Make your own game

The Squdios was built by Keganred3 with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix The Squdios opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for The Squdios

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a browser-playable third-person 3D arena fighter titled “The Squdios,” using a stylized low-poly aesthetic. Start on a dark navy full-screen menu with a rounded translucent dark panel in the upper-left. Show the title “The Squdios,” the subtitle “A stylized 3D poly fighter starring your original alien squid character. Type A is playable; Type B is an enemy.”, two large rounded selection buttons labeled “Type A · Classic” (mint green) and “Type A · Utility” (lavender), and the note “Both variants keep the same three tentacles and one conjoined eye with two pupils. Gender: none.”

When either Type A button is selected, hide the menu and enter a circular arena viewed with a perspective third-person camera following the player. Use a dark navy background with atmospheric fog, a broad dark blue-gray cylindrical floor/platform, and a glowing golden circular torus ring around the arena. Light the scene with cool sky/hemisphere lighting, a strong white directional key light with shadows, and a subtle pink rim light. The player starts near the front of the arena and three Type B enemies spawn at positions around the back/left/right: approximately (-4,-3), (4,-4), and (0,-7) in arena coordinates.

Build all characters from simple faceted 3D meshes. The Squido body is a rounded sphere slightly stretched vertically, with three short thick capsule-like tentacles extending downward in a row (left, center, right), and a small orange cone-like tip on top. The face has one large conjoined white eye, flattened and protruding toward the camera, with two small dark pupils side by side. The Classic Type A is cyan/turquoise with darker teal tentacles and an orange top tip. The Utility Type A is green with darker green tentacles, the same three tentacles and conjoined two-pupil eye, plus a yellow torus belt around its lower body and a small red rectangular belt emblem. Type B enemies are purple/violet with darker purple tentacles, an orange top tip, and the same eye construction; do not give enemies the utility belt.

Provide third-person movement through WASD or arrow keys, including jumping with Space, with responsive movement speed around 4.2 and gravity. Also support a large circular “ATTACK” touch/button control at the lower-right and clicking/tapping it, plus Space as an attack shortcut. On attack, find the nearest living enemy and, only if it is within approximately 2.7 world units, deal 28 damage, add 10 score, briefly flash the enemy, and slightly rotate it. Each enemy starts with 55 health, so two successful attacks defeat one. When defeated, remove it from the arena and add 50 more score.

Enemies continuously pursue the player. If farther than about 1.5 units, move toward the player at roughly 1.05 units per second and face their travel direction. If close, attack automatically on a roughly 1.1-second cooldown, dealing 8 damage to the player. The player starts with 100 health. End active play when health reaches zero and change the hint text to “Squido was defeated — tap Restart to try again”; retain the arena state rather than adding a separate invented ending scene. Include a Restart button that reloads/resets the game to the initial selection menu.

During the fight, show a fixed HUD panel in the upper-left with “Squido,” a small badge reading either “CLASSIC” or “UTILITY,” a Health label and horizontal pink/red health bar, a status line such as “Type B enemies: 3 · Score: 0,” and a dark Restart button. In the upper-right show the subdued instruction text “WASD / arrows to move · Space to jump · click or tap ATTACK.” Keep the large pink/red circular ATTACK button visible at bottom-right. Use responsive full-window rendering, soft translucent panels, rounded controls, white bold system typography, and no gendered character presentation or extra mechanics beyond those specified.
