Make your own game

Frontier Command 3D was built by STEVEN MOLYNEAUX with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Frontier Command 3D opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Frontier Command 3D

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive, portrait-friendly 2D canvas strategy lane-battle game titled “Citadel Rush.” Use a dark navy-to-blue vertical gradient background and a clean flat/vector UI with rounded rectangles, bold system sans-serif text, muted teal battlefield panels, gold selection accents, and bright blue/red faction colors. The game should scale to the browser viewport, with the battlefield occupying the upper ~76% and a dark control panel along the bottom.

Core layout and camera: show three horizontal lanes stacked vertically across the battlefield. Each lane is a wide teal strip with a thin border; the selected lane is brighter and outlined in gold/yellow. Place the player citadel on the left side of the middle lane and an enemy red citadel on the right side of the middle lane. Add a subtle repeating road/ground texture through the central battlefield. The castles are simple stylized towers: player castle in blue with two tall side turrets, pale caps, a dark doorway, and a small gold circular detail; enemy castle mirrors it in red/dark red.

HUD: at the top left display a rounded blue health bar labeled “CITADEL 100%” (the percentage must update and clamp from 0–100). At the top right display a rounded red health bar labeled “ENEMY 100%.” Center the title “CITADEL RUSH” in pale cream, with a second line showing “Wave N • Gold X • Score Y.” Show temporary rounded dark notification banners near the top of the field for messages such as “Hire troops, then launch a wave!”, “Wave 1: enemy scouts incoming!”, “Lane 2 selected,” “Guard hired for lane 2,” “Wave cleared! +35 gold,” and insufficient-gold feedback.

Gameplay: begin with 120 gold, wave 0, both citadels at 100 health, score 0, and lane 2 selected. The player taps/clicks one of the three battlefield lanes to select it, then hires units that spawn at the player castle in that lane. The bottom panel has four equal rounded buttons: Guard (sword icon, 30g), Archer (purple bow/arrow icon, 50g), Knight (gold horse icon, 80g), and a wave button. The wave button says “START WAVE / Send the raid” when idle and “MARCHING / N enemies” while active. Keyboard support should also work: keys 1, 2, and 3 hire Guard, Archer, and Knight; Space starts a wave; Arrow Up/Down changes the selected lane.

Unit stats and behavior must match these rules. Guard: cost 30, 80 HP, 13 damage, speed 34, attack range 42, blue color, attacks every 0.6 seconds. Archer: cost 50, 52 HP, 10 damage, speed 26, range 126, purple color, attacks every 0.85 seconds and visually fires a short purple projectile/tracer. Knight: cost 80, 150 HP, 28 damage, speed 20, range 40, gold color, attacks every 0.6 seconds. Units are circular colored tokens with a dark outline, a symbolic icon, a small shadow, and a green HP bar above them. They automatically advance rightward in their lane when they have no enemy target. When they reach the enemy side, they damage the enemy citadel continuously and stop near it.

Waves: pressing the wave button starts a wave unless one is already active. Wave number increments, and wave total is 4 + wave number * 2. Spawn enemies one at a time from the enemy castle side into random lanes, approximately every 0.85 seconds (slightly faster on later waves). A wave ends after all scheduled enemies have spawned and all enemies are gone, then award 35 gold and show the wave-cleared banner. If no wave is active, automatically start a wave after the initial cooldown and subsequent cooldowns. Enemies move leftward when unblocked, attack the nearest player unit in their lane when in contact/range, and otherwise continuously damage the player citadel when they reach it. Normal enemies have starting HP 55 + wave number * 6, speed 24 + min(12, wave number * 1.5), and damage 10. From wave 3 onward, 18% of spawned enemies are elite: show them as orange tokens with a rook-like icon, 115 HP, speed 17, and damage 18. Normal enemies are red/pink tokens with a skull icon and a red/orange HP bar.

Combat and economy: units and enemies attack automatically. Defeating an enemy grants 12 gold and 10 score. The player also receives 8 gold every 2.5 seconds. A unit/enemy collision should show small colored burst particles; defeated enemies should create a larger gold-colored burst. Archer attacks should show a brief moving projectile/tracer. Citadel damage should be continuous while a unit or enemy is pressed against the opposing base. Clamp both base health values between 0 and 100.

End states: if the enemy citadel reaches 0, freeze the game and show a dark translucent overlay with large gold “VICTORY,” followed by “Score X • Wave N” and a centered rounded “TAP TO RESTART” button. If the player citadel reaches 0, show the same overlay with large pink/red “DEFEAT.” Tapping/clicking after game over resets all state to the initial 120-gold, wave-0 setup. Keep the presentation as a compact arcade real-time lane-defense/raid game, with no invented menus, upgrades, inventory, or extra screens.
