Neon Coil was built by Pepper Time with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Neon Coil opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a playable browser game titled “Neon Coil,” a neon arcade Snake game viewed from a fixed top-down, square playfield. Use a 600x600 logical canvas divided into a 24x24 grid, centered in a dark responsive layout. The visual style is futuristic synthwave: nearly black/navy-purple background with a subtle radial purple glow, thin dim violet grid lines, a purple glowing border, and strong colored bloom around gameplay objects. Above the board, show the magenta, widely letter-spaced title “NEON COIL.” In the upper-right HUD show SCORE with a cyan value and SPEED with a cyan multiplier value, initially 0 and 1.0x. The player controls a four-cell snake initially positioned horizontally around the lower-middle of the grid at cells (12,13), (11,13), (10,13), and (9,13), moving right automatically. The head is a bright cyan square with a small white glint/highlight; the body is a connected row of slightly inset glowing square segments in progressively cooler blue/cyan hues. Movement is discrete grid-cell movement, with an initial interval of 0.18 seconds per step. Steer using Arrow keys or WASD, and also provide four visible touch buttons below the board (up, left, down, right) with arrow glyphs. Support swipe gestures on the canvas: a horizontal or vertical swipe of at least about 18 pixels changes direction based on the dominant axis. Do not allow an immediate 180-degree reversal relative to the current direction. Place one collectible glowing yellow square “core” on a random unoccupied grid cell. It should be a small yellow-gold square with a bright pale center and yellow bloom; the initial visual/reference state places it to the right of the snake around cell (17,13), though subsequent runs should randomize it. When the snake’s head enters the core, increase score by 10, grow the snake by leaving its new tail segment in place, spawn another core at a random unoccupied cell, and increase speed: speed is 1 plus the smaller of 2.8 and score/100, so it rises to a maximum of 3.8x. The movement interval is 0.18 divided by the speed multiplier. Render a softly pulsing white highlight on the head. The run ends immediately if the next head cell goes outside the 24x24 board or overlaps any existing snake segment. On game over, stop movement and show a centered modal overlay reading “RUN ENDED,” with text in the form “Score [score] · Length [snake length]. Press Enter or tap restart to coil up again.” and a button labeled “RESTART.” Pressing Enter or tapping the button starts a fresh run. At the initial load, show the same centered dark translucent modal card with purple border/glow, title “NEON COIL,” explanatory text “Eat the glowing cores. Every core makes you longer — and faster.” and a “START RUN” button; the board can remain visible behind it in its initial stopped state. Keep the page responsive: use a centered layout with title/HUD above, square board in the middle, hint text and touch pad below. The hint should read “Arrow keys / WASD or swipe to steer · Enter to restart.” Use a dark purple-black modal/card, magenta headings, lavender body text, cyan HUD, violet controls, and neon bloom created with canvas shadows/glows. There are no enemies, walls inside the board, weapons, lives, timer, camera motion, or additional power-ups; the only hazards are the board edges and the snake’s own body, and the only collectible is the glowing core.
