Make your own game

Whisper House was built by alain pimpare with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Whisper House opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Whisper House

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a dark third-person 3D survival-horror game titled “Whisper House.” Show an abandoned, enclosed house at night from an over-the-shoulder camera following the player. Use a nearly black blue-gray atmosphere with fog, soft shadows, moonlike directional lighting, and a dim warm reddish point light in the central area. The environment is a simple rectangular floor approximately 22 by 18 units, enclosed by four walls, with interior wall segments forming halls/rooms: a partial wall on the left side, a partial wall on the right side, and a divider across the upper-right/center area. Furnish it sparsely with four dark green-black wardrobe-like hiding objects near the four corners, a wooden bed along the left-middle area, a table in the right-upper room, a shelf, and a crate. Include a muted dark-red rectangular rug near the middle. Keep the visual style stark and low-detail, with dark gray walls and floor, brown wood furniture, deep red accents, and subdued cinematic lighting.

The player is a humanoid character controlled in third person. Start the player near the bottom-center/south side of the house. Support WASD and arrow-key movement, Space to jump, and H to hide when close to a hiding spot; also provide a visible mobile-friendly “Hide” button. Use collision against the house walls and furniture so the player navigates around the rooms rather than walking through them. The player can hide at the four wardrobes or at the bed when within roughly 1.7 world units. When hidden, make the player invisible, stop the enemy’s movement toward them almost completely, and display “You are hidden. Do not move.” Pressing H or the button again leaves hiding; if not close to a hiding spot, show “No hiding spot close enough.”

Add one shadowy humanoid seeker/enemy that begins near the upper-left wardrobe. It should visibly walk toward the player, continuously steering toward the player’s current position through the house. Give it a nearly black/purple-red emissive appearance so it reads as a threatening silhouette. It moves at normal speed when the player is exposed and more slowly while the player is hidden. If the exposed player comes within about 1.15 units of the seeker, end the game as a loss with the message “You were found” and the explanation “A shape stood in the doorway before the lights went out.”

The objective is to survive for 60 seconds. Count down from 01:00 in real time; reaching zero wins, with the overlay title “You survived” and the text “The footsteps fade. Dawn is close.” Stop gameplay when either outcome occurs. Provide a restart/play-again action after the ending.

Overlay HUD: in the top-left, a translucent dark rounded panel labeled “WHISPER HOUSE” in uppercase with the status “Find a dark corner. Stay quiet.” In the top-right, show a translucent panel with the countdown “01:00” and the label “SURVIVE.” At the bottom center show contextual instructions: normally “WASD / arrows to move · Space to jump · H to hide when near a hiding spot”; when near a hiding spot, show “A hiding spot is close — press H or tap Hide.” Put Hide and, after game end, Restart buttons at the lower-right. On the initial screen, cover the dark scene with a centered translucent modal card titled “Whisper House,” describing: “Something is searching the abandoned rooms. Move quietly, find a hiding spot, and survive until the clock reaches zero.” Include a wide muted red “Enter the house” button. Use responsive layout suitable for desktop and mobile, with a nearly black background, light gray text, translucent glass-like panels, rounded borders, and red danger/status styling.
