Make your own game

Room Ideas was built by njdewitt13 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Room Ideas opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Room Ideas

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive, mobile-first interactive checklist web experience titled “Great Ideas for My Room,” presented as a printable black-and-white room-improvement planning sheet rather than an animated game. Use a white paper page centered on a light-gray desktop background, with Arial/Helvetica typography, nearly all-black ink, thin gray row dividers, and no illustrations except simple black line art. On narrow screens the white page fills the viewport with about 20px side padding; on wider screens it remains a clean full-width paper layout with generous margins.

At the top, show a thick black rectangular header border. Center the uppercase bold heading “ROOM SETUP IDEAS” (the reference screenshot shows the closely related visual heading “GREAT IDEAS FOR MY ROOM”), followed by the subtitle: “Making my room look modern on a super-small budget—without painting or changing the floor”. Beneath it, draw simple horizontal furniture line art in an SVG-like style: a low cabinet/desk with a small circular object, plus three boxy shelving units, all sitting on one baseline.

Below the header, place a centered outlined button labeled “Show gaming room list”. The default list is a one-column checklist table. Its header row has an empty checkbox column, “IDEA”, “PRIORITY”, “EST.”, and “SPENT”, with a strong bottom rule. Every item has an empty 20px square checkbox outline (these are visual checklist boxes), an idea label, a priority letter H/M/L, a budget estimate, and a spent field showing “$___”. Use compact rows with light gray separators. Make shopping-related idea text underlined and clickable, opening the corresponding shopping search/product page in a new browser tab; plain planning ideas are just text.

Include this default “room setup” list, in order, with the exact labels and values:
1. “Put a modern mirror on my bookshelf” — M — $7.82
2. “Keep gum or Tic Tacs in my bookbag” — L —
3. “Add a simple modern rug” — M — $5.98 4. “Put a modern wall hook on the blank wall” — L —
.98 5. “Find a secret spot for my cash” — L — $0 6. “Get a modern 4-foot folding table like this, aiming for about
5 (check cage fit)” — M —
5 7. “Move random stuff to the attic” — H — $0 8. “Add a clean modern floating shelf above my desk” — M — $7 9. “Get simple modern curtains” — M — $8 10. “Keep my current chair and add a modern black cushion” — M —
0 11. “Take down the Star Wars sign” — L — $0 12. “Deep-clean my room” — H — $0 13. “Add modern handles to the end table” — L — $4 14. “Pick a modern color theme” — L — $0 15. “Upgrade to a modern desk lamp or light” — M — $4 16. “Add a modern LED light strip behind my desk” — L — $6 17. “Hide the messy cables” — M — $3 18. “Get matching modern storage bins” — M — $4 19. “Add a couple of plants in modern planters” — L — $3 20. “Get simple modern matching bedding” — L —
0 21. “Make one organized modern display area with simple decor” — L — $0 22. “Clear out extra space around my furniture” — H — $0 For each row, show “$___” in the spent column. Under the list, show a two-sided totals bar reading “Cheapest modern plan estimated total:
01.78” and “Total actually spent: $________”. Add this note in small text: “Priority: H = do first M = next L = later | Use what you already have first, then choose simple black, gray, or white pieces. Shopping links open with the matching price range; prices can change with sales, tax, and shipping.” The list toggle must replace the default list with a second checklist titled “Fortnite-style gaming idea”, and change the toggle button text to “Show room setup list”. The gaming list has these rows and values: “Use a black, gray, purple, and blue color theme” — H — $0; “Add RGB lights behind the desk” — H — $6; “Set up a clean gaming desk area” — H — $0; “Add a large desk mat in a dark color” — M —
0; “Make a simple headset and controller station” — M — $5; “Use original battle-royale-style wall art—no official logos” — M — $8; “Add a floating shelf for gaming collectibles” — M — $7; “Hide every cable behind the desk” — H — $3; “Use matching black storage bins” — L — $4; “Add a small snack and drink spot” — L — $5; “Keep the gaming chair and add a cool black cushion” — M —
0; “Leave open floor space so the setup does not feel crowded” — H — $0. Its totals bar reads “Gaming room estimated total: $58” and “Total actually spent: $________”. Keep the same small priority/budget disclaimer below. At the bottom, add a thin ruled footer with “Room setup checklist” on the left and “Date: ____________” on the right. Below it place two bordered white buttons: “Print it”, which invokes the browser print dialog and hides the action buttons in print, and “Full screen view”, which switches the page into a fixed, viewport-filling focus mode, prevents body scrolling, and changes its label to “Exit full screen view”; clicking again restores the normal page. Preserve a print stylesheet that outputs only the paper checklist on a white letter-sized page. Keep the aesthetic strictly monochrome, practical, uncluttered, and document-like; do not add characters, rooms rendered in 3D, scoring, timers, sound, colors, drag-and-drop furniture, or invented game mechanics.
