Make your own game

Lomba 17 Agustus was built by robot ular with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Lomba 17 Agustus opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Lomba 17 Agustus

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive 2D canvas arcade game titled “Lomba 17 Agustus,” themed around an Indonesian Independence Day celebration. Use a portrait-friendly/full-height play area centered on the page, capped at about 900px wide and 760px tall on larger screens, with a light cream page background. Render a bright, simple flat/cartoon scene: the upper 54% is a pale blue sky with three soft white clustered clouds and a yellow sun near the upper-right; add a repeated row of small Indonesian red-and-white vertical pennants near the horizon. The lower area is green grass, with a wide beige dirt track across roughly the middle/lower section and evenly spaced small brown circular stones/dots on it, plus simple darker-green triangular grass/trees along the horizon and at the bottom edge.

The player is a cute stylized brown catcher/basket character near the bottom of the playfield. Draw a dark-brown oval shadow/base, a rounded tan-brown horizontal body about 86px wide, two large white eyes with black pupils, a small curved smile, and a red-and-white semicircle cap on top. The player stays at a fixed vertical position near the bottom and can move only horizontally. Keep the player within side margins (about 45px), with smooth movement toward a target horizontal position.

The core mechanic is catching falling Indonesian flags. Spawn small waving red-and-white flags from random horizontal positions near the top at an initially moderate interval (about every 0.75 seconds, decreasing toward a minimum of 0.28 seconds as time passes). Each flag consists of a thin brown pole and a two-part red-over-white waving pennant, with slight rotation and sinusoidal wobble. Flags fall downward, and their vertical speed starts around 130px/s and increases over time up to an additional 170px/s. If a falling flag overlaps the catcher horizontally and reaches its vertical collision band, remove it and add 1 to the score. If it falls below the screen, remove it and lose one of three lives. End the round when all three lives are lost.

At the top, overlay a HUD that does not block gameplay: a rounded dark red translucent badge at top-left reading “🇮🇩 LOMBA 17 AGUSTUS” in bold white text, and a matching top-right badge reading “Skor: 0” with the live score. While playing, show the remaining lives as repeated red heart symbols near the upper-left below the title. On the initial screen, show the centered dark-red text “Tangkap Bendera!” with a white shadow and a red button labeled “Mulai Lomba” below it. Hide this start message and button once the game begins. At the bottom center, show a dark translucent rounded hint pill reading “Gerakkan keranjang dengan jari atau tombol ← →”. Support keyboard ArrowLeft/ArrowRight (also A/D) for movement, and pointer/touch input on the canvas: tapping or dragging sets the catcher’s horizontal target position. Pressing Space while not running should also start the game.

Starting a game resets score to 0, lives to 3, elapsed time and falling flags, and changes the button to hidden. On game over, stop updates and show a centered result message “Selesai!” with a smaller line “Skor kamu: [score]”, and reveal the same start button relabeled “Main Lagi.” Use bold system-style typography, rounded badges/buttons, red/white/green/brown colors, and an approachable minimal vector-art look. Maintain the responsive canvas scaling for device pixel ratio and the full-height/mobile layout.
