Demon Pawnshop was built by StyleDish games with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Demon Pawnshop opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-based supernatural pawnshop management game titled "Demon Pawnshop". Use a dark, atmospheric Three.js 3D scene as the background with a first-person/oblique view of a small pawnshop: a nearly black floor and back wall, three long shelves on the rear wall holding scattered small floating geometric objects, a chunky dark counter in the foreground, a glowing purple ring/sigil on the counter, and a shadowy customer represented by a dark orb/silhouette standing behind the counter. On the counter, display the current cursed object as a slowly floating and rotating torus-knot-like artifact with a colored glow: green for low curse (below 35), violet for medium curse (35–69), and red for high curse (70+). Add dim purple/white lighting, fog, emissive glow, shadows, and subtle ambient motion. Let the player drag the 3D scene to rotate the camera only slightly horizontally/vertically; do not provide zoom or pan. Overlay the scene with a responsive translucent near-black/purple HUD using rounded cards, thin dark-purple borders, pale lavender text, uppercase spaced labels, and monospace text for descriptions and the ledger. At the top show five stats: Money (formatted as currency), Corruption (0–100), Reputation (0–100), Day, and remaining Time in seconds. Begin a new game with Money20, Corruption 12, Reputation 50, Day 1, and a 90-second real-time day. Corruption slowly drifts upward at about 0.015 per second. There is no default idle income, although kept artifacts can grant it. The central decision loop is: customers arrive about every 10 seconds and each brings one procedurally generated supernatural item; maintain a queue of up to six and show one current customer at the counter, with up to two queued customers prepared. Use atmospheric customer descriptions such as a traveler saying an object followed them home, a child-sized coat walking in by itself, or a priest with shaking hands. Generate named artifacts including Mirror of Borrowed Faces, Bell That Rings Underwater, Lantern of Second Shadows, Wristwatch Set to Tomorrow, Doll With Two Heartbeats, Key That Opens Dreams, Wedding Ring of the Unwed, Teacup That Remembers Screams, Book of Unfinished Names, and Coin That Refuses Pockets. Each item has Common/Unusual/Rare rarity, a base value, hidden curse from 0–100, and a revealed flag. Higher shop corruption should increase average curse while reputation slightly reduces it. Rarity should be weighted approximately Common 62%, Unusual 28%, Rare 10%, with Unusual and Rare increasing base value. Show a Customer card with the customer's atmospheric line and an Item card with the item name. Before inspection, show its rarity and "The aura is unreadable." After inspection, show rarity, currency value, and Curse as a number out of 100. Provide action buttons: - Inspect: reveal value and curse, add 1 corruption, and grant +1 reputation if the curse is below 35. If already inspected, only log that its secrets are already known. - Cleanse: costs money, with a cost based on curse and rarity (minimum0); reduce curse substantially, reduce corruption based on the previous curse, and add +2 reputation. Cleansing is disabled when the player cannot afford it. Make low-corruption shops somewhat more effective at cleansing. - Resell: pay the player the item's base value multiplied by 1 + curse/150, then increase corruption by roughly 1 + curse/12 and reduce reputation according to curse. Selling without inspecting should additionally reduce reputation by 2 and log a warning. Finish and remove the customer after sale. - Keep: add the item to a Kept Artifacts collection, immediately increase corruption by roughly 3 + curse/18, and randomly grant one passive perk: +$0.35 per second idle income, -0.01 corruption drift per second, or +5 reputation. Finish and remove the customer. After any completed sale or keep, bring in the next queued customer when appropriate. Include a Next Customer button and Space keyboard shortcut; if no customer is waiting it does nothing. Include Save (S), and Reset (R) with a confirmation dialog that wipes local storage and resets the shop. Autosave the game state every 10 seconds and load it on startup. Use a first click or keypress to initialize browser audio, then play short synthesized tones: a high ping for Inspect, descending notes for Cleanse, a bright cash-like chord for Resell, a low ominous note for Keep, and a longer chord for night events. Include an Actions card with the four main buttons, a second row for Next Customer (Space), Save (S), and Reset (R), plus a hint such as "Reselling cursed junk makes money fast — but the town remembers." Include a scrolling Ledger card showing recent timestamped day logs with colored good/bad/dim tones, and a Kept Artifacts card listing each retained object's name, rarity, curse, and perk; initially show that the shelf is empty. Start with an ominous opening log about unlocking the shop and the air tasting like old lightning. When the 90-second day ends, pause the simulation and show a centered modal night-event overlay with a title, narrative monospace text, and Continue button. Choose an event based on corruption: at 0–30 show "A Quiet Night" (+3 reputation, -2 corruption); at 25–65 show "A Familiar Customer" (+$40, +1 reputation); at 55–100 show "The Town Listens" (+$80, +4 corruption, -2 reputation); at 80–100 show "A Crack in the Back Room" (+40, +9 corruption). At corruption above 40, sometimes favor a darker eligible event. On Continue, apply the event, play the event tone, increment the day, reset the timer to 90 seconds, apply a small reputation bonus at low corruption or penalty at high corruption, log the new day, and resume play. Keep the visual style minimal, eerie, neon-occult, and text-heavy, with responsive layout that stacks cards on narrow screens.More free browser games
