Make your own game

Observation Desk was built by jiyrcw_09867 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Observation Desk opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Observation Desk

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a polished, interactive browser game titled "Observation Desk" / "Night Shift: Observation Desk", presented as a dark sci-fi field-operations control-room dashboard for Sector 7. Use a responsive full-screen layout with a nearly black navy radial-gradient background, glassy navy panels, thin blue-gray borders, cyan highlights, green/amber/red status colors, rounded corners, and compact modern system-font typography.

The main screen is a control-room dashboard. Add a top bar with a cyan-to-indigo rounded square "OD" logo, the title "OBSERVATION DESK", subtitle "Field Operations • Sector 7", a green "● SYSTEMS LIVE" pill, and a live digital clock that displays hours, minutes, and seconds. Add a left Workspace sidebar with Overview selected, plus Subjects, Paperwork, and Notes navigation items; at the bottom show "Operator M. Rivera" and green "Clearance active". On small screens collapse the sidebar to icons or a horizontal nav.

In the main content, show the heading "Night shift control room" and subtitle "Monitor activity, complete reports, and keep the record clean." Provide buttons for "Pause shift", "⇢ Walk around", and a prominent gradient "+ New report". The pause button toggles to "Resume shift", pauses/resumes the shift timer/progress updates, and shows a small toast saying "Shift paused" or "Shift resumed".

Below the heading, show four KPI cards: Shift progress initially 42% with green "▲ 8% this hour"; Reports filed initially 18 with "+3 pending review"; Active subjects "06" with amber "2 need attention"; and Accuracy score "97.4" with green "▲ above target". While the shift is running, increment an internal timer and update the shift progress every 30 seconds, starting from 42% and capping it below 100 (the reference increments it by one point per 30 seconds).

Create a two-column content region. On the left, make a "LIVE OBSERVATION FEEDS" card labelled "4 channels connected", containing a 2x2 grid of four stylized surveillance-camera panels. Each feed should have a different muted blue/purple/green/olive abstract room gradient, subtle horizontal scanlines and diagonal light, a floor/wall line, and one or two black human silhouettes made from simple rounded head/body shapes. Every feed has a small red glowing dot and "REC" label. Label them exactly: "CAM 01 · NORTH HALL" with "Motion: low" and green "CLEAR"; "CAM 02 · COMMON ROOM" with two silhouettes, "Audio: elevated" and amber "WATCH"; "CAM 03 · WORKSHOP" with "Motion: active" and green "CLEAR"; and "CAM 04 · EAST CORRIDOR" with a smaller silhouette, "Door cycle: 03" and red "FLAGGED".

On the right, create a "SUBJECT ROSTER" card with a refresh button. Render six subject rows with initials avatars, names, ID/detail text, and colored status badges: Alex Mercer — S-014 · Common room · 12 min — Stable; June Park — S-021 · Workshop · active task — Working; Theo Grant — S-033 · East corridor · door cycle — Review (amber); Nia Brooks — S-047 · North hall · stationary — Stable; Owen Reed — S-052 · Common room · elevated audio — Watch (red); Mara Ellis — S-061 · Workshop · 7 min — Stable. The refresh button randomly reorders the roster and displays a "Roster refreshed" toast.

At the bottom, place two equal cards. The "PAPERWORK QUEUE" initially shows "3 open" and four clickable task rows: "Verify east corridor door log" already completed with a green checked box, struck-through text, and "filed"; "Complete Subject S-033 observation"; "Review audio spike at 22:08"; and "Archive previous shift notes", with the last three unchecked and amber "due soon" labels. Clicking an open task checks it, marks it filed/struck through, updates the open count, adds a timestamped "Task completed · ..." entry to the activity log, and shows "Task marked complete". The "ACTIVITY LOG" card is marked "auto-saved" and initially lists: 22:14 Auto-save completed, 22:11 Motion flag acknowledged · CAM 04, 22:08 Audio threshold exceeded · CAM 02, and 22:02 Shift handoff accepted. New entries appear at the top and show the current local HH:MM time.

The New report button opens a centered dark modal titled "New observation report" with a Subject dropdown populated by all six subjects, a Classification dropdown with Routine observation, Behavioral deviation, Environmental incident, and Equipment issue, and a Summary textarea with placeholder "Record what you observed...". Cancel closes it. File report increments Reports filed, uses "Routine observation filed" if the summary is empty, adds a log entry beginning "Report filed · " followed by the first 38 characters of the summary, closes the modal, clears the textarea, and shows "Report filed successfully".

Include a second playable mode called "Facility walkaround". The Walk around button opens a full-screen overlay with a top bar titled "Facility walkaround", subtitle "Explore the observation wing and check each room", and a "← Back to desk" close button. The walk stage is a dark blue radial-gradient space containing a centered outlined map with a cross-shaped central corridor, four outlined rooms positioned at the corners labelled NORTH HALL, COMMON ROOM, WORKSHOP, and EAST CORRIDOR, and a central glowing rectangular desk labelled CONTROL DESK. Place a glowing cyan circular player marker with a small directional triangle at its current position, initially centered at 50,50. Show the note "WASD / arrow keys · touch buttons on mobile".

Make walkaround movement the core mini-game interaction: W/A/S/D and arrow keys move the player marker in four directions by a small fixed step, clamped within roughly 8–92% horizontal and 10–90% vertical map bounds. Also provide a four-button touch D-pad with up/left/down/right arrows and support press-and-hold repetition on touch. Display a bottom-left HUD reading "Position" plus rounded x,y coordinates and a message. When near one of the four rooms (within roughly 18 coordinate units), change the message to "You are near the [room]. Press E to log an observation."; otherwise say "You are moving through the observation wing." Pressing E near a room adds "Walkaround observation logged" to the activity log and shows an observation-logged toast. Escape or the Back button returns to the dashboard. The reference build automatically opens walkaround mode shortly after load, so reproduce that behavior if possible, while retaining the dashboard and button access.

Use subtle hover states, glowing cyan accents, compact toasts at the lower right, responsive grids, and mobile layouts. Keep the game focused on monitoring, paperwork, report filing, and the simple room-navigation observation loop; do not add combat, enemies, inventory, or unrelated progression systems.
