Nobody has said anything about Crimson Orbit yet. Play it, then tell Billy Floyd what you would add next.
Crimson Orbit was built by Billy Floyd with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Crimson Orbit opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-based interactive cinematic story sandbox called “Crimson Orbit.” It is a local, rule-driven space-gothic/anime-styled life sim rather than an action game: the player enters freeform text commands or clicks buttons to advance short narrated scenes, changing stats, relationships, faction standings, inventory, location, and identity. Use a dark two-column responsive layout. The left/main panel is a large 2D canvas cinematic stage; the right panel is a translucent dark story/control interface. On narrow screens stack the panels vertically. Use deep navy, indigo, black, pale blue, pink, and warm gold accents, thin translucent borders, rounded chips, glassy panels, and a cinematic letterbox feel. The opening scene is Day 1 at Ivory Bastion. Show a deep blue star field with many small white and occasional warm-gold stars, a large muted blue planet/moon glow toward the upper right, distant jagged cathedral-like imperial towers and fortress silhouettes along the lower half, and a small kneeling cathedral-frame mech centered near the bottom. The mech is a simple dark geometric silhouette with a rectangular torso, broad horizontal arms, two legs/feet, a glowing pale-blue cockpit/visor, a thin horizontal light, and an arc-like halo above it. Include a subtle faction-colored atmospheric glow and a faint angular skyline/route line. The canvas should continuously animate a slight mech bob and redraw. Vary the stage palette by location: Ivory Bastion uses navy/royal blue/pale blue; Moonwake Market uses purple/violet/pink; Dust Docks uses dark teal/cyan; Starlight Chapel uses indigo/gold; Ashen Flats uses brown/ember peach. Keep the art abstract and silhouette-based, with no detailed 3D assets required. Overlay the stage with top-left and top-right pill chips: “DAY 1 // IVORY BASTION” (updated to the current day/location) and the current cinematic shot label. Available shot labels are Wide Shot, Tracking Shot, Close Up, Silhouette Shot, Duel Frame, and Overhead Shot; choose a shot on each successful command and display the resulting narrative in a wide dark translucent subtitle box near the bottom of the stage. Add cinematic black matte bars at the top and bottom of the canvas. Beneath the canvas show four stat cards: Day, Credits, Energy, and Mech percentage. Add quick action buttons: Patrol, Talk, Travel, Salvage, Rest, Meditate, and Hail Faction. The right panel title reads “Crimson Orbit,” with the subtitle “Original cinematic sandbox — anime-styled space gothic life sim with mechs, factions, and freeform story commands.” Show a stylized abstract portrait tile made from gradients, then the player identity: Rei Voss, initially a “Relic-blood envoy,” role “Vatican Agent,” archetype “covert church operative,” and current location. Display small tags for Health, Hunger, Role, and Faction. Add a “Faction voices” section with a Voice Off/Voice On button and three selectable faction cards: - Free Pilots, pale blue: “Mercy before empire. Motion before obedience.” - Choir Dominion, warm gold: “Steel without liturgy is only hunger with a louder voice.” - Ashen Wardens, pink: “We were made from ruins. We know how to make ruins answer back.” Each card shows its current standing and clicking it hails that faction. When voice is enabled, use browser speech synthesis for faction transmissions; otherwise remain silent. Below the faction panel, show a scrollable story log with entries labeled System, Scene, Change, and You. At the bottom show dynamically generated rounded choice buttons plus a text input and “Play Scene” button. The input accepts commands up to roughly 180 characters, Enter submits, and the interface should clearly suggest freeform examples such as traveling to Moonwake Market, talking to Lucien, salvaging a wreck, patrolling, resting, dueling, or meditating. Invalid commands should produce a System response and a Close Up rather than breaking the game. Initialize state with Day 1, Chapter 1, 72 energy, 140 credits, renown 8, hunger 18, health 88, mech condition 54%, location Ivory Bastion, faction Free Pilots, faction standings Free Pilots +2, Choir Dominion 0, Ashen Wardens -1, inventory [moonwater, relic shard], relationships Lucien 1, Serah 0, Daro 0, and flags awakenedBlood false, ownsCrew false, oathbound false. The opening log says that Rei Voss is a Vatican agent who can change identity, followed by a scene about stormlight over Ivory Bastion and the mech kneeling beneath cathedral spires. Implement these actual destinations and their visual/story flavor: Ivory Bastion (“holy towers and fractured imperial banners,” actions patrol the walls/hear confession traffic/take escort work); Moonwake Market (“neon shrines, spice steam, and black-market relics,” trade scraps/take courier work/listen for rumors); Dust Docks (“half-buried carriers and rusted cranes over vacuum piers,” salvage wreckage/tune the mech/hire a crew); Starlight Chapel (“orbiting stained-glass sanctum lit by dying suns,” meditate/seek relic lore/make a vow); Ashen Flats (“graveyard dunes littered with armored saints and walkers,” hunt raiders/scout a route/search ancient bones). Traveling to another location lowers energy by a random 4–8, raises hunger by 2–5, advances the day by one, and narrates the transition. Support commands and clickable actions with these rules: - Work/patrol/escort: earn 28–52 credits, lose 8–15 energy and 3–8 mech condition, gain 1–3 renown. - Salvage wreckage: earn 20–70 credits, lose 6–12 energy and 0–10 mech condition, with a 35% chance to gain an ancient component. - Rest/sleep: heal 8–16 health, restore 14–22 energy, raise hunger by 8, and advance the day. - Meditate/pray/focus: gain 6–12 focus (initial focus 52), restore 6 energy, and sometimes awaken the relic blood flag. - Duel/fight/battle: success is based on a 45% base chance plus focus; a win earns 35–70 credits and 3 renown but damages the mech, while a loss damages health by 8–18 and gives 1 renown. Narrate sparks, dust, steel halos, smoke, and a cinematic fight frame. - Upgrade/repair/tune mech costs 45 credits and restores 16–28 mech condition; refuse if the player cannot pay. - Search/seek relics has a 55% success chance, granting one of sun medal, glass rosary core, or lunar blood ampoule and 2 renown; failure costs 10 energy. - Recruit/hire crew costs 90 credits, sets ownsCrew, and grants 2 renown; repeat recruitment reports that the crew is already aboard. - Talking to Lucien Vale (Choir Mechanic), Serah Nyx (Exile Oracle), or Marshal Daro (Imperial Ward) raises that relationship by one and grants 1 renown, with location-specific narration. - Inventory/bag lists items; status/stats reports health, energy, mech, credits, renown, focus, and role; “who am I” reports identity and faction; help lists available commands. Allow identity changes at any time through commands like “become knight” or “become assassin.” Supported roles are Knight, Soldier, Marine, Cleric, Vatican Agent, Bounty Hunter, Paladin, Crusader, Blackguard, Man-at-Arms, Assassin, Wetwork Operative, Info Broker, Informant, and Underground Racer. Each role updates the displayed role, title, and archetype, and grants 1 renown. Preserve the explicitly different identity system: the player is not forced to be a mech pilot even though the stage shows their cathedral-frame mech. Faction commands include listing factions, hailing/broadcast/listening to a faction, and joining/pledging/aligning with one. Hailing raises that faction’s standing by one and renown by one, then displays one of several faction broadcasts. Joining the selected faction raises its standing by two, lowers each other faction by one, grants 2 renown, changes the active visual accent, and displays a broadcast. Use the faction colors in the canvas glow, mech lights, skyline line, and UI active states. After each successful command, append the scene text and a formatted Change entry to the log, update the subtitle and shot, regenerate five contextual choices (a random other destination, one of the three NPCs, a job/relic/upgrade task, a faction hail, and rest/meditate/duel), redraw the stage, and occasionally trigger minor random events: bonus credits from a trader, a hunger spike, or coolant/mech damage. Hunger reaching 100 reduces it to 75 and costs 12 health; health reaching zero resets health to 42 and energy to 35 with a med-bay recovery message. Keep all responses atmospheric but constrained to these mechanics: relic blood, imperial frontier, cathedral frames, wounded empires, pilots, shrines, static, dust, and faction broadcasts. Include exposed game state/update hooks if useful for an AI game environment, but do not add combat controls, real-time movement, weapons, enemies, or features not represented by this command-driven design.”,
