add simple synthesized audio feedback and speech where available. Do not add enemies, timers, lives, weapons, scrolling, or 3D elements: the game is a stationary educational aim-and-select puzzle with colorful arcade presentation.
