Make your own game

Mission Agora was built by Abigail Nunes Santos with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Mission Agora opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Mission Agora

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a French-language top-down 2D exploration and investigation game titled “Mission Agora — Le mystère de l’entreprise.” Use a fixed 1280×720 logical canvas scaled responsively to the browser, with a clean, friendly educational office aesthetic: pale pastel room backgrounds, dark navy borders and doorways, simple geometric furniture, small cartoon characters, and a dark navy HUD. The game should be playable with keyboard arrows or WASD/ZQSD, and on mobile show a translucent four-direction touch pad at bottom left plus a large gold “A” action button at bottom right. The player moves freely in each room, collides with the outer walls and major furniture, and presses E or A near a character/object to interact. Show a top HUD with a white rounded “MISSION AGORA” brand card and current room name at left, the current objective and progress such as “0 / 5 défis” in the center, and buttons “Indices,” “Carte,” and a sound toggle at right. When close to something interactive, show a bottom hint like “A — examiner / parler.” Use modal white rounded panels over a translucent dark overlay for the start screen, dialogue, riddles, clues, map, inventory, and victory screen. Include temporary toast messages for feedback.

The opening modal must explain in French that a confidential document has disappeared and the player must explore offices, question employees, and solve riddles to discover the truth. Give buttons “JOUER,” “COMMANDES,” and “OBJECTIF.” The objective is to complete five challenges using organization and teamwork. Maintain progress state for five tasks: reception code, CEO file, archives, team investigation, and final vault; show the completed count out of five and update the objective as tasks advance. The “Indices” button opens a French investigation notebook listing completed challenges and collected clues. The “Carte” button opens a simple company layout: Accueil connected to Couloir, Couloir connected to CEO office, with Archives above and Réunion below, and the CEO office connected to the secret office. Explain that yellow passages are accessible doors.

Build six connected top-down rooms with these names, colors, furnishings, characters, and door connections. Room 1: “Salle 1 — Accueil,” mint/pale teal background, Lina the receptionist near a brown desk, a plant, and a printer; a door to the corridor. Room 2: “Couloir Agora,” pale blue background, an ORGANISER/COMMUNIQUER/COOPÉRER poster, bench, and plant; doors to reception, CEO office, archives above, and meeting room below. Room 3: “Salle 2 — Bureau du CEO,” pale lavender background, M. Vidal, a desk with computer, safe, and plant; corridor door and a right-side door to the secret room. Room 4: “Salle 3 — Archives,” pale cream/yellow background, three tall shelves, a box labeled “BOÎTE B,” and a cabinet; corridor door at the top/bottom connection. Room 5: “Salle 4 — Salle de réunion,” pale green background, Zoé (secretary), Nadir (assistant), and Clara (HR) around a meeting table, plus a board labeled “ÉQUIPE AGORA”; corridor door. Room 6: “Salle 5 — Bureau secret,” pale blue background, a large locked vault and a confidential paper; door back to the CEO office. Draw doors as yellow rectangular passage areas with a small “PASSAGE” label, and display the room title inside the playfield.

Use a simple cute player avatar: circular blue body, peach face, gold flat cap/hat, and a white star emblem, with a small shadow. NPCs should be colorful circular cartoon figures with emoji-like face/role symbols, shadows, and their names beneath them. Furniture should be simple hand-drawn geometric shapes: rounded brown desks/tables, shelves with colored books, plants with green leaves, blue computer screens, gray-blue safes/vaults with lock symbol, a cardboard box labeled “BOÎTE B,” board, poster, bench, and paper labeled “CONFIDENTIEL.”

Implement the exact investigation progression. First approach Lina and interact: show an input riddle saying she says, “Compte les lettres de équipe, ordre, accueil.” Accept answer “736” (case-insensitive); on success mark challenge 1 complete, add “Code 736 — accès Agora” to the notebook, and report “Défi 1 réussi !” The CEO’s computer opens a modal file titled “Fichier téléchargé : note_direction.txt” with a note saying to begin by ORGANISER the folders, that the document was moved after Monday’s meeting, and the secret word is ORGANISER. Acknowledge it to complete challenge 2 and add the direction file clue. The CEO may also explain that the document is in Boîte B after the file is read; the safe can ask for the file’s secret word ORGANISER. The printer can download a plain-text note_direction.txt containing the internal note and ORGANISER clue.

In Archives, interacting with “BOÎTE B” opens a multiple-choice ordering puzzle: “Choisis l’ordre logique : archiver, vérifier, classer.” Present three choices, with the correct one being “A Archiver → B Vérifier → C Classer” and internal answer sequence 231. On success mark challenge 3 complete, add “Code archives 231,” and show a success toast. The archive cabinet can accept code 231 and explain the trail leads to the meeting. The player must then talk individually to all three meeting-room NPCs. Zoé says she saw Nadir move a folder toward the archives and that he appeared to be classifying it, not hiding it. Nadir says he moved it to classify after the meeting, but his message was incomplete and created confusion. Clara says the message read “B avant A, mais C après B.” Track all three conversations; after all have been heard, mark challenge 4 complete, add “Témoignages recoupés — piste confirmée,” and explain that the testimonies agree. The poster can reiterate the three keywords: organize, communicate, cooperate.

Only after the CEO file is read should the passage from the CEO office to the secret room be unlocked; otherwise show a toast that the secret door is locked and the player is returned from the doorway. In the secret room, interacting with the vault before all three testimonies are heard must say it is locked and the player must speak to the whole team. After challenge 4, the vault opens a final input riddle asking “Quel mot résume la solution de l’enquête ?” and accepts “COOPÉRER” (case-insensitive, allowing the accented French answer). On success mark challenge 5 complete, add “Document confidentiel retrouvé,” and show a victory modal: “Mission accomplie !” Explain that the document was not stolen: Nadir moved it to classify it, and an incomplete message caused the confusion; the case was solved through organization, communication, and teamwork. Include a “REJOUER” button that reloads/resets the game. Interactions that are too far away should give a toast asking the player to approach a character or object, and incorrect puzzle answers should show a French “Mauvaise réponse” or “Presque !” message with a clue to reread the hint. Support Escape to close open modals, I for notebook, M for map, and a sound button that toggles between speaker-on and speaker-off icons (visual toggle/feedback is sufficient).
