Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to outputs I already generated on the Free plan?

Free plan outputs remain under the original terms. Upgrading to Pro gives you full rights to new generations only. If you need rights to an older Free output for a launch, reach out and we can review options case by case.

Can I use Pro generations in a shipped game?

Yes. Pro lets you use new generations in commercial game releases, trailers, and paid downloads. That includes launches on storefronts like Steam, itch.io, and app stores.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel through the billing portal and you'll keep Pro benefits until the end of your billing period. After that, new generations revert to Free plan terms.

How do royalties work on the Free plan?

If Cinevva monetizes your free-plan output (streaming, albums, sync licenses), you receive 20% of net receipts. Payouts happen monthly once you hit the $50 threshold. Full royalty terms

What counts as commercial use?

Anything that generates revenue: monetized videos, ad-supported streams, sold games, paid downloads, client delivery, sync licensing, and similar use. Personal projects and non-monetized sharing are fine on Free.
