Create a responsive 2D browser game titled “Neon Plinko,” an idle-cash Plinko board rendered on a full-screen HTML canvas with a fixed HUD overlay. Use a dark navy-to-blue vertical gradient background, subtle 32px blue grid lines, crisp neon outlines, soft glow effects, and a futuristic arcade UI. The game should fit the viewport and rebuild its board layout on resize.

Layout and camera: show the whole board in a static, front-facing 2D view. Place a top HUD bar with a pink-to-purple glowing rounded-square logo containing a small white ring, the title “NEON PLINKO,” and a small “IDLE CASH LAB” subtitle. On the right side of the top bar show three dark translucent rounded stat cards: Balls, Cash, and Level. Below that, dock a dark blue translucent rounded “UPGRADE BOARD” panel on the upper-right, with the copy “Reinvest cash to make every cascade richer.” The playfield occupies the left and central area, leaving room for the panel. Draw a glowing blue rectangular board lane with a little extra border space. At the bottom center show a pill-shaped hint reading “TAP THE BOARD TO DROP A BALL”; at the bottom of the board label the row “MULTIPLIER CASCADE.”

Board: inside the bordered lane, arrange glowing circular neon pins in staggered rows. The base layout dynamically uses 7–10 rows based on board height; row 0 has 3 pins, row 1 has 4, and so on, with evenly spaced horizontal positions centered in the lane. Each pin is a small bright green/cyan glowing dot with a larger thin ring around it. Pin color reflects tier: base pins are green, tier 3 pins cyan, and tier 4+ pins purple. Above the board center, draw a pink dashed vertical drop guide and the label “DROP ZONE.” Along the bottom inside/below the lane, draw eight adjacent multiplier bins labeled exactly x0.6, x0.9, x1.3, x1.8, x2.6, x4.2, x7.5, and x12. The first bins are dark blue; the last two are somewhat greener/highlighted.

Core interaction: tapping/clicking the board drops one ball at the tapped horizontal position, clamped inside the board edges. Do not treat clicks on the right upgrade panel as drops. A drop is only allowed while availableBalls is greater than zero, and immediately subtracts one from the Balls counter. Balls spawn slightly above the top of the lane with a random horizontal velocity and downward velocity, then fall under gravity. Keep balls inside the left and right lane boundaries with damped bounces. When a falling ball comes within collision distance of a pin, push it away from the pin, reverse/dampen its vertical velocity so it bounces upward, alter horizontal velocity, and emit a few tiny matching glow particles. This should create a lively Plinko cascade through the staggered pin field.

Balls should be small, bright glowing circles in pink/magenta shades selected randomly from a pink palette. Put a white number inside each ball: display 128 for the lower-value ball and 512 for the higher-value ball. Assign each new ball a 50/50 random base value of 128 or 512, multiplied by the current profit boost internally. When a ball falls below the board, map its x position to one of the eight bins, using the bin multiplier. Award cash equal to the ball value times the selected multiplier times (1 + level * 0.08), rounded to a whole multiplier result and converted to millions; never award less than 
. Display the cash in compact format ($K, $M, $B, or $T), update the cash HUD, show a floating green “+$…” amount at the landing point, and emit a larger green burst of particles. Remove the scored ball. Idle behavior: at game start initialize cash to $3.4B, available balls to 17, level to 4, profit boost to 1, pin tier to 1, and no extra pins. Automatically queue three initial balls with staggered delays, so the board begins animating without a click. Each ball that reaches a bin schedules another ball after roughly 0.22–0.58 seconds, consuming from the available ball supply; if no balls remain, do not spawn more. This creates a limited automatic cascade while still allowing manual drops. Upgrade panel: include four full-width rounded buttons with name, description, and gold cost, and disable them when cash is insufficient. The buttons are: - “Add Ball” — “+1 available drop” —
20M. Purchasing subtracts the cost and adds one available ball. - “Ball Profit” — “+18% multiplier value” — $300M. Use hover/active feedback that slightly lifts the button and changes its border toward neon green; disabled controls are visibly faded. Effects and rendering: use glowing circles, green/pink/cyan/purple particle bursts, floating score text that fades and rises, and translucent panel shadows. Keep all gameplay and effects in the canvas animation loop with frame-rate-independent physics and a capped timestep. The UI should remain readable and responsive on smaller screens: reduce panel width and stat sizes, and in portrait mode append “ • ROTATE FOR THE FULL BOARD” to the bottom hint. Preserve the clean dark neon sci-fi style and do not add enemies, lives, weapons, levels beyond the displayed upgrade progression, or other mechanics not described here.
