Make your own game

Chibi Studio was built by andersonzaylee92 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Chibi Studio opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Chibi Studio

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive 2D web game titled “Chibi Studio,” a pastel chibi avatar customization, cosmetic gacha, scene-making, and collection game. Use a full-screen canvas as the visual stage with fixed HTML/CSS interface layered above it; support touch and mouse, with a mobile layout and a desktop layout.

Visual style: cheerful kawaii/pastel presentation with rounded white translucent panels, pink/cyan/purple/yellow accents, soft shadows, Fredoka-style rounded bold typography, and a simple hand-drawn chibi rendered from clean colored shapes. The default background is a pale blue-to-cream sky with tiled fluffy cloud/tree imagery, a pale green ground, and a soft white oval stage shadow. The avatar is large and centered above the bottom controls: a small round-faced character with brown bob hair, peach skin, dark oval sparkling eyes, pink blush, a smiling mouth, a bright pink rounded outfit with a white circular emblem, simple legs/shoes, a white bow, and a small bunny plush prop. Add a gentle idle vertical bob animation. Draw the avatar from vector-like canvas primitives so hair, face, outfit, accessory, skin color, props, and poses visibly change.

Top HUD: a fixed rounded top bar contains the pink “Chibi Studio” brand, a blue diamond gem icon and current gem count (start at 120), a star icon and owned cosmetic count out of the total, and a “Daily +80” button. The daily button can be claimed once per calendar day, granting 80 gems and then changing to “Daily claimed.” Persist the full game state in local storage.

Bottom/main navigation: four large rounded tab buttons labeled Customize, Gacha, Studio, and Album. The active tab is bright pink; inactive tabs are white/translucent purple text. On mobile, these sit above a large bottom white rounded panel; on desktop, the panel is a right-side vertical panel while the canvas remains visible on the left. The canvas should continue to show the avatar and scene behind the interface.

Customize tab: show an “Avatar Creator” heading and helper text “Tap a category, unlock more with gems.” Provide category chips for Hair, Face, Outfit, Accessory, Prop, and Skin; the selected chip is cyan. Show item cards in a responsive grid. Selecting an owned item equips it immediately. Locked cards are faded/grayscale and cannot be selected, with “Locked” status. Base/owned content includes hair Bubble Bob, Twin Tails, Cloud Puff; face Sparkle, Sleepy, Wink; outfit Cozy Hoodie, Sailor Fit, Overalls; accessory None, Bow, Round Specs; prop None, Bunny Plush; and Skin Tone. Include additional unlockable items: hair Starfall Hair (featured), Side Braid, Cat Cut; face Moon Eyes (featured), Big Blush; outfit Celestial Dress (featured), Idol Jacket, Raincoat; accessory Star Crown (featured), Cat Ears, Halo; prop Tiny Mic, Moon Wand (featured), Story Book, Balloon. Add a horizontal color-swatch row whose palette depends on the selected category: skin tones, hair colors, outfit colors, or accent colors. The currently selected swatch has a pink outline. Save changes immediately.

Gacha tab: display a “Lucky Capsule” section with text explaining that cosmetics and props can be pulled and the featured set wins. Show a small capsule graphic split into white/yellow/pink with a question mark and a shake animation when pulled. A pull costs 60 gems. If the player has insufficient gems, disable the button and show “Need more gems.” On pull, subtract 60, shake for about half a second, then select from non-base cosmetics, with a boosted chance for featured items. If the item is new, unlock it and automatically equip it, showing a result such as “Unlocked FEATURED Starfall Hair! It is now equipped.” If it is already owned, grant a 20-gem duplicate refund and show the duplicate result. Display progress for the five featured IDs: Starfall Hair, Moon Eyes, Celestial Dress, Star Crown, and Moon Wand. When all five are unlocked, mark the player as a winner and show a completion toast for the Celestial Pop featured set.

Studio tab: provide a “Scene Studio” panel with controls for Background, Speech, and Pose. Background choices are Pastel Park, School Roof, Dream Stage, and Cozy Room. Pastel Park uses the cloud/tree sky and green field; School Roof uses a blue/cream sky, gray rooftop with diagonal lines, and clouds; Dream Stage uses a dark purple-to-pink gradient, many stars, a dark stage floor, and a yellow horizontal stage light; Cozy Room uses a pink/cream gradient, a pink floor, a white wall/picture shape and simple pink furnishings. Speech is a short text input limited to 42 characters. Render it above the avatar inside a white rounded speech bubble with a pink outline and a small triangular pointer, wrapping to at most three lines. Pose choices are Cute Idle, Wave, Peace Sign, and Dance, and visibly alter the simple canvas avatar’s arms/pose and prop position. Include a Center button restoring the avatar’s normalized position and a “Save Scene +15 ◆” button. Drag the avatar directly on the canvas in Studio mode, clamping it to a sensible central region; show a desktop hint that Studio mode allows dragging the chibi and saving a scene. Saving captures a PNG snapshot of the canvas, stores up to six recent scene records in an album, and grants 15 gems.

Album tab: label the panel “Collection,” show the featured-set win requirement/progress, and list all non-skin/non-None cosmetic items in a responsive grid. Featured items have a gold border; locked items are faded and show a lock icon, while owned items show a check mark. The Album tab also visually previews saved album scenes as faint layered cards on the canvas when records exist. The game’s win state is completing all five featured cosmetics, not simply saving scenes.

Interaction and presentation details: use pointer events for buttons and canvas dragging, prevent accidental repeated gacha pulls during the animation, show short dark rounded toast notifications for daily reward, unlocks, duplicate refunds, saved scenes, centering, and win completion. Keep the canvas avatar gently bobbing regardless of tab; in non-Studio tabs place it in a fixed showcase position, while in Studio use the saved draggable normalized position. Use rounded controls, soft drop shadows, pastel pink/cyan/purple UI colors, and responsive sizing matching a cute mobile-first dress-up game.
