Cult of the Void was built by Kevin Hughes with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Cult of the Void opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Recreate a browser-based dark-fantasy idle/clicker game titled “CULT OF THE VOID.” Use a full-screen Three.js-style 3D scene viewed from a fixed elevated three-quarter perspective, with a dark nearly black-purple background and exponential fog. The scene should show a circular black stone ritual platform with a glowing crimson rune ring, a central faceted/octagonal cursed altar: a dark stone pedestal supporting a floating/rotating deep-red emissive crystal. Put eight tall gothic stone columns around the platform, each topped with a small glowing blood-red orb. In the distance, include three horizontal purple void portal rings and a shadowy ruined fantasy temple/building. Use moody moonlight, red/pink point lighting, high contrast shadows, crimson and violet emissive accents, and a grim gothic occult atmosphere. The altar crystal should gently bob and rotate continuously, pulse larger briefly when clicked, and the portal rings should slowly rotate. As generators are purchased, visibly add up to 32 small dark cultist/servant capsule-like figures around the altar; higher generator ownership should enlarge the void portals and, for the later tier, enlarge the temple slightly. The core loop is an idle resource clicker. The player clicks the central altar crystal (raycast only the crystal) to harvest Souls. Each click adds current Click Power to both current Souls and lifetime Total Souls and increments a click count. Begin with 0 Souls, 0 Dark Essence, and Click Power 1. Owned generators produce Souls continuously per second, and production is also added to lifetime Total Souls. Display a centered overlay over the altar reading “CLICK THE ALTAR” and “Harvest souls for the void.” Create a fixed HUD over the 3D scene. At the top, show the title “CULT OF THE VOID” in an elegant serif/Cinzel-like uppercase font with a subtle pink glow. Top-right stat cards show Souls, Production (formatted as /s), Click Power, and Dark Essence. At the bottom, place a translucent dark left management panel and a narrower right status/settings panel. On small screens stack these panels vertically while keeping the 3D scene visible. The left panel has four tabs: Generators, Upgrades, Ascension, and Achievements. The Generators tab is active initially and lists these tiers in order, with their starting costs and base production: Lost Souls (10, 0.5/s), Cultists (75, 3/s), Bone Scribes (500, 18/s), Blood Priests (3,000, 90/s), Necromancers (18,000, 420/s), Liches (120,000, 2,200/s), Abyssal Horrors (900,000, 12,000/s), Elder Gods (8,000,000, 70,000/s), Void Titans (75,000,000, 450,000/s), and Void Incarnates (900,000,000, 3,000,000/s). Each generator has an owned count, displays its current production, and uses an escalating price equal to base cost × 1.15^owned. The first tier is available; every later tier is locked until the previous tier has at least one owned. Each row has Buy 1, Buy 10, Buy 100, and Max buttons. Buying subtracts Souls and updates the world; Max buys repeatedly up to a safe limit while affordable. Generator production is quantity times base production, with special multipliers described below. The Upgrades tab lists six one-time upgrades purchasable with Souls: “Ritual Fingerbones” (250 Souls, +1 click power), “Crimson Sigil” (5,000, ×3 click power), “Whispers of the Deep” (2,500, ×2 all production), “Black Sun Doctrine” (100,000, ×5 all production), “Mass Grave Ledger” (12,000, ×2 Lost Souls and Cultists production), and “Lich Crown” (2,000,000, ×3 Liches production). Owned upgrades become marked Owned and cannot be bought again. Click power is 1 plus Dark Essence, then +1 if Ritual Fingerbones is owned, then multiplied by 3 if Crimson Sigil is owned. Production applies global multipliers from Whispers and Black Sun, a ×2 Lost Souls/Cultists multiplier from Mass Grave Ledger, and a ×3 Liches multiplier from Lich Crown. The Ascension tab explains that the player can sacrifice the current empire for permanent Dark Essence. The current ascension cost starts at 10,000,000 Souls and triples after each ascension. If affordable, calculate received essence as max(1, floor(sqrt(current Souls / cost) × 10)), add it permanently, increment ascension count, reset Souls to zero, reset all generator quantities and temporary/per-run upgrades, clear temporary omens, and show a dramatic toast such as “ASCENSION COMPLETE. +X Dark Essence.” Dark Essence permanently adds directly to click power. Display current offering, required Souls, expected Dark Essence, and a button “Ascend to godhood.” The Achievements tab has three achievements: “First Harvest” for harvesting 100 lifetime Souls, “Tenfold Cult” for owning 10 of any generator, and “Beyond Flesh” for ascending once. Show unlocked achievements with a star and locked achievements with a hollow circle. The right panel has a “VOID STATUS” section showing the next major unlock as the first generator with zero quantity, or that all generator tiers are awakened. Show active omens and their remaining seconds, or “No active omens.” Add a “SETTINGS & SHOP” section with Save Progress and Reset Run buttons. Include two visibly disabled placeholder shop entries: “Obsidian Altar Skin — Cosmetic placeholder” marked Locked, and “Rewarded Ad Bonus — Integration placeholder” marked Unavailable. Include explanatory text that core progression works without purchases and automatic saves/offline gains are capped at 8 hours. Implement random supernatural events checked periodically. There is a 15% chance when the periodic event check runs, provided no event is active, to show a centered event card. Possible events are: Blood Moon — “Production x2 for 60s”; Wandering Spirit — “Click to harvest a bonus cache”; Dark Ritual — “Generators x3 for 45s”; Eclipse — “Click power x3 for 45s.” The event card has an Activate or Harvest Spirit button. Claiming a timed event activates its multiplier for the listed duration; a Wandering Spirit immediately grants max(100, production×30 + clickPower×50) Souls and lifetime Souls. Timed effects count down and appear in the status panel. Blood Moon doubles total production, Dark Ritual triples total production, and Eclipse triples click power. Persist the game to local storage under a versioned save key. Save automatically every 15 seconds and via Save Progress; load saved Souls, lifetime totals, essence, ascensions, generators, upgrades, bonuses, events, achievements, and last-save time. On loading, grant offline production based on elapsed time capped at 8 hours, and show a toast explaining how many Souls the void harvested while away. Reset Run should confirm, clear the save, and reload. Use compact number formatting with units such as K, M, B, T, Qa, and Qi. Use dark translucent panels, burgundy/purple borders, pink highlights, rounded buttons, muted lavender text, serif section headings, and subtle glows. Include brief toast notifications for purchases, saves, offline harvest, and ascension.
