Last Light was built by CSE205 MOHAMMED SHAKEEN S with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Last Light opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a 2D top-down survival shooter titled “Last Light,” rendered in an HTML canvas that fills the viewport. Use a very dark blue-black/green palette: nearly black background, a dim green-black playfield below the HUD, faint 40px grid lines, muted green rectangular obstacles with darker offset shadows and thin green outlines, pale mint player and bullets, and subdued green enemies. Keep the presentation minimalist, atmospheric, and highly readable on desktop and mobile. At launch show a centered dark translucent start overlay with a soft radial green-black glow, rounded bordered card, large spaced uppercase title “LAST LIGHT,” explanatory text: “Survive the night with a weak flashlight and twelve rounds. The dark hides what is coming. Keep moving, use your light, and make every shot count.”, a mint button labeled “ENTER THE DARK,” and a small control hint “Desktop: WASD + mouse · Mobile: touch controls.” Starting the game hides this overlay, places the player at the center, resets health to 100, ammo to 12, score to 0, elapsed time to 0:00, flashlight on with 100% energy, and creates several random rectangular obstacles away from the center. The core game is continuous survival. The player is a small pale mint circular character with a short green gun barrel extending in the direction they face. Aim with the mouse cursor; show a small faint circular reticle centered at the cursor/screen center on desktop. Move with WASD or arrow keys, with normalized diagonal movement, preventing the player from leaving the screen and preventing movement through rectangular obstacles. On touch devices, show a bottom-left circular four-button D-pad (up/left/down/right) and bottom-right circular flashlight and fire buttons. The player moves at roughly 190 pixels per second. Enemies are simple round green zombie-like threats that spawn just outside a random edge of the viewport and move toward the player, with gradually increasing speed over time. Draw each as a muted green circle with two pale eyes and a dark horizontal mouth; briefly tint it peach when hit. They have 2 health and require two bullets to kill. If a zombie reaches the player, continuously damage health at about 15 per second. When health reaches zero, stop the game and show the overlay again with heading “THE DARK WINS,” text stating how long the player survived and how many threats they dropped, and a “TRY AGAIN” button. Fire with mouse click, Space, or the mobile fire button. Each shot consumes one round, has a short 0.22 second cooldown, and sends a small bright mint projectile in the current aim direction at high speed. Add a brief five-particle muzzle spark burst. Bullets disappear on impact or after traveling offscreen/expiring. Show short status messages in a bottom-left panel such as “Make it count.”, “No rounds left.”, and “One less in the dark.” There is no reload system, so the initial twelve rounds are all the ammunition. The flashlight is the defining mechanic. Toggle it with F on desktop or the sun/flashlight mobile button. While on, drain energy at about 3% per second; when energy reaches zero, automatically turn it off. While off, recharge slowly at about 1.2% per second. Keep a minimum energy bump when toggled so it can be turned back on briefly. Visually make the world mostly obscured by a heavy black darkness mask, while the flashlight creates a circular illuminated area around the player plus a forward-facing cone in the aim direction. The light radius depends on remaining energy, and the cone should reveal what is ahead; use canvas compositing/gradients to create the soft-edged darkness. The player and nearby game objects should be visible through the lit region. The darkness should make the green obstacles and approaching zombies emerge from the black. HUD should be fixed above the canvas with pointer events disabled. At the top-left place a translucent rounded panel showing uppercase labels and large mint values for AMMO, THREATS (the current living enemy count), and TIME. At top-right place a matching panel reading “FLASHLIGHT” and a status such as “ON 100%” or “OFF,” with on-state green and off-state red styling. Show the time as minutes and zero-padded seconds. At bottom-left show a translucent rounded message panel. At bottom-right show a matching panel reading “Health” and the current health value, turning danger/red when health is below 35. Use thin low-opacity green borders, subtle shadowing, rounded corners, uppercase letter spacing, and a modern system sans-serif font. On narrow/touch layouts, simplify the HUD spacing and hide desktop instructions/reticle while keeping the D-pad and action controls visible. Ensure the play area starts below the top HUD band and preserve the stark dark atmosphere throughout.
