Defenders Runner was built by Carl with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Defenders Runner opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a portrait-friendly full-screen 2D canvas endless runner titled “Defenders Runner,” presented with a dark, fiery superhero/action aesthetic. The player runs in place down a straight three-lane road through a burning city implied by a nearly black background and a soft orange radial glow centered behind the playfield; do not add detailed city sprites that are not present. Use a canvas sized to the browser viewport. The road occupies the middle 60% of the screen (from 20% to 80% width), is dark gray (#202020), and has two thick gray lane divider lines at 40% and 60% of the viewport width, creating three lanes. Place the player at the bottom of the road, initially in the center lane, with a simple 60x90 upright rectangular character. In the normal Magma Man Mode, render the body bright orange/red with a strong orange glow and two small white square eyes. Continuously emit small orange circular particles from beneath/behind the runner as a fiery trail, with particles drifting and fading; cap the active particle count around 150. The core loop is an endless obstacle-avoidance runner. Spawn one obstacle approximately once per second in a randomly selected one of the three lanes at the top of the screen. Obstacles move straight downward toward the player, with each obstacle 60x60. Randomly make each obstacle either a villain (dark red square with red glow) or a barrier (plain gray square). The player does not attack; survive by changing lanes and jumping over obstacles. Collision between the player rectangle and an obstacle immediately ends the run. When an obstacle passes below the bottom of the viewport, remove it and award 10 points. Gradually increase downward movement speed over time, starting at speed 8 and adding a small amount continuously, so the game becomes harder the longer the player survives. Controls must work on keyboard and mobile. Left Arrow or A moves one lane left, Right Arrow or D moves one lane right, with the player clamped to the three lanes. Up Arrow, W, or Space makes the player jump only when not already airborne. Use simple physics: jump velocity starts around -18, gravity is about 0.8 per frame, and the player lands back at a fixed baseline near 180 pixels above the bottom of the viewport. Lane changes are immediate rather than animated. Provide mobile on-screen controls along the bottom: three large dark circular buttons with subtle borders, labeled with white left-arrow, up-arrow, and right-arrow symbols; tapping them triggers lane-left, jump, and lane-right respectively. Show a HUD at the upper left with large bold text “Score: 0” (updating to the integer score) and a mode label beneath it. Before starting, show a start overlay over the dark road/background with the glowing orange title “THE DEFENDERS,” the subtitle “Run through the burning city and defeat villains.”, and a large rounded orange “START GAME” button. Hide the mobile controls while on the start screen. Starting resets score, speed, player position, obstacles, particles, and mode, then reveals the controls and begins the animation loop. At 1000 points, unlock Defenders Mode: change the mode label to “THE DEFENDERS MODE UNLOCKED,” change the player body/glow from orange to cyan/blue, and change the particle trail to cyan, while obstacles and rules remain the same. On collision, stop the animation, hide the mobile controls, and show a game-over overlay with the final integer score and a restart button that resets and starts a fresh run. Keep the styling minimal and high contrast: black/dark background, gray road and dividers, glowing orange normal mode, red villain obstacles, gray barriers, and cyan unlocked mode. Include no health, lives, weapons, collectibles, attacks, or extra enemy behavior beyond the lane obstacles and jump/collision rules described above.
