Make your own game

The Smile Park was built by wally w with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.

Remix The Smile Park opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.

Read the build brief for The Smile Park

Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.

Create a first-person 3D horror exploration game titled “The Smile Park,” Chapter 1: After Closing. Use a dark, atmospheric Three.js-style presentation with a nearly black blue-gray night sky/background, exponential fog, soft moonlight, warm orange/red practical lights, shadows, and a fixed centered white crosshair. The player starts at the south/gate end of a small enclosed abandoned amusement park, facing north toward an old funhouse. The environment is a compact rectangular park bounded by low rust-colored walls/fences: east and west side walls, a north wall, and a southern fence. Build a dark ground plane with a central worn gray-brown path running from the gate to a wider plaza in front of the funhouse. At the north end, place a broad dark wooden funhouse facade with faded alternating red and pale vertical stripes, a red sign area, and a large locked modeled door. Include sparse dead wooden trees with angular branches, red awnings on thin poles at either side of the plaza, black lamp posts with small warm amber bulbs along both sides of the path, two simple benches, and a dark ticket booth with a black ticket window. Add an old coffin prop near the right side of the plaza. Keep the art low-poly/simple, rusty, worn, and ominous rather than colorful or polished.

Begin with a full-screen chapter overlay: dark translucent radial-gradient background and centered dark card with a thin warm border/shadow. Show “The Smile Park,” “Chapter 1 · After Closing,” the story text “The gates were supposed to be sealed seven years ago. Tonight, the lights came back on. Find the park key, reach the old funhouse, and do not follow the music.” and an “Enter the park” button. When started, hide the overlay and display the message “The gate locks behind you.”

The core objective chain must be exactly: restore power at the red fuse box, find the park key, unlock the funhouse door, and complete the chapter. Place a red/rust fuse box on the left side near the north plaza, with a visible switch. The player uses Interact (E or the on-screen Interact button) while close to it to turn power on: move the switch, brighten the park’s warm glow, change the door warning light from dark red to glowing amber, and show “The park wakes up. Something laughs inside the funhouse.” Then place a small brass/gold key on a wooden pedestal near the right side of the plaza. Once power is on, the objective changes to finding the key; interacting close to it makes the key disappear, makes the pedestal glow, and shows “A brass key. The teeth are warm.” Finally, while carrying the key, interacting near the funhouse door opens/rotates the door and shows “The door opens into darkness. Chapter 1 complete.” Mark the objective as “Chapter complete” and stop the threat/chase.

After power is restored but before the key is collected, occasionally trigger a horror chase. Make a simple humanoid grinning/“smile” monster appear near the funhouse and move directly toward the player at a slow steady speed, with a creepy idle/run presentation if available. Show “RUN. The smile is behind you.” and change the objective to reaching the funhouse door. If the monster gets very close, reset the player to the south gate and hide the monster, showing “The smile fades. You are back at the gate.” The chase should not happen after the chapter is complete.

Use first-person movement with WASD/arrow movement, mouse/click look, Shift to run, Space to jump, and mobile-friendly on-screen Flash and Interact buttons. Flash toggles a bright warm-white forward spotlight attached to the camera; the button changes between “Flash” and “Light on.” Interact is context-sensitive and otherwise displays “Nothing here answers you.” Include looping subdued ominous audio after user input/start if supported. The HUD should remain over the game: top-left dark translucent bordered tag reading “THE SMILE PARK · CHAPTER 1” with the chapter accent in warm peach, top-right bordered tag showing the current objective, centered crosshair, and temporary bottom-center narrative messages in a translucent dark box with a thin orange left border. Put the Flash and Interact controls in outlined dark buttons at the bottom-right; on desktop show a small bottom-left hint: “WASD / arrows to move · Shift to run · Space to jump · click to look.” Make it responsive for mobile with compact top HUD and hide the hint on small screens. Overall mood: abandoned nighttime carnival, restrained cinematic horror, very dark silhouettes with only the moon, lamps, red facade glow, fuse box, and flashlight revealing details.
