Make your own game

Valerya Gloamfall was built by DimsFR with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Valerya Gloamfall opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Valerya Gloamfall

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a small playable 3D third-person action-RPG prototype titled “Valerya: Gloamfall.” Use a dark fantasy, low-poly/moody presentation: a nearly black-blue night sky/background (#070a12), exponential fog, soft moonlight, violet magical rim lighting, and shadows. The camera should be a perspective third-person camera following the player from behind at roughly 5.8 units away, with the player centered in a compact outdoor arena and the camera able to orbit/aim through the third-person controls.

The playable character is Valerya, a sorceress/wizard represented by an animated humanoid wizard model. Place her initially at the near end of a long, narrow moonlit path (around the world position z=9). Give her a very subtle translucent violet spherical aura around her upper body and a violet glow that follows her. Movement uses WASD or arrow keys; support Shift to run and Space to jump. Clicking/tapping the game view or pressing F casts the equipped spell, “Violet Thread.” The projectile should spawn in front of Valerya at about chest/head height, travel in the direction the camera is facing (flattened to the horizontal plane), and appear as a small bright pale-lavender orb. Give each projectile fast forward motion, a short lifetime, and a brief translucent purple screen flash when cast. There is no mana/ammo HUD and no need to invent additional abilities.

Build the environment as a simple dark clearing: a large flat circular charcoal ground plane, with a long 4-unit-wide darker gray-purple rectangular path extending through the scene. Scatter about ten stylized dead trees around both sides of the path: each has a dark thick low-poly trunk and three angular bare branches. Add three tall, simple fallen/tilted monolith stones along the route, colored muted slate gray-purple. Use directional blue-white moonlight, low ambient hemisphere lighting, fog, and a localized purple point light around the player to create the gloomy violet atmosphere.

Place exactly three hostile Gloam Wraiths in the arena, initially around (-2,-2), (2,-4), and (0,-10). Each is a small floating-looking low-poly dark violet faceted body (icosahedron-like), with a dim purple emissive tint and one bright pink/magenta eye on its front. Wraiths should slowly pursue Valerya across the ground, rotate to face her, and have 2 hit points. Each successful Violet Thread hit removes one hit point and visibly shrinks the enemy slightly; when its hit points reach zero, hide/remove it. Wraiths do not need attack animations or damage systems because the prototype mechanics only show pursuit and projectile combat.

Overlay a minimal fixed HUD on top of the canvas. At top-left show “GLOAMFALL // A DARK FANTASY SLICE” in small uppercase, widely letter-spaced warm beige serif text. Beneath it show “VIOLET THREAD — READY” in uppercase violet text. At bottom-left show “VALERYA” in larger warm off-white serif text. At bottom-right show the controls in small muted gray system text: “WASD / ARROWS move · SHIFT run · SPACE jump” and below “Click or tap to cast Violet Thread.” On initial load, show a centered outlined violet rectangular start panel/button reading “ENTER THE GLOAM,” with the subtitle “an original third-person action RPG prototype.” Clicking it hides the panel and begins/locks the pointer for third-person play. Keep the screen uncluttered: no health bars, score, inventory, minimap, dialogue, or extra menus. Make the overall visual style sparse, cinematic, dark, and purple-accented, matching the provided screenshot and implementation.
