Last Road North was built by Aynur Əliyeva with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Last Road North opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a portrait-friendly, full-screen 2D top-down exploration game titled “Last Road North.” Begin with a dark, atmospheric title menu overlay: deep green/black gradient with a faint warm radial glow, centered translucent dark card, small gold uppercase eyebrow “A 24-hour journey,” large cream serif title split over two lines as “Last Road” and “North,” descriptive text reading “Travel the living country road until the horizon runs out. Every second counts — reach the barrier at the end of the clock.”, and a large gold PLAY button with dark green lettering and a darker offset shadow. When PLAY is pressed, hide the menu and show the game world on a full-window canvas. Use a muted natural palette: textured/mottled olive-green grass covering the world, with subtle scattered pale grass marks. A broad, slightly irregular tan/khaki road or path runs vertically through the center of the screen toward the top/north; render it as a translucent polygon that is wider at the distant/top edge and somewhat narrower toward the bottom. The camera follows the player smoothly, keeping the player near screen center, so the endlessly generated countryside scrolls as the player travels. The player is a small cute front-facing beige astronaut/explorer character sprite with a large round helmet, dark outline, pale face/visor area, tiny body and feet. Place it at the center of the view, slightly above its world position. Use a Kenney-style raster sprite look rather than pixel art. Populate the surrounding grass procedurally with sparse trees and stones: small green trees of varied scale and occasional gray vertical stones, with depth sorting by world Y so nearer props draw in front of farther ones. Generate deterministic chunks of countryside around the player and recycle/remove distant chunks so travel can continue indefinitely. Props are solid obstacles: the player cannot move through trees or stones. Movement is continuous 2D movement at a fixed moderate speed, controlled on desktop with WASD or arrow keys: up/left/down/right. Normalize diagonal movement so it is not faster. On touch devices, provide a large translucent circular virtual joystick at bottom-left with an inner ring and a gold draggable nub, plus a dark circular pause button at bottom-right. Include keyboard spacebar pause as well. Pausing freezes movement and the journey clock and changes the mobile pause symbol to a play triangle. At the top of the gameplay screen, overlay two dark translucent stat cards with thin subtle borders and blur: left card labeled “JOURNEY CLOCK” and displaying an HH:MM:SS timer beginning at 00:00:00; right-aligned card labeled “DISTANCE” and displaying a value beginning at “0.0 km.” The journey clock advances in real elapsed gameplay seconds, capped at 24 hours (86,400 seconds), and distance displays the maximum northward distance reached, computed from northward world travel and formatted to one decimal kilometer. Show a small bottom-center desktop hint, “WASD / Arrow keys to travel,” while hiding it for coarse/touch pointers. The goal is to travel north along the road and reach the absolute end when the 24-hour clock expires. North is decreasing world Y. Once the timer reaches exactly 24 hours, set an end state: stop further movement, including blocking continued northward travel, and overlay the entire scene with a dark translucent panel. Center cream text reads “THE END OF THE COUNTRY” in a large serif font, with the smaller muted subtitle “The barrier holds. Your journey has reached its absolute edge.” Keep the restrained, contemplative visual style: olive grass, tan road, deep forest-green translucent UI, cream typography, and muted gold accents. Do not add combat, collectibles, enemies, inventory, weather, day/night changes, or other mechanics not described here.
