Slime Hold was built by Fran (00) with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Slime Hold opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a responsive, single-screen 2D canvas tower-defense game titled “Slime Hold,” designed for desktop and touch screens with no scrolling. Use a dark forest-green background (#10251f) with a subtle 32px square grid. The camera is fixed top-down/flat 2D and the playfield fills the viewport. Layout the winding route responsively based on viewport dimensions: begin near the left edge at about 52% screen height, travel right to about 28% width, turn upward to about 28% height, travel right to about 64% width, turn downward to about 70% height, then travel right toward the right edge. Draw the route as a rounded, thick tan track: a pale gold/tan outer stroke approximately 48px wide and a darker brown inner stroke approximately 38px wide. At the route’s final endpoint, draw a glowing pale yellow-green diamond crystal just beyond the path. Place eight circular build pads at these normalized positions: (16%,34%), (16%,68%), (40%,40%), (42%,82%), (78%,40%), (80%,82%), (53%,52%), and (88%,52%). Empty pads are green circles with a bright yellow-green outline and a centered “+”. Clicking/tapping an empty pad builds a turret if the player has at least 40 gold. A built pad becomes a darker green circle with a pale blue outline and contains a compact blue turret: a dark blue rectangular base and a light-blue circular head. Each turret has a 125px attack radius shown as a very faint blue circle. The turret automatically targets the slime furthest along the route within range, fires about every 0.62 seconds, and creates a short-lived bright yellow tracer line from the turret to its target. Turret shots deal 12 damage. The player starts with Gold 120, Lives 10, and Wave 0. Show these in a rounded translucent dark HUD panel at the top-left, with a Pause button in a matching dark-green button at the top-right. Show temporary centered status messages below the top bar such as “Build your defenses,” “Turret built,” “Wave 1 incoming,” “A slime reached the crystal,” and “Wave 1 cleared! Bonus gold.” At the bottom center, show a rounded translucent build bar containing a lime button labeled “Turret · 40,” a lime button labeled “Start Wave 1” (or the next wave number), and the hint “Tap a green pad to build.” The turret selection button can simply display the build hint; tapping a pad is what performs construction. While a wave is active, the start button should read “Wave Running” and be disabled. Pause toggles to Resume and freezes gameplay. The game begins with a centered modal overlay over a dimmed playfield. The card is a translucent near-black green panel with a subtle light border and rounded corners. It displays the large title “Slime Hold,” the instructions “Place turrets on the glowing pads, then start each wave. Stop the slimes before they reach the crystal.” and a lime “Play” button. The top-center playfield heading can show “Defend the crystal” before play begins. Pressing Play hides the overlay and resets the game to the starting state. When the player starts a wave, increment the wave number and spawn 5 + (wave number × 3) green slimes from the left route entrance, one at a time. Spawn spacing starts near 0.95 seconds and becomes slightly faster with later waves, down to a minimum of about 0.34 seconds. Slimes move along the route toward the crystal at roughly 34 + (wave × 2) pixels/second plus a small random variation. Each slime has base health 32 + (wave × 12), a rounded blob-like lime-green body with a darker green underside/outline impression, two tiny dark eyes, a small dark shadow underneath, and a tiny health bar above it. Label each slime with the small white word “slime” below its body. Slime size begins around 13px radius and increases slightly with wave number, capped at roughly 18px. If a slime reaches the crystal, remove it and reduce Lives by 1. If Lives reaches zero, end the game and show the modal with title “The Slimes Broke Through,” text indicating how many waves were held and the score, and a “Play Again” button. Turrets killing slimes award gold and score: each slime reward is 8 + wave. When all spawned slimes are defeated and the wave is cleared, award bonus gold of 20 + (wave × 4), show the wave-cleared message, and allow the next wave to start. After wave 12 is cleared, end successfully with a modal titled “Hold Complete,” whose text says “You held [wave] waves and scored [score].” and whose button says “Play Again.” Use clean minimalist vector/canvas art, no external assets, soft glow effects only on the crystal and subtle UI shadows. Use system UI typography, bold white/light-green HUD text, lime-green primary buttons with dark green text, rounded 12–14px controls, and translucent dark panels. Keep all interactions pointer/touch friendly and preserve the responsive normalized layout on resize.
