Stickblade Arena was built by Fox Buddy with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Stickblade Arena opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a fullscreen 2D canvas fighting game titled "Stickblade Arena". Use a dark futuristic neon aesthetic: a deep navy-to-purple gradient background with scattered twinkling stars, a glowing cyan horizontal arena floor at about 72% screen height, a translucent blue/purple floor area below it with diagonal grid lines, and strong colored bloom/glow throughout. Keep the game responsive to viewport size and support mouse/touch as well as keyboard. The game is a one-on-one side-view duel. The player is NOVA, a cyan glowing stick figure on the left; the CPU opponent is VEX, a pink/red glowing stick figure on the right. Each fighter is made from simple bright round-ended line segments: circular head with a dark face/eye spot, torso, angled arms and legs, and a glowing sword held forward. Show a soft oval colored shadow beneath each fighter. Fighters stand on the arena floor, face the opponent, remain within roughly 70 pixels of the side boundaries, and cannot overlap closer than roughly 65 pixels. At the top, show two glowing horizontal health bars: NOVA at the upper left in cyan and VEX at the upper right in pink/red, each initially full at 100 HP, with their names above the bars. Center the title "STICKBLADE ARENA" in bold white/cyan-glowing text. During play show a large central announcer message such as "FIGHT!", "HIT!", "CLASH!", or "COMBO xN". At the bottom during play, provide large neon outlined touch buttons: left-side "◀ MOVE" and "MOVE ▶"; right-side white "ATTACK", yellow "BLOCK", and purple "DASH". Make them translucent dark panels with bright borders and glow. Start on an attract/title screen with the title "STICKBLADE" large in the center, the instruction "TAP / PRESS SPACE TO START", and a smaller controls line: "A D move • J attack • L block • W dash". A tap/click or any mapped key starts a match and displays "FIGHT!" briefly. Keyboard controls: A/Left Arrow move left, D/Right Arrow move right, J/K/Space attack, L/Shift block, and W/I dash. Touch zones should map to the visible bottom buttons; tapping also starts the game or rematches after defeat. Implement the actual combat rules. Both fighters have 100 maximum HP. NOVA is directly controlled; VEX automatically approaches when more than about 130 pixels away, blocks occasionally when within about 125 pixels, and attacks when within about 150 pixels with a short randomized timing. Movement accelerates and eases with friction. An attack has a short active duration and cooldown, reaches about 92 pixels, and deals 18 damage on a normal hit. A defender holding block and facing the attacker takes only 5 damage, receives a brief stun/knockback, and produces a "CLASH!" announcement; normal hits produce 18 damage, knockback, brief stun, score, and "HIT!" or a combo message. The player dash has a cooldown and propels the fighter strongly in the facing direction while emitting colored particles. Blocking displays a short white guard blade/line. Award score for successful combat: a normal hit gives 100 plus 20 times the current non-blocking combo count, while a blocked hit gives 10 and resets the combo. Track a persistent local best score, update it on player victory, and show score/best at game end. When either HP reaches zero, stop the fight and show an overlay with "VICTORY!" in yellow if VEX is defeated or "DEFEAT" in pink if NOVA is defeated, followed by "SCORE N • BEST N" and "TAP OR PRESS SPACE TO REMATCH". Reset both fighters and match state on rematch. Give attacks obvious visual feedback: extend the sword during an attack, draw a curved colored slash trail, add white and fighter-colored impact particles/sparks, briefly flash the screen, shake the camera, and apply a tiny hit-stop pause. Use glowing particle bursts for starting the match, dashes, hits, and victory. Animate stars subtly and scroll the diagonal floor-grid movement. Use crisp bold system sans-serif typography and canvas-rendered shapes only; no external images or assets.
