Make your own game

Double Rally was built with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Double Rally opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Double Rally

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a responsive 2D neon Pong-style game titled "Double Rally". Use a dark navy full-screen background with a subtle vertical gradient, and center a large rectangular playing table occupying about 88% of the viewport width, beginning below the top HUD and extending roughly two-thirds of the viewport height. The table has a dark blue gradient fill, a thin cyan translucent border, and a bright pale-cyan vertical center net with a darker backing extending slightly beyond the table edges; also draw a faint dashed center line. Keep the camera fixed in a straight-on top/front view with no scrolling.

There are two glowing vertical rounded paddles inside the table: a cyan paddle on the left and a coral/orange paddle on the right. Each is about 18 px wide and 86 px tall at the reference size, with strong matching neon glow and rounded ends. A small white glowing ball moves between them. The ball starts at the center with a randomized launch direction toward either side and a randomized vertical angle. It bounces off the top and bottom table boundaries. A paddle successfully returns the ball when it overlaps the paddle's vertical span; reverse its horizontal velocity, increase its horizontal speed slightly (about 4%), and alter vertical velocity based on where the ball struck relative to the paddle center. If the ball exits beyond the left edge, award a point to the right; if it exits beyond the right edge, award a point to the left. Reset the ball at center after each point, launching toward the player who lost the point. First player to reach 7 points wins, then pause the game and show the winner overlay with a replay button.

The game is a local two-player match. On desktop, control the left paddle with W to move up and S to move down, and the right paddle with Arrow Up and Arrow Down. On touch/coarse-pointer devices, show large translucent rounded-square controls near the bottom left and bottom right: up and down triangle buttons for each player, with the down buttons placed above the up buttons as in the reference layout. Movement should be continuous while a key or pointer button is held, and paddles must remain inside the table. Use responsive canvas sizing and cap the playfield height similarly to a wide desktop game; scale ball radius and layout with viewport size.

The HUD should be HTML/CSS over the canvas: centered uppercase spaced title "DOUBLE RALLY" in pale cyan at the top, a very large bright white score formatted as left score, a long dash, and right score beneath it, and a pause button in the upper-right shown as a rounded translucent cyan-outlined button with the symbol "Ⅱ". Show centered help text near the bottom reading "왼쪽: W / S · 오른쪽: ↑ / ↓" in muted blue-gray (move it upward on touch devices so it does not overlap touch controls). On initial load, pause the game and display a centered dark translucent modal with rounded corners, cyan border, and shadow: heading "DOUBLE RALLY", Korean instruction "두 라켓으로 공을 받아내세요", and a cyan "시작하기" button. Starting hides the modal and resets the score. The pause button toggles gameplay and changes to a play triangle when paused; the pause modal should say "PAUSED" and "계속하려면 버튼을 누르세요", with a continue button. At match end, show either "왼쪽 승리!" or "오른쪽 승리!", the text "다시 한 판 해볼까요?", and a "다시 시작" button.

Use a polished minimalist arcade visual style: nearly black navy outer background, blue table, cyan/orange neon paddles, white glowing ball, pale-cyan net, soft bloom-like shadows, high-contrast white HUD typography, and rounded translucent glass-like controls. Keep all gameplay and UI contained within the viewport without page scrolling.
