Make your own game

Turbo Drift was built by emanuel.taylorr4321 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix Turbo Drift opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for Turbo Drift

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable 3D endless highway driving game titled “Turbo Drift,” using a third-person chase camera behind and slightly above the player car. The road should extend toward the horizon with three lanes, dark textured asphalt, pale dashed lane dividers, solid edge lines, broad darker shoulders, concrete side barriers with reflectors, fences, tall streetlight poles with warm lamps, occasional overhead gantries and green signs, and a dense nighttime city skyline of dark block buildings with scattered warm and cool illuminated windows. Use atmospheric fog, a dark blue-black sky, soft shadows, realistic materials, and grounded automotive styling rather than a bright arcade aesthetic. The reference view is portrait-friendly: the player car fills the lower center foreground while the road and city recede into the distance.

The core loop is an endless forward run. The player car is fixed around the front/lower part of the view and continuously travels forward; simulate motion by scrolling lane markers, barriers, lamps, and traffic toward the camera. The goal is to survive as long as possible, dodge traffic, accumulate score from distance traveled, and receive an additional score bonus whenever a traffic car is successfully passed. Traffic spawns ahead in the three lanes, increasingly densely over time, sometimes in batches of two or three. Traffic vehicles move at varied relative speeds and include compact cars, sedans, widebody coupes, performance SUVs, and exotic cars, with distinct grounded paint colors and silhouettes. Detect collisions using car-sized 2D/3D hitboxes; a collision ends the run with a “Crashed” result.

Build a detailed modular car model from simple 3D meshes: metallic body, dark glass cabin, roof/trim, hood and nose, grille, lights, mirrors, wheels with rims, and profile-specific details. Provide four selectable player rides in a garage: Sedan (blue-gray commuter, max speed 62, blue underglow), Muscle (red widebody coupe with spoiler, max speed 76, red underglow), Track SUV (dark tall SUV, max speed 88, purple underglow), and Exotic (low gold/olive wedge supercar with spoiler, max speed 102, gold underglow). Each class has its own base speed, acceleration/boost power, steering response, dimensions, and appearance. Preserve the selected ride in browser local storage. The run currently initializes with the Sedan, and score-based progression can upgrade the ride during play: at score thresholds, swap to the next vehicle class while preserving its position/rotation; each successive class improves acceleration, top speed, and steering. Also save the local best score in browser storage.

Controls: on desktop, hold A/D or Left/Right Arrow to steer left and right; hold W or Up Arrow to boost/accelerate; hold S or Down Arrow to brake/decelerate. Clamp lateral movement to the road’s playable width and visibly bank/yaw the car while steering, with subtle suspension/camera bob. On touch devices, provide large fixed bottom controls: left and right arrow buttons on the lower left, and Brake and Boost buttons on the lower right. Buttons should support press-and-hold pointer input and be touch friendly.

Add an aggressive-driving heat system. Heat rises when Boost is held and when speed is high, and cools when braking or driving less aggressively. Show heat in the HUD from 0 to 100. When heat reaches 100, spawn a police interceptor behind the player: a white-and-dark sedan with side stripes, blue underglow, roof light bar, alternating red/blue flashing lights, and a persistent chase. The police car follows the player’s lateral position from behind and closes the gap; high speed and continued boosting help escape, while braking makes the police close faster. If the police reaches the player closely, end the run with “Busted.”

Overlay a clean dark translucent HUD over the 3D scene. Across the top, show Score, Speed, Limit, Heat, Ride, and Best. Before the first run, show a centered translucent panel titled “Turbo Drift,” the text “Dodge traffic. Stay alive. Beat your best score.”, desktop and phone control instructions, a Garage section with four selectable ride cards displaying each class and top speed, a short description of the selected car, and a “Start Run” button. Keep the road and parked player car visible behind this panel, with slow idle road scrolling and slight car rotation. After crashing or being busted, show a centered game-over panel with the result title, “Final score,” a “Run Again” button, and a “Garage” button. Use rounded dark glass panels, subtle borders/shadows, white text, and blue/red accent styling for Boost and Brake. Ensure responsive layout for desktop and narrow mobile screens, with safe-area-aware bottom controls and garage cards that collapse to one column on small screens.
