Nobody has said anything about Watch Now yet. Play it, then tell olivia.luckey what you would add next.
Watch Now was built by olivia.luckey with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix Watch Now opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Rebuild a responsive dark video-discovery web app called “Watch Now.” It is a polished streaming/social feed interface rather than an arcade game. Use a near-black navy background (#080a10), charcoal panels, thin blue-gray borders, white text, muted gray secondary text, and hot pink/coral accents with occasional purple/blue gradients. Use rounded corners throughout, subtle shadows, and modern sans-serif typography with a heavier geometric display face for headings. Layout: make the viewport full height with a fixed top header and a two-column main area. The header is about 72px tall on desktop, has a left brand mark—a rounded pink-to-orange square containing a white play triangle—and the WATCH NOW wordmark. Center/left place a wide rounded search field with a small search glyph and placeholder “Search videos, creators, or topics.” On the right place a notifications-style circular button, a bright pink “Create” button, and a circular gradient avatar with the letter “A.” The main area has a left sidebar about 235px wide with a “MENU” label and icon navigation items Home (active with a pink inset bar), Explore, Subscriptions, then a “YOUR SPACE” label and Library, Watch later, and Liked videos. At the bottom of the sidebar show a bordered promotional card reading “Build your channel,” explanatory copy, and a “Start creating” button. On narrower screens collapse the sidebar to an icon rail, hide its labels/card, hide the wordmark and notification button, and turn Create into a plus button. The scrollable content area has generous padding. At the top show an eyebrow “YOUR DAILY MIX,” large heading “Find something worth watching.” and subtitle “Fresh stories, creator picks, and videos made for you.” On the right show two stat cards: “12.8K Creators live” and “4.2M Videos watched.” Under this, show horizontally scrollable pill topic filters: All, Stories, Animation, Music, Gaming, How to, Shorts. All starts active as a white pill with dark text; inactive pills are dark with borders. Clicking a topic filters the feed to videos in that topic and updates the active pill. Include section headers “Featured creators” with a “See channels” text action, and “Trending on Watch Now” with a “View all” action. Featured creators are horizontal rounded cards with gradient circular initial avatars and name/subtitle text: Tyler Vitelli (YouTube creator), Can2r (YouTube creator), MSA (26.6M subscribers), and Mia Motion (YouTube creator). Clicking one opens a centered channel modal/page overlay. The channel view has a large purple/pink/orange gradient banner, overlapping circular avatar, creator name, handle/subscriber line, “Watch Now channel” badge, Subscribe button, close X, tabs Home/Videos/Shorts/About, stats row, and a Latest videos section with Follow button. Show that creator’s matching videos, or a featured welcome card if none exist. Subscribe and Follow toggle their labels. Below the trending heading, display a responsive card grid: four columns when space allows, shrinking to fewer columns and one column on mobile. Seed it with these eight video cards and metadata: 1) “I Tried Making a Movie in 24 Hours” — Tyler Vitelli — 1.2M views — 2 hours ago — Stories — badge TRENDING — initials TV — duration 20:00 — art1. 2) “The Secret Life of a Tiny Animation” — Mia Motion — 845K views — 5 hours ago — Animation — badge NEW — initials MM — duration 20:00 — art2. 3) “Can2r Reacts to the Wildest Challenge” — Can2r — 2.6M views — 1 day ago — Gaming — badge HOT — initials C2 — duration 20:00 — art3. 4) “MSA: The Story Nobody Saw Coming” — MSA — 4.8M views — 2 days ago — Stories — badge FEATURED — initials MS — duration 20:00 — art4. 5) “How I Make Music on My Phone” — Loop Lab — 321K views — 3 days ago — How to — badge GUIDE — initials LL — duration 20:00 — art2. 6) “One-Minute Game Dev Challenge” — Pixel Forge — 192K views — 4 days ago — Gaming — badge LONG PLAY — initials PF — duration 20:00 — art1. 7) “A Song for the Last Summer Night” — Nova Sound — 778K views — 5 days ago — Music — badge MUSIC — initials NS — duration 20:00 — art3. 8) “The Art of a Perfect Plot Twist” — Story Club — 504K views — 1 week ago — Stories — badge PICK — initials SC — duration 20:00 — art4. Each thumbnail is a 16:9 rounded rectangle with a dark translucent gradient at the bottom, badge in the upper-left, duration in the lower-right, and large centered initials. Recreate the four visible art styles: art1 is a purple/magenta diagonal gradient with a glowing yellow orb near the upper-right; art2 is deep teal/navy with a glowing mint orb upper-left; art3 is coral/purple with a pale yellow glow near the top; art4 is dark navy/teal with a blue glow. Under each thumbnail show a small circular initials creator dot, title, and muted line “creator · views · age.” If search text is entered, filter cards when the query matches title, creator, or topic, case-insensitively. If no cards match, show a centered dashed-border message: “No videos match that search yet. Try another topic.” Clicking any video card opens a centered dark modal overlay with a large “Now watching” eyebrow, title, creator/views line, “Watch Now original” badge, close X, and a 16:9 HTML video player with controls, autoplay, looping playback, and a black background. Use a playable public sample video source or an uploaded local file as the source; set volume to 100%. Under it show green text “🔊 Volume set to 100% — use the speaker control for louder playback.” and a status line initially saying “20-minute long-form mode. The video keeps playing until the full 20:00 runtime is complete.” Track a 20-minute session countdown, update it as “20-minute long-form mode · M:SS remaining,” pause and stop looping at completion, and then show “This 20-minute video is complete.” Clicking the X or the dimmed backdrop closes the modal. The Create button and sidebar Start creating button open a dark rounded “Create a video” modal. Include helper copy about uploading directly into Watch Now, fields for Video title, Creator name, Video file (video/*), Topic select with Stories/Animation/Music/Gaming/How to/Shorts, and Description textarea. Include Cancel and bright “Publish to feed” buttons. Publishing should prepend a new card to the feed using the entered title/creator/topic, “0 views,” “just now,” “20:00,” badge “YOUR VIDEO,” creator initials derived from the creator name, a randomly selected art style, and the selected local file for playback when available (otherwise use the sample source). Clear the form, close the modal, reset the topic to All, and re-render. Make all overlays dim the page, center their content, support backdrop-click dismissal, and provide close controls. Navigation items should visibly toggle the active state when clicked, while the Home feed remains the primary content. Preserve the sleek high-contrast streaming dashboard appearance shown in the reference: dark glassy panels, pink highlights, gradient artwork, compact metadata, and responsive behavior. There is no gameplay reel; reproduce the interface and its functional filtering, searching, creator channels, video playback, and publishing interactions faithfully.
