Make your own game

Gatohechizos was built by julio bustos zarate with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Gatohechizos opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Gatohechizos

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Recreate “Gatohechizos” as a browser-based 2D side-view fighting game on a responsive full-screen canvas, with a fixed logical playfield of about 1100x650 scaled to fit the window. The game is a one-round duel between two stylized magical cats: the player cat MISHI on the left (cool pale gray/lavender body with blue-gray accent details) and the CPU cat GATURÓN on the right (lavender body with dark mauve accents). Keep the visual style cute, polished, and arcade-like: thick dark-purple outlines, rounded cartoon anatomy, very large expressive cat heads, tall pointed ears, curled tails, short legs and oversized paws, pink cheeks, white whiskers, slit pupils, tiny fangs, subtle fur hatch marks, soft gradients and shadows. The arena background should be a twilight fantasy landscape: a deep indigo-to-purple-to-peach gradient sky, a crescent moon and small stars, drifting translucent magical cloud puffs, distant purple hills, and a horizontal purple stone/striped arena floor near the bottom.

Core gameplay is real-time fighting. Start with Mishi around x=245 and Gaturón around x=855 on a horizontal floor, each with 100 HP and 100 power. Characters can move horizontally, jump, face their opponent, attack, block, counter, spin, and fire a charged special. Clamp fighters to the arena bounds and use gravity with a grounded floor. The CPU should automatically approach when far away, sometimes jump, block incoming close attacks, use regular attacks, spin attacks, and shoot its special when at range.

Keyboard controls: A/D move left and right, W jump, J normal paw attack, E spinning attack, L hold to block, and K fire the special power. Preserve the touch controls visible at the bottom for mobile: left arrow, right arrow, up arrow, J, a button labeled with a blue spiral and “E”, a shield “L”, and a pink/purple “✨ K” power button. Show the Spanish tutorial hint: “A/D moverte · E giro · L bloquear · suelta L + J contraataque · J-J-J combo”. A normal J attack chains for the player into a three-step J-J-J combo while its short combo timer remains active; the third hit is stronger and has a wider effect. Attacking while airborne produces an aerial attack, and a blocked hit gives the defender a brief counter-ready window. Releasing block and pressing J during that window performs a stronger counterattack with brief slow motion and knockback.

The E spin is a short cooldown attack that lunges forward, spins the cat visually, and damages nearby opponents; blocked spin damage is reduced and can enable a counter. Power regenerates gradually over time. When the power meter reaches full, pressing K launches a glowing projectile in the cat’s facing direction. Normal specials are golden/yellow with pink centers and deal significant damage; if the player has an active combo (at least two combo steps), K launches a larger pink/purple “SUPER” projectile with higher damage. Projectiles travel horizontally, have a limited lifetime, create bright particle bursts on impact, and can be blocked for reduced damage. Use hit flash, screen shake, impact sounds, colorful particle bursts, and brief “CÁMARA LENTA” overlays for strong hits/counters. When an attack reduces a fighter to zero HP, trigger a short “¡REMATE FINAL!” slow-motion finisher: the attacker advances, the defeated target is launched/marked, golden particles and pink/gold circular magical arcs appear, then end the round.

HUD must be prominent and Spanish-styled. At the top, put a dark translucent rounded panel with a thick subtle border: “MISHI”, a cyan-to-blue health bar, centered “VS”, an orange/pink health bar, and “GATURÓN”. Beneath it, use another rounded dark panel with “PODER” on both sides, a yellow-to-orange player power bar, a gold sparkle between the bars, and a purple-to-magenta CPU power bar. Center the animated title “GATOHECHIZOS” over/near the power row in large bold white lettering with a dark purple shadow; it gently bounces/rotates. Bars should visibly drain on damage and refill for power. Above a fighter with full power show “ESPECIAL LISTO”; with partial power show a small orbiting gold sparkle. During attacks, show readable Spanish labels such as “COMBO x1/x2/x3”, “AÉREO”, “ATAQUE GIRATORIO”, “CONTRAATAQUE”, “PODER ESPECIAL”, “SUPER COMBO”, or “REMATE FINAL” near the relevant cat, matching the attack’s color.

Draw animated characters with idle bobbing, walking leg/arm movement, attack lunges and paw trails, blocking crossed arms plus a cyan semicircular shield arc, airborne poses, hit flashes, and a celebratory victory pose with raised paws and a happy open-mouth expression. Use golden, white, cyan, pink, and purple effects for attacks and magic. On defeat, darken the whole arena with a translucent overlay and show a large pulsing pink “K.O.”, then “MISHI GANA” or “GATURÓN GANA” and the line “Poderes felinos desbloqueados”. Display a centered “JUGAR OTRA VEZ” button that resets both fighters, health, power, particles, projectiles, timers, and the winner state. Include looping battle music started after user interaction and punch/impact plus knockout sounds, while allowing browser autoplay restrictions to fail gracefully.
