The Pick Me in Olympus was built by Helena Knezeak with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix The Pick Me in Olympus opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a browser-based 3D third-person narrative exploration game titled “The Pick Me in Olympus.” Use Three.js ES modules and a polished stylized low-poly/mythic theatre presentation. The player controls Hermes on a circular marble-and-cloud platform high above the clouds. Use a bright pale-blue sky background with matching fog, warm sunlight and soft shadows, cream marble ground, a gold ring around the platform, a raised white dais at the rear, distant stacked temple silhouettes, many white clouds, and a ring of about fourteen marble columns around the platform perimeter. Use an over-the-shoulder elevated camera: the camera follows behind and above Hermes, looking toward him and the space ahead, and smoothly follows as he moves. Hermes should be a compact stylized humanoid assembled from simple 3D primitives: white tunic/robe with dark red sash trim, red cape, brown center-parted hair, metallic brown winged helmet with a dark visor concealing his eyes, small white temple wings, golden feather-like back wings, and brown winged sandals. Give every character a floating, outlined name label above their head. Populate the courtyard with stationary NPCs arranged around the platform: Tiresias (mortal prophet, at front-left), Zeus on the rear dais, Poseidon and Hades nearby, Apollo and Helios on the right, Aeolus (they/them), Athena, Hera, Hephaestus, Ares, Aphrodite, Odysseus, Penelope, Telemachus, Circe, and Calypso. Give them simple colorful low-poly robes and distinctive palette accents based on their identities. Emily is initially hidden off the rear edge; when she enters she is a pink-accented mortal with a rotating bright pink attention ring. Core loop: move Hermes freely with WASD or arrow keys, constrained to the circular platform. On mobile, provide a four-button on-screen d-pad. When Hermes is within interaction range of the nearest visible NPC, show “Talk to [name] — press E or tap Talk”; E or a gold Talk button opens a dialogue card. Movement pauses while dialogue or event overlays are open. Dialogue cards show the speaker name, role/meta text, narrative dialogue, relationship tone, several choice buttons, and a text field where the player can type a custom Hermes line and submit it with Say it or Enter. Include Escape and Close controls. Build the narrative in four acts. Start in Act I, “A Relaxed Day Above the Clouds,” with objective text explaining that the player can chat around Olympus and form alliances or make enemies. Each Act I conversation offers: Form an alliance (relationship +1 and small tension increase), Antagonize them (relationship -1 and larger tension increase), Say: Holy Moly (small tension increase and a special positive response from Tiresias), and Start Act II when ready. Include bespoke mythic, lightly comedic dialogue for the cast: Tiresias is Hermes’ loving support, Zeus is the lounging king, Poseidon dislikes cleanup, Hades is suspicious of relaxation, Apollo tunes a lyre, Helios senses a spotlight-seeker, Aeolus comments on wind and uses they/them, Athena discusses strategy, Hera discusses etiquette, Hephaestus offers practical solutions, Ares wants respectful yelling, Aphrodite notices Hermes and Tiresias’ romantic tension, and the mortal/witch/nymph characters comment on surviving drama. Track relationship scores, alliance count, antagonized count, tension, and a custom-line log. Starting Act II is a deliberate choice from the Act I dialogue. Make Emily become visible at the rear of the courtyard and play a glass-shattering sound effect. Show a full-screen event card with an Act II kicker, a dramatic title such as “Emily walks in,” and text explaining that she enters as if she invented sunlight and the courtyard winces. The Act II objective says Emily is here and that talking, deflecting, gossiping, or antagonizing causes tension. The HUD should display “Act II — The Mortal Demands Attention.” Against Emily, offer: Politely deflect her (tension +14 and patience loss), Call out the pick-me act (tension +22 and more patience loss), and Ask if she’d like power (tension +26 and patience loss, using the line “Wouldn’t you like the taste of the power? Shame it comes with responsibility.”). Against other NPCs, offer Ask for backup (relationship +1), Snap at them too (relationship -1 and patience loss), and Tell them to watch Emily. All Act II options should increase tension. Also allow a Force Act III snap option for testing/advancing the narrative. Show a prominent top HUD throughout: left translucent purple gradient title panel with “The Pick Me in Olympus” and current act subtitle; center/right translucent meter panel labeled “Hermes’ patience,” with a numeric percentage and a horizontal green-to-yellow-to-red gradient bar; and a red How to play button. At bottom-left show a translucent Objective panel with a Cinzel-style heading. At bottom-center show a rounded interaction hint. Use dark navy/purple translucent glassmorphism panels, thin light borders, soft shadows, cream/gold typography, and red, purple, and gold rounded buttons. The initial view should visibly have the title/HUD, the objective, a centered “Walk near someone to talk.” hint, and mobile controls with a dark four-way d-pad bottom-left and a gold Talk button bottom-right. When Act II tension reaches at least 78, automatically trigger Act III. Play the glass-shatter sound again, set patience to zero, and show an event overlay titled “Holy Moly, Hermes snaps.” The event text must state that Emily says one more attention-seeking thing, Hermes goes still and his golden wings flare; Apollo and Helios exchange concerned looks; Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades freeze; Ares is genuinely scared; and Tiresias grabs Hermes’ arm to hold him back. Include Hermes’ angry line: “Bloody hell, Emily. Wouldn’t you like the taste of the power of shutting up for one damn second?” Mark those frozen/concerned states visually through stopped or subtly reacting NPCs and move Tiresias toward Hermes. The Continue button advances to Act IV. Act IV is “What Anger Leaves Behind.” Show an event card explaining that Emily is quiet but Hermes’ anger contains sorrow, then open a branching dialogue choice with three paths: Talk with Tiresias, Vent to Zeus, or Brood alone. The Tiresias path has him stand close and support Hermes, after which Hermes’ wings lower and he is still angry but not alone. The Zeus path has Zeus listen without thunder while Hermes vents, with Zeus reminding him that carrying messages does not mean carrying every wound silently. The Brood path sends Hermes away in narrative text with cape dragging and wings folded, saying the silence gives him space to decide on apology, boundary, or revenge. Track flags for Tiresias holding Hermes back, Zeus venting, and brooding, and allow another Act IV path to be chosen. Implement custom-line classification: lines containing supportive words such as help, trust, please, love, together, sorry, or care count as alliance/support; lines containing shut, annoy, idiot, hate, no one cares, damn, hell, or bloody count as antagonistic; other lines are measured. Custom lines aimed at Emily increase tension and reduce patience, while lines aimed at others alter their relationship and add smaller tension. Automatically trigger Act III after the threshold following a short response delay. Include a How to play modal explaining WASD/arrow movement, d-pad movement, walking near characters, E/Talk, relationship choices, and that Emily appears only when Act II is started. Expose getGameState and setGameState-style functions containing act, patience, tension, snap state, Emily entry, nearest character, player transform, relationships, flags, and custom dialogue log.
