Make your own game

Tiny Wing Climb was built by M. D Sarma with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Tiny Wing Climb opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Tiny Wing Climb

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate a full-screen, portrait-friendly 2D canvas arcade game titled “Tiny Wing Climb,” in the style of a polished, colorful Flappy Bird-like one-button game. Use a bright cartoon sky background with a vertical gradient from cyan-blue at the top through pale blue to warm cream near the horizon, a soft yellow sun in the upper-right, large semi-transparent white bubble clouds, layered rounded green hills, and a green grass strip over a flat ochre-brown ground at the bottom. Add gentle cloud/hill/ground motion to make the world feel alive.

The player controls a small flying superhero bird/winged character positioned around 24% of the screen width. The character should have a rounded colored body, a contrasting cape trailing behind, a pale face/head with a dark eye mask and two white eyes, a small chest emblem, and simple outstretched arms/wings. Include five selectable original flyer skins: Volt Kid (green body, dark cape, lime accent, lightning emblem), Solar Cape (red body, yellow cape, star emblem), Aqua Mask (blue body, dark-blue cape, aqua accent, diamond emblem), Bug Suit (purple body, dark cape, mint mask/accent, dot emblem), and Cosmo Star (pink body, dark purple cape, white accent, star emblem). The bird rotates according to vertical velocity, flaps upward on input, emits a short burst of warm-colored particles when flapping, and has a subtle animated cape.

Core gameplay: tap/click anywhere on the canvas, or press Space, ArrowUp, W, or w, to flap upward. A flap sets vertical velocity to about -8.7; apply constant gravity around 0.52 each update. The run begins from the Start button or first flap. The bird must fly through horizontally scrolling pairs of green pipe obstacles. Each pipe pair has a top segment descending from above and a bottom segment rising from the ground, with rounded projecting lips, highlights, and dark side shading; the gap is vertically positioned with a mixture of a wave pattern and randomness. Start with a 190-pixel gap, 76-pixel pipe width, and horizontal speed about 3.15. Spawn the first pipe just off the right side and then spawn additional pipes roughly every 1180 ms. A pipe counts as passed and adds 1 score only when its right edge has moved behind the bird. Show a small score particle burst when passing.

End the run immediately if the bird touches the top of the screen, the grass/ground boundary, the solid portion of a pipe, or a hazard. Every 5 passed pipes, increase the level: level = floor(score / 5) + 1. With each level, shrink the pipe gap by 14 pixels down to a minimum of 88, increase speed by 0.34, reduce spawn interval by 42 ms down to a minimum of 830 ms, and reduce pipe width by about 2.2 down to a minimum of 54. From level 2 onward, place extra floating obstacles between pipe sets. Normally add one; at level 5 and higher add two. These appear near (but offset from) pipe gap centers and drift left slightly faster than pipes while gently bobbing and spinning. Render them as either purple spiky orbs with a bright center and dark outline, or, from level 4 onward sometimes as yellow outlined lightning bolts. Their radius decreases mildly as levels increase. They are collision hazards.

HUD: overlay fixed white text with soft dark shadow at the top in three translucent blue rounded pills labeled “Score,” “Level,” and “Gap,” showing the current values. Keep a bottom-center hint reading “Tap anywhere to flap.” Use a rounded friendly display font similar to Fredoka. Disable page scrolling and make the canvas cover the viewport, supporting touch and safe areas.

Before a run, show a centered translucent blue results/start card with a white border, rounded corners, and shadow. It should say “Tiny Wing Climb,” then “Tap, click, or press Space to flap.” Include a centered player-name input, default “Player 1,” restricted to 12 characters, and five rounded hero-selection buttons labeled with the skin names; highlight the selected hero in green. Add explanatory text: “Original superhero flyers inspired by the vibe — every 5 pipes shrinks the gap.” Include a large yellow/orange pill-shaped Start button. The start card is hidden while playing.

When the bird crashes, stop gameplay, add a brief screen shake, and show the same centered card as a crash/results screen. Change the title to “Crash!”, show the player’s score, best score, chosen hero, and reached level, and change the button to “Restart.” Show a “Final Top 5 Standings” panel only on this crash screen. Persist the best score, player name, selected hero, and local standings in browser localStorage. On every crash save the name, hero, score, and level, sort standings by highest score then highest level, and keep only five entries; show placeholder local entries if no standings exist. This is same-device pass-and-play standings, not online multiplayer. Include subtle animated particles and visual feedback, but do not add mechanics beyond those specified.
