Snake by DapZ was built by Fauzi Dafa Alfa Rizky with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Snake by DapZ opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Recreate a polished responsive browser Snake game titled “Snake” with the byline “by DapZ”. Use a centered dark forest-green interface on a nearly black green radial-gradient page background. The main app is a rounded rectangular panel with a subtle green border and shadow, sized to fit roughly 96vw by 96vh with a maximum width around 620px. At the top, show the bright lime-green title “Snake” and small uppercase, letter-spaced muted-green text “BY DAPZ”. On the right, show two compact stat cards labeled SCORE and BEST, each with a large white numeric value; BEST persists across games using local storage. Below the header, center a status line initially reading “Eat the gold dots. Don't bite yourself.” The play area is a responsive square canvas, up to about 560px wide, with a dark green fill, rounded border, inner inset border, and shadow. Implement a 20 by 20 grid. Draw faint glowing-green grid lines. The snake starts centered horizontally around grid coordinates (10,10), with three cells extending left, and initially travels right. Draw the head as a light lime rounded square with a dark eye whose position indicates travel direction; draw the body as rounded green cells with subtly varying darker green shades toward the tail. Draw food as a small glowing gold/yellow-orange circular dot at a randomly selected unoccupied grid cell. Core gameplay: when the player starts, reset the snake to its three-cell starting shape, reset score to zero and speed to 145ms per movement step, place food randomly away from the snake, and move continuously on the 20x20 grid. Each food eaten increases score by one, lengthens the snake, relocates the food, and updates SCORE and BEST. Persist a new best score under the key dapzSnakeBest. After each 10 points, make the snake faster by reducing the step interval by 9ms per ten points, down to a minimum of 72ms. The player loses immediately if the head leaves the grid or enters any occupied snake cell; stop movement and show a centered overlay reading “Game over”, “Score: [score] · Best: [best]”, and a “Play again” button. Update the status to “That snake got tangled.” On first load and between games, place a dark translucent rounded overlay over the board with a green outline. It should show “Ready?” in large lime text, “Use arrows, WASD, or swipe.” in muted light-green text, and a bright lime rounded “Start game” button with a darker green pressed/shadow edge. Starting can happen by clicking that button, pressing a direction key, or tapping the board. While playing, support Arrow keys and WASD, and prevent instantly reversing into the snake by rejecting a direction directly opposite the current direction. Add mobile touch controls below the board in a compact 3-column arrangement: up arrow centered in the first row, then left, down, and right buttons in the second row. Buttons are dark green with green outlines and light arrow glyphs. Also support swipe gestures on the canvas. A tap on the board while paused resumes the game. Support Space to pause and resume. When paused, stop movement, retain the board, and set the status to “Paused — press Space or tap the board to resume.” On resume, set the status to “Back in the grass.” Keep the bottom hint visible on normal-sized screens: “Press Space to pause · Eat 10 dots to speed up”. Hide the hint on very short screens. Make the layout responsive for desktop and mobile, with touch-action disabled on the canvas and touch-friendly controls. Use a clean system sans-serif font, lime accent #7cf35b, muted green text, dark panel colors, gold food #ffcb45, and subtle glow effects. Include lightweight synthesized sound feedback if supported: a short rising tone on start, a higher tone when eating food, low tone when pausing, rising tone when resuming, and a descending crash sound on game over.
