Click the game above and it runs right here in your browser. No download, no installer, no account needed. Cayden built it with Cinevva, so it works on a phone or a tablet too.
Nobody has said anything about Caie yet. Play it, then tell Cayden what you would add next.
Caie was built by Cayden with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Caie opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a playable browser game titled “Caie,” an original 2D circus ringmaster arcade game. Use a Three.js orthographic camera and a full-screen canvas with a fixed 18-by-12 world, keeping the action visible on both desktop and mobile. The visual style is bold, flat, colorful circus graphics: a dark purple background covered by tall angled vertical curtain stripes in deep violet, magenta, hot pink, and golden yellow; a softly transparent pale-yellow elliptical spotlight floor near the bottom; small alternating marquee bulbs across the upper area; and several floating cyan and yellow show hoops. Add subtle animation to the bulbs, hoops, player, tickets, and hazards. The player character is Caie, an original smiling ringmaster centered initially near the lower middle of the stage. Build Caie from simple 2D geometric shapes: a red coat, gold vest, red sleeves, pale circular face, two dark eyes with white highlights, an oversized white toothy grin, and a dark purple top hat with a gold band and small cyan star. Caie should gently bob/scale and tilt while moving. Control Caie in four directions with normalized WASD or arrow-key input; also provide a touch-friendly on-screen D-pad with up, left, down, and right buttons. Use smooth acceleration/deceleration rather than instant movement, and clamp Caie within the stage bounds. The core loop is: press “Start the Show,” then move around the stage collecting golden tickets before the 45-second curtain call. Spawn eight golden ticket objects around the play area. Each ticket is a small gold rectangular ticket with semicircular dark notches on both sides and a pink vertical stripe. Tickets gently rotate/rock and pulse. When Caie overlaps a ticket, increase the score by 1, play a short bright synth pickup sound, and immediately relocate that ticket to another random valid location so there are always eight active collectibles. Add four moving hazards called glitch pies. Each pie is made from a cyan circular tin, a white cream center, a pink glitch dot, and a tilted yellow glitch slash. Place them initially around the edges and lower/upper parts of the stage, each with its own diagonal velocity. Move them continuously, rotate them, and bounce them off the stage boundaries. If a pie overlaps Caie, subtract 2 tickets without allowing the score below zero, play a short bump sound, briefly prevent repeated hits for about 1.1 seconds, and nudge Caie away from the pie. Show a status message during the cooldown such as “Glitch pie hit! Caie loses 2 tickets — dodge the chaos.” The game ends when the timer reaches zero. Stop movement/gameplay, preserve and update a persistent best score using local storage, and show a centered curtain-call overlay stating Caie’s score and best show, with a “Run It Again” button. The start overlay should be a large centered rounded card with a pale yellow-to-pink gradient, cream border, dark purple text, title “CAIE,” descriptive copy explaining that this is an original 2D circus host game, and a dark purple pill-shaped “Start the Show” button. Pressing Enter or Space should also start or restart whenever the game is not active. Add a fixed HUD above the canvas. At top left, use a dark translucent rounded panel with a gold border displaying “Tickets: [score]” and “Encore: [whole-number seconds]s.” At top right, use a matching panel for rotating status text: before play, show the best score and invitation to start; during play, cycle through original showrunner captions about Caie and the circus groove; on game over, show the final score and best score. At the bottom left, display “Move: WASD / Arrow Keys” and “Mobile: tap the pad.” At bottom right, place the translucent rounded four-button D-pad. Ensure HUD and controls remain responsive, with the D-pad somewhat faded on larger screens but easy to use on mobile. Include original circus-style synth audio using Tone.js if available: start audio after user interaction, play an original upbeat loop named “Showrunner Shuffle” at roughly 138 BPM with a short synth melody and bass pattern, plus distinct synth effects for ticket pickups and pie collisions. Do not use copyrighted character art, songs, names, voices, or lyrics. Keep the game self-contained with no build step, and expose game state functions equivalent to window.getGameState() and window.setGameState(patch) for score, timer, playing/game-over state, player position/velocity, tickets, and hazards.
