Make your own game

Velocity Highway was built by Abdullah Omer with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Velocity Highway opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a playable 3D arcade driving game titled “VELOCITY HIGHWAY.” Use a third-person chase camera behind and slightly above a low-poly sports sedan, looking forward down a long straight futuristic highway at night. The player car is centered near the bottom of the screen, colored bright orange/red with a blocky stylized sports-car shape. It should sit on a dark navy road with two visible lanes divided by glowing cyan dashed lane markings, dark raised shoulders, and repeating hot-pink neon edge markers. The road extends far into the distance and is surrounded by a black/navy foggy skyline made of simple tall rectangular buildings with blue-purple emissive shading. Add occasional blue guardrail posts/rails, neon billboard panels, and overhead checkpoint-like frames/banners along the highway for visual depth. Use dramatic cool blue and magenta neon lighting, soft shadows, fog, bloom-like emissive materials, and a clean low-poly/arcade aesthetic.

The core mechanic is continuous forward driving: the car automatically accelerates and the player only steers left and right to avoid traffic. Keyboard controls: A or Left Arrow moves left, D or Right Arrow moves right. Clamp the car’s horizontal position so it stays on the highway, and slightly tilt/roll the car while steering. Holding Space activates Nitro, increasing forward speed to about 1.65 times normal; also provide a touch/mobile Nitro button that works while pressed. The normal displayed speed is 144 KM/H, and the Nitro display should rise proportionally. The player’s distance meter continuously increases in meters as they drive.

Spawn eight total race participants conceptually: the player plus seven AI traffic cars. Render the seven AI cars as smaller low-poly hatchback/sports cars in varied teal/green colors, distributed among four highway positions/lane tracks ahead of the player. They continuously move toward/relative to the camera as the player drives; when a traffic car passes behind the player, recycle it far ahead at a randomized one of the four lane positions so the highway remains continuously populated. If a traffic car overlaps the player within roughly 1.45 horizontal units and 2.5 depth units, trigger a crash. Do not add weapons, drifting, laps, collectibles, or enemies beyond the traffic cars and roadside scenery.

HUD should be fixed over the game view. At top left show the large, bold, widely letter-spaced title “VELOCITY HIGHWAY” with a cyan glow. Beneath it place a translucent dark-blue rounded stats panel with cyan border showing three lines: “SPEED [value] KM/H”, “DISTANCE [value] M”, and “POSITION [place]/8”. Position is calculated from how many traffic cars are currently farther ahead than the player. At top right show a translucent dark panel with a magenta border and the instruction “← A / D → • SPACE = NITRO”. Along the bottom place three large touch controls: a cyan-outlined left button with a left-pointing triangle, a centered magenta-accented button labeled “NITRO,” and a cyan-outlined right button with a right-pointing triangle. These buttons must support pointer/touch press-and-hold input and be usable on mobile; keyboard controls must also work.

On collision, stop gameplay and show a full-screen translucent black overlay with large glowing magenta text “WRECKED,” the subtitle “The highway wins this round.” and a centered “RESTART” button. Restart resets the player to the starting position, resets distance and traffic placements, restores the HUD, and resumes driving. Include responsive resizing and keep the camera smoothly following the player, with slight camera shake on crash. The game should be an actual interactive real-time 3D game, not a slideshow or visual mockup.
