High Card War was built by Nicolas Diaz with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix High Card War opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a responsive browser card game titled “High Card War.” It is a single-screen, playable high-card comparison game on a dark emerald-green casino felt background with a subtle radial highlight at the top. Use an elegant Georgia/Times-style serif visual design, cream-white text, muted gray secondary text, and warm gold accents. Layout: Keep the app full viewport height with generous responsive padding. At the top, show a small uppercase, letter-spaced gold brand label “HIGH CARD WAR” on the left and “Round 0” on the right. Center the main content vertically. Show the large centered headline “Who has the higher card?” and beneath it the subtitle “Draw a card and beat the dealer.” The central table is a three-column layout: a “You” side on the left, a circular dark translucent “VS” badge in the middle, and a “Dealer” side on the right. Each side has a labeled playing-card area and a gold score underneath initially reading “Wins 0.” Cards should be tall rounded rectangles with a cream border/background and a soft dark drop shadow. Before a draw, both cards show a dark blue-gray diagonal striped card back with a thick cream border and a centered gold star symbol. On reveal, show a randomly generated standard card rank and suit as a compact centered label such as “10♥”, “Q♣”, or “A♠”; hearts and diamonds are red, while clubs and spades are dark. Use ranks 2 through 10, J, Q, K, A, with aces high. Suits are hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. Card dimensions should scale responsively while remaining usable on mobile. Core mechanic: The player presses “Draw Cards” to generate one random card for the player and one random card for the dealer. Compare only rank values: 2 is lowest, then through 10, J=11, Q=12, K=13, and A=14; suits do not affect the result. Start at round 0 with player wins 0, dealer wins 0, and ties 0. When drawing, disable the draw button, change the message to “Cards in the air…”, and reset both displays to card backs. Reveal the player card after about 180ms, reveal the dealer card after about 420ms, and resolve the round after about 780ms. Reveals should animate in with a short deal animation: fade in while moving down from slightly above, rotating a few degrees and scaling up to normal. Once resolved, increment the round and update the HUD. If the player rank is higher, increment player wins and show “You win with [rank][suit]!” using the actual card. If the dealer rank is higher, increment dealer wins and show “Dealer wins with [rank][suit].” If ranks tie, increment the hidden/internal tie counter and show “War! Both drew [rank]. Draw again!”; there is no separate war sequence, so the next draw is simply another round. Re-enable the draw button after resolution. Below the table, show a large bold gold status message, initially “Ready for the first draw?”. Below that, place centered pill-shaped controls: a prominent gold “Draw Cards” button with a darker gold pressed shadow and a secondary translucent “New Game” button with a subtle light border. “New Game” resets the round, both win scores, tie count, both cards to their backs, the status message to “Ready for the first draw?”, and enables drawing. Include the hint text “Ties go to war — draw again until someone wins.” and a small footer reading “Highest card wins · Aces are high”. Support keyboard controls: Space or Enter performs a draw (prevent default behavior), and R starts a new game. Ignore draw attempts while the timed reveal/resolution is busy. Make buttons touch-friendly, rounded, responsive, and provide hover/active/disabled visual states. On narrow screens, reduce card sizes and the VS badge while preserving the three-column table. Keep the design clean and uncluttered, with no extra game modes, betting, deck tracking, lives, or inventory.
