Make your own game

Turbo Bichinhos was built by Sarah with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Turbo Bichinhos opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Rebuild a fullscreen, browser-based 2D arcade driving game titled “Turbo Bichinhos,” with Portuguese UI and a cheerful cartoon style. Use a responsive canvas that fills the viewport; on narrow portrait phones, show a full-screen translucent blue overlay saying “↔️ Vire o celular de lado para jogar,” while the actual game is intended for landscape orientation.

Scene and camera: use a fixed side-scrolling camera. The player remains in the lower roadway area while scenery, cones, and collectibles move from right to left. Paint a vertical gradient sky from bright cyan-blue at the top to pale blue near the horizon. Add a yellow circular sun in the upper-right and several soft white cartoon clouds drifting slowly in the background. The bottom roughly 40% of the screen is a flat gray road, with a thin light-gray curb at its top and repeating cream/yellow dashed lane markings. Put a green grassy strip between the sky and road, including a repeating darker-green rounded shrub/grass silhouette along the horizon. Keep the art as clean, colorful, rounded vector/canvas shapes with soft oval shadows.

Player: draw a cute compact cartoon car centered around its current position in the road area. It has a coral/orange rounded rectangular body, a smaller yellow rounded cabin/roof, a light-blue window, two small white circular highlights/eyes visible in the window area, dark blue wheels, and a small yellow front light. Add a subtle dark translucent oval shadow underneath. The car can move smoothly in both screen axes but must remain bounded inside the road: horizontal movement from near the left edge to near the right edge, and vertical movement only from just below the road’s top edge to near the bottom. Use eased movement toward a target position for responsive but smooth motion.

Core gameplay: the goal is to survive, collect yellow spinning five-point stars, and avoid colored road cones/blocks. Spawn obstacles from the right edge at random vertical road positions; each is a rounded vertical rectangle with alternating white horizontal stripes and one of coral-orange, yellow, or pink colors, plus a small oval shadow. Obstacles travel left at the current speed. Spawn stars from the right at random road positions; render each as a bright yellow, white-outlined, rotating five-point star. Collect a star when the car comes within approximately 42 pixels; remove it and increment the score by one. Display the score in the upper-right as a white star icon and number inside a dark translucent blue rounded pill.

The car starts with 3 lives, though the lives are represented by collision behavior rather than a visible life counter. On collision with an obstacle, remove that obstacle and subtract one life; briefly shake/impact the game. When all three lives are gone, stop the run and show a centered game-over panel with the Portuguese title “Bateu num cone!”, text like “Você fez X pontos — tente de novo!”, and a button labeled “Correr novamente.” The panel should be a large white translucent rounded card with a thick white border, blue text, orange heading, shadow, and a pill-shaped orange button. Before play, show the same centered card with “Pronto?”, “Desvie dos cones e pegue todas as estrelas.” and a “Começar corrida” button. Starting or restarting resets score to 0, lives to 3, speed to a moderate starting value, clears all obstacles and stars, and places the car around the left third of the roadway.

Speed and controls: support keyboard arrows and WASD. Left/right move horizontally; Up/Down move vertically between road positions; holding Space activates the turbo boost. Also provide large touch controls fixed over the lower HUD: left and right arrow buttons on the lower-left, up and down arrow buttons beside them, and a coral “🚀 Turbo” button on the lower-right. Buttons should have white translucent backgrounds, rounded corners, blue labels, and a pressed/active yellow state; Turbo should be orange with a darker pressed shadow. Use pointer/touch dragging directly on the canvas as another mobile control: press and drag horizontally to set the car’s horizontal target position. Keep controls from scrolling or selecting text.

Movement model: gradually adjust ordinary speed toward higher values when Up is held and lower values when Down is held, clamp it between a slow minimum and fast maximum, and apply roughly a 1.55x multiplier while Turbo is held. Move obstacles, stars, and the repeating road markings according to speed, making the road feel continuously scrolling. Increase distance internally as the run progresses and use it to offset cloud, grass, and lane-marking patterns for parallax/scrolling. Spawn cones roughly every 0.9–1.65 seconds and stars roughly every 0.65–1.2 seconds. Clamp the car and all target positions to the playable bounds.

HUD and typography: use a bold system sans-serif. Place “🚗 Turbo Bichinhos” in bold white text with a blue shadow at the upper-left and the ⭐ score pill at the upper-right. At the beginning, show a centered upper/middle instruction message in white with blue shadow: heading “Corrida do Arco-Íris” and “Use ◀ ▶ para os lados e ▲ ▼ para mudar de faixa!” beneath it; hide this message when the run starts. Make the interface responsive with safe-area spacing, rounded controls, and strong contrast. Do not add weapons, enemy characters, menus, powerups other than the Turbo control, or extra levels; the implemented game is a single endless run until the player loses all lives.
