Volley Rush was built by Oleksandr Hromenko with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Volley Rush opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a portrait-friendly 2D arcade volleyball game titled “Volley Rush.” Use a full-screen HTML canvas with a fixed side-on view of a simple volleyball court. The background is a bright, stylized sky: a vertical gradient from cyan/light blue at the top to warm pale orange near the bottom, with a few small white sparkle/dot particles. The lower portion is a flat sandy-orange court with a thin white boundary line at the top. A centered volleyball net divides the screen: a thin center post rising from the court, a white rectangular net outline, and a short white cap across its top. The player is a minimal bright-blue humanoid silhouette on the left side of the net, and the CPU opponent is a pink/red humanoid silhouette on the right. Each character consists of a circular head, a rectangular body, and simple white stick-like arms and legs; the opponent’s pose is horizontally mirrored. A glowing cream-white ball with a subtle gold outline and soft glow arcs between the two sides. On contact, create a brief burst of small square particles, using pale yellow particles for hits and pinkish particles when the ball lands. Gameplay is a one-on-one volleyball rally. The player can move only on the left half of the court, while the CPU stays on the right and tracks the ball. The player’s horizontal movement is fast and responsive, with screen-edge/half-court clamping. The player can jump, with gravity pulling the character back to the ground, and can hit the ball when close enough; a hit sends the ball toward the opponent with an upward launch. The CPU automatically moves toward the ball on its side, can jump when the ball is nearby and high enough, and automatically returns the ball when within range. The ball obeys gravity, bounces off the left and right screen edges, and is deflected by the net if it intersects the net near its top. A rally ends when the ball touches the court: award the point to the player if it lands on the CPU’s right half, or to the CPU if it lands on the player’s left half. Reset both players and serve a new ball after each point. Begin each serve with a short delay. The first side to reach 5 points wins the set. Stop gameplay at that point and show the centered overlay again with either “You win the set!” or “CPU takes the set.” and the final score, plus a “PLAY AGAIN” button that resets the score and starts a new set. Before starting, show a dark translucent full-screen overlay with a centered dark-blue rounded card, thin cyan border, soft blue glow, large white glowing “VOLLEY RUSH” heading, the text “Keep the ball in the air. First to 5 points wins.”, and a rounded warm yellow-to-pink gradient button labeled “SERVE.” Add a fixed HUD over the canvas. At the top, show “VOLLEY RUSH” on the left and “YOU 0 — 0 CPU” on the right, with the numeric score emphasized in warm yellow. At the bottom center show “A / D MOVE · W JUMP · SPACE HIT.” For touch devices, show four translucent rounded controls along the bottom: left and right arrow buttons grouped on the lower left, and an up-arrow jump button plus a sparkle/star hit button grouped on the lower right. Use keyboard controls A/D or Left/Right arrows to move, W or Up arrow to jump, Space to hit, and Enter to launch from the start screen. Keep the aesthetic clean, neon-accented, compact, and arcade-like, with responsive sizing for desktop and mobile screens. Do not add power-ups, lives, extra stages, character selection, or other mechanics beyond this single volleyball set.
