Ice Line was built by Karson kinner with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Ice Line opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a responsive single-screen 2D canvas tower-defense game titled “ICE LINE: HEETH.” Use a fixed orthographic/top-down view with no camera scrolling. The setting is a pale blue frozen ice field with subtle translucent angular ice plates, a dark navy sci-fi HUD header at the top, and a dark navy control bar at the bottom. The battlefield occupies the center. Draw one thick, rounded, pale icy road as a fixed zig-zag path running from the left edge through several sharp turns and loops toward the bottom-right corner. Give the road a darker blue-gray shadow/outer stroke and a thin cyan inner line. Enemies enter at the first path point on the left and follow the entire path to the final point. At the final point, display a circular base marker: a dark blue outer disk, a light cyan inner disk, and the label “BASE.” There should be an open snow/build area around the path, but do not allow turret placement within roughly 38 pixels of the road, outside the battlefield margins, or in the HUD areas. The player defends the base by selecting a turret and clicking/tapping valid snow beside the path. Start with 260 requisition credits, base health 20/20, wave 0, and score 0. Turrets cost credits when deployed and cannot overlap another turret within about 28 pixels. Show a translucent range circle around every turret and a ghost placement circle at the pointer over valid buildable snow. Turrets automatically target enemies in range, prioritizing the enemy furthest along the path. Show brief colored firing lines and impact sparks. Implement three turret types, selectable using the bottom cards or keyboard number keys: 1. MACHINE GUN, abbreviated “MG,” cost 80, yellow/gold styling, range about 104, rapid fire every 0.22 seconds, 13 damage, described as “rapid / light bugs.” 2. ANTI-MATERIEL, abbreviated “AM,” cost 150, coral/red styling, range about 145, fires every 1.45 seconds for 155 damage, and ignores armor; describe it as “armor piercing.” 3. TESLA TOWER, abbreviated “TESLA,” cost 120, cyan styling, range about 112, fires every 1.55 seconds for 44 damage, chains to up to four targets in range, and slows each hit enemy for about 1.4 seconds; describe it as “shock + slow.” Render each turret as a dark navy circular unit with a colored outline and its abbreviation in the center. Disabled turrets should be visibly dimmed and have a pulsing green warning ring. The wave button in the lower-right says “START NEXT WAVE” when idle and “WAVE ACTIVE” during combat. The player can also press Space or tap that button to begin a wave. A wave spawns 8 plus 3 times the wave number enemies, one at a time, with roughly 0.62 seconds between early spawns and a minimum interval around 0.18 seconds at higher waves. After all enemies are defeated and none remain, end the wave and award a requisition bonus of 35 plus 4 times the wave number. Do not allow starting another wave while one is active. Use these enemy types and behaviors: - SCAV: small pale icy circular bug, 38 base HP, speed about 0.105 plus 0.012 per wave, reward 9, no armor. - WARRIOR: larger blue-gray circle, 112 base HP, speed about 0.065 plus 0.006 per wave, reward 16. - HUNTER: gold-tinted circle, 70 base HP, speed about 0.092 plus 0.008 per wave, reward 19; periodically leaps forward along the path by about 0.055 progress and displays a brief “LEAP” label. - CHARGER: large dark gray armored unit, 540 base HP, slow speed about 0.032 plus 0.002 per wave, reward 48; non-armor-piercing damage is reduced to 12% effectiveness. Give it two horn-like strokes. - BILE SPEWER: green unit, 220 base HP, speed about 0.038 plus 0.003 per wave, reward 32; periodically disables the nearest turret within about 82 pixels for 3 seconds, displaying “DISABLED.” Use increasing difficulty scaling of 1 + 0.13 times (wave - 1) for enemy health. Early waves should mostly contain scavengers and warriors; introduce hunters by wave 2, and on later waves include spewers, with a small chance of a charger on every fifth wave. Enemies show a small health bar above them, with green health and coral for armored health. When an enemy dies, award its reward to both credits and score and show a brief floating “+reward.” When an enemy reaches the base, reduce base health by one and show “BASE HIT”; remove that enemy. If base health reaches zero, stop the game and show a dark translucent overlay with “BASE LOST,” “Heeth has fallen. Score [score] · reached wave [wave],” and a “RESTART” button. Clicking restart resets all state to the initial values. HUD layout: Top header is about 12% of the screen height, translucent very dark navy. On the left show large “ICE LINE: HEETH” and below “DEFEND THE SUPER EARTH BASE.” On the right show “BASE,” a horizontal health bar with 20/20 text, then the credit counter with a cent symbol and the current “WAVE [number].” Base bar is mint green while health is above 6 and red when low. Bottom HUD is about 100 pixels high, dark navy. Show the current contextual message just above the turret cards, such as “Select a turret, then click the snow beside the path.”, “Wave N incoming — hold the line!”, “Wave cleared. Requisition bonus awarded.”, “Not enough requisition credits.”, or “That snowbank is occupied.” Draw three rounded rectangular turret cards on the left with color accent strips, name, description, and cost; highlight the selected card with its turret color. Put the wave/start button on the right. Along the very bottom show “MOUSE / TOUCH: place turrets 1 2 3: select SPACE: next wave.” Use a clean minimalist sci-fi/space-defense visual style: icy gradient background from light cyan at the top through near-white to blue at the bottom, dark navy typography and panels, thin cyan road markings, gold/coral/cyan turret accents, rounded shapes, and crisp system-style sans-serif text. Use pointer events for mouse and touch, prevent page scrolling, resize the canvas to the viewport while preserving the logical layout, and animate the game continuously with requestAnimationFrame. Keep all gameplay and visuals on one canvas.
