Ridge Runner was built by Rajwinder singh with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Ridge Runner opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a responsive 2D side-view hill-climbing driving game titled “Ridge Runner,” rendered on a full-screen HTML canvas with a dark blue-to-warm sunset sky. The camera should smoothly follow the vehicle horizontally, keeping it around 28% from the left side of the screen, and gently follow its vertical movement. Add a glowing pale-yellow sun near the upper-right, three translucent blue atmospheric hill layers moving at different parallax rates, and a long procedurally shaped ridge made from connected rolling terrain points. The terrain should have a bright lime-green crest line, a green-to-deep-green body, and extend through a finite course toward a summit. The player controls a small stylized red-orange off-road car in profile. Draw a rounded red body, orange cabin/hood shape, dark blue windshield, yellow rear light, two large dark wheels with light gray hubs, and a soft shadow. The car has position, horizontal and vertical velocity, rotation angle, and air rotation velocity. Use simple physics: gravity pulls the car down, gas accelerates forward, brake accelerates backward/reverses, terrain slope affects motion, and the car lands against the terrain based on both wheels. While airborne, the two lean controls rotate the car in midair: left rotates counterclockwise and right rotates clockwise. On landing, smoothly align the car toward the terrain slope. Let the car travel forward and backward, with horizontal speed capped. If the car rotates beyond roughly 1.2 full radians in either direction, end the run. Scatter glowing, rotating yellow diamond coin pickups above portions of the ridge. Collect a coin when the car comes within about 48 pixels; increment the coin count and restore 8 fuel, up to a maximum of 100. Place occasional checkpoint marker poles with small yellow triangular flags; crossing each checkpoint restores 5 fuel. The vehicle consumes fuel only while gas is held, at about 4.5 fuel units per second. Start with 100 fuel, and end the run when fuel reaches zero. End normally when the car reaches the far end of the finite ridge, showing a summit completion result; otherwise show a ride-over result if the car flips or runs out of fuel. HUD styling: overlay the title “RIDGE RUNNER” in bold uppercase at top-left. At top-right show three translucent dark rounded statistic panels labeled DISTANCE, COINS, and AIR. Distance displays whole meters based on forward travel, coins displays the collected count, and air displays the car’s current rotation in degrees. At upper-left below the title, show a rounded horizontal fuel bar with a dark translucent track and a gradient from orange/red through yellow to green, shrinking as fuel is consumed. During the first six seconds show a centered translucent dark instruction card reading “Hold GAS to climb · BRAKE reverses” and beneath it “Left / Right also rotate in the air.” At the bottom, provide large translucent rounded touch buttons: on the lower-left, a left-arrow button labeled BRAKE and a right-arrow button labeled GAS; on the lower-right, counterclockwise and clockwise curved-arrow buttons both labeled LEAN. Buttons should support pointer/touch press-and-hold and visually depress when pressed. Also support keyboard controls: ArrowRight or D for gas, ArrowLeft or A for brake/reverse, W for clockwise/right lean, S for counterclockwise/left lean, and Space to restart. When the run ends, overlay a dark translucent screen and center a rounded dark-blue result card. Show either “Summit Reached!” when the course end is reached or “Ride Over” for failure, with text in the form “Distance [whole meters]m · [coin count] coins,” plus a full-width warm gradient “Ride Again” button that resets the vehicle, fuel, distance, coins, pickups, checkpoints, and camera. Keep the overall art style clean, colorful, minimalist, arcade-like, and softly glowing, with responsive layout for desktop and mobile screens.
