Make your own game

Wüstenpanzer was built by tcharms2013 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Wüstenpanzer opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Wüstenpanzer

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable 3D top-down/isometric tank arena game titled “Wüstenpanzer,” with all visible UI text in German. Use an orthographic camera looking down from above at a slight angle; the camera follows the green player tank as it moves around the arena, keeping the tank near the lower/center area of view. Render a broad flat sandy desert floor in warm ochre/tan, with soft shadows, atmospheric distance fog, and a subtle circular pale-yellow arena boundary ring. Scatter a few low-poly desert props around the arena: tall and short green cacti and angular brown rocks/cliff blocks.

The player is a low-poly green tank made from simple geometric parts: a rectangular green hull, dark nearly-black side treads, an octagonal/cylindrical green turret, and a dark rectangular cannon barrel pointing forward. Place the player initially toward the southern/lower part of the arena, facing toward the top of the screen. Add five enemy tanks distributed around the arena, using the same low-poly construction but red/orange hulls and turrets. Enemies should have two hit points each, automatically face/aim at the player, move toward the player when farther than about 6 world units, and periodically fire when within about 15 units. Enemy shells should be orange/red glowing spheres.

The core objective is to destroy all five enemy tanks. Allow the player to drive with WASD or the arrow keys: forward/backward movement and left/right turning, with movement constrained to a square region roughly from -16 to +16 on both world axes. Let the player fire with the spacebar. Player shells are small glowing yellow/gold spheres, travel in the tank’s forward direction, move quickly, and disappear after a short lifetime or on impact. Player firing has a short cooldown (about 0.42 seconds). A player shell hitting an enemy removes one of its two hit points; when its hit points reach zero, remove that enemy. Each enemy shell hit should reduce player health by 8. Start the player at 100 health. There does not need to be sophisticated physical collision between tanks or scenery; preserve the arcade movement and projectile-hit behavior.

Add a fixed overlay HUD. At the top left, show a dark translucent rounded panel labeled “WÜSTENPANZER” in bold white uppercase text. At the top right, show a matching panel with a red heart and the current health plus remaining enemy count, formatted like “❤️ 100 · Gegner 5” (update both values live). Beneath the title on the left show a dark translucent help panel reading “WASD / Pfeile: fahren · Leertaste: feuern”. Along the bottom center show the objective text “Zerstöre alle feindlichen Panzer”. For touch devices, show a translucent circular virtual joystick at bottom left with a smaller yellow/orange thumb control, and a round red button labeled “FEUER” at bottom right; dragging the joystick should control turning and forward/reverse motion, and holding the fire button should continuously fire. Hide these touch controls on wider desktop screens where keyboard controls are used.

When health reaches zero, or all enemies are destroyed, stop gameplay and display a centered dark translucent victory/defeat modal over the scene. Use “Sieg!” and “Alle feindlichen Panzer zerstört.” for victory, or “Verloren!” and “Dein Panzer wurde getroffen.” for defeat, with a prominent gold button labeled “Nochmal spielen” that reloads/restarts the game. Keep the overall presentation clean, minimal, colorful, and low-poly, with warm desert lighting and visible soft shadows. Do not add inventories, levels, powerups, score systems, minimaps, or other mechanics beyond the described arena combat; the existing game only tracks health, enemy count, and an internal hit score.
