Make your own game

Turbo İkili was built by Elif Ebrar Mendeş with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Turbo İkili opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Turbo İkili

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-based 2D local multiplayer racing game titled “Turbo İkili” (Turkish for “Turbo Duo”), with a fixed top-down camera and no scrolling. It is a same-keyboard race for exactly two human players: the blue car “Mavi” uses W/A/S/D to accelerate, brake/reverse, and steer, while the red car “Kırmızı” uses the arrow keys. The first player to complete 3 laps wins.

Use a full-screen responsive dark navy game area, capped around 1200×900, with a subtle blue grid background made of evenly spaced vertical and horizontal lines. In the center, draw a large horizontal oval circuit: a green outer border/grass rim, a dark gray asphalt oval, and a smaller dark-green infield in the center. Add a white dashed oval lane divider between the outer road and the infield. Put a small black-and-white checkered start/finish strip across the lower part of the oval and label the center area “3 TUR”. The track should resize with the viewport and remain centered slightly below vertical center.

Place two small stylized top-down cars near the lower start line, side by side. Mavi is bright cyan/blue and Kırmızı is coral red. Each car is a rounded vertical rectangle with a dark windshield, small white headlights, and black side wheels; give it a soft glow in its own color and render its name in white above it. Cars should have forward-facing orientation, acceleration, friction, steering, and reverse movement. Keep them within the oval using soft boundaries: cars that leave the outer ellipse or enter the inner ellipse are pushed back and lose speed. Track lap progress should be calculated around the oval clockwise from the bottom/start area, with a robust lower start-gate crossing check, and increment laps only while moving forward through the gate.

Physics should feel arcade-like: forward acceleration is about 190 units/sec², reverse/braking about 150, natural drag, and a maximum forward speed around 320 with reverse down to about -70. Steering turns based on left/right input and becomes somewhat more responsive at speed. Show the current race status in a top-right dark translucent rounded panel, initially reading “3 tur • İlk olan kazanır”, then during play show each player’s lap count such as “Mavi 1/3 • Kırmızı 1/3”.

Add two keyboard-only action abilities. Holding Q for Mavi and I for Kırmızı provides a strong temporary acceleration/boost effect while pressed. Pressing E for Mavi or the Turkish character Ç for Kırmızı fires a rocket once per key press in the car’s forward direction. Rockets are small white projectiles with a red/orange flame and yellow glow, travel quickly, and disappear after a short lifetime or outside the screen. A rocket hit on the other car causes an explosion. Also detect direct car-to-car contact: if the cars come within roughly 30 pixels, destroy the slower car based on absolute speed (ignore collisions while either car is invulnerable). A destroyed car disappears, shows a brief orange/red radial explosion effect, then respawns at its starting grid position after about 1.25 seconds with zero speed and roughly 1.2 seconds of invulnerability.

Begin with a centered dark translucent modal card over the track. The card has a thin blue border, rounded corners, strong shadow, and Turkish text: large yellow “Turbo İkili”; “Aynı klavyede iki kişi yarışın.”; “Mavi: WASD · Q hız · E roket”; “Kırmızı: Ok tuşları · I hız · Ç roket”; and “3 turu ilk tamamlayan kazanır.” Include a prominent yellow rounded button labeled “Yarışı Başlat”. Starting hides the modal and resets both cars, lap counts, timer, projectiles, and explosions. Track elapsed race time. When one player completes the third lap, stop the race and show a centered result modal with “Mavi kazandı! 🏆” or “Kırmızı kazandı! 🏆”, the finish time in seconds, “Tekrar yarışmak ister misiniz?”, and a yellow “Tekrar Oyna” button that resets and starts another race.

Use a compact HUD at the upper left with a dark translucent rounded badge, a checkered flag emoji/icon, and yellow “TURBO İKİLİ” branding. Use a clean system sans-serif font, dark navy panels, yellow/gold buttons and headings, pale blue-gray secondary text, and blue border accents. Make the interface responsive and touch-friendly: on narrow/mobile screens, show two separate on-screen directional pads along the bottom, blue-accented controls on the left for Mavi and red-accented controls on the right for Kırmızı, each with ▲/◀/▼/▶ buttons. Hide these touch pads on wider desktop screens. Touch pads should control movement only; keep boost and rocket abilities keyboard-based as specified. Prevent page scrolling and make the canvas fill the available viewport.
