The Other Side was built by Kashif Kashif with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix The Other Side opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a dark first-person 3D psychological-horror exploration game titled “THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE · CHAPTER 01.” Begin with a full-screen atmospheric start overlay: near-black blue-black background, subtle vignette, centered bordered card, large widely tracked cream serif title “THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE,” the subtitle “You wake in a home you know — only the memories are facing the wrong way.” and a bordered button labeled “ENTER THE REVERSED HOUSE.” Behind/around the overlay, the game HUD is faintly visible. After starting, place the player in a familiar but subtly impossible, elongated reversed house. Use a first-person perspective with mouse look and WASD/arrow movement; support jumping with Space. The player begins near the south end of a long rectangular interior at approximately the center of the room, facing toward the far end. The environment is built from a dark blackened floor, very dark charcoal walls, muted brown trim, ceiling beams spaced along the length, and thin floor inlay lines. The room is approximately 18 units wide and 22 units long, enclosed by side walls and end walls, with partial corridor/threshold wall sections that create a house-like layout. Use atmospheric fog, heavy darkness, a strong vignette, soft shadows, and restrained cinematic lighting: cool moonlike directional light, dim blue fill near the far end, and a warm flickering candle point light near the center. Keep the palette nearly black with desaturated gray, brown, cream, and faint red accents. Populate the house with visible graveyard-like 3D props: an impossible ornate/old large door at the north/far end, two old coffins positioned symmetrically toward the left and right sides of the room, and candle clusters beside them. The door is decorative at first. Place three small glowing warm cream memory orbs, each hovering above a tiny black pedestal and each usable only once. Their locations are: one by the left coffin, one by the right coffin, and one farther down the room near the center/right-facing path at the south/middle area. The player must approach an orb and press E when within interaction range. Show a subtle bottom-center bordered prompt reading “E · RECOVER MEMORY” while near an uncollected orb. Recovering an orb increments the HUD counter and opens a centered dark translucent note panel with a thin muted cream border, serif heading, and readable narrative text; automatically fade the panel after several seconds. The three memories are exactly: 1. Heading “THE DREAM”; text “A note in your handwriting: “In this world, the bills paid themselves. The cost was that nobody remembered why.”” 2. Heading “THE FAMILY”; text “A second note: “They gave you everything you wanted. They stopped needing you.”” 3. Heading “THE CHOICE”; text “A final note: “When the door opens, choose the life that hurts honestly.”” Hide each orb after collection and prevent it from being collected again. At the top left, keep a small tracked serif HUD label: “THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE · CHAPTER 01.” At the top right, display “MEMORIES RECOVERED 0 / 3” with the number updating to 1, 2, and 3, and below it initially display “THE HOUSE IS LISTENING.” Once all three memories are recovered, change that status to “THE DOOR REMEMBERS YOU” and briefly show a centered atmospheric message near the upper-middle area: “THE DOOR HAS OPENED SOMEWHERE BEHIND YOU.” The player can then walk toward the far/north end; when reaching the door area, trigger the ending. Before that, the first time the player crosses into the far corridor (around the north half of the room), briefly display “THE ROOM CHANGED WHEN YOU LOOKED AWAY,” with only a barely perceptible environmental rotation/alteration rather than a dramatic transformation. When all three memories are collected and the player reaches the far door, show a final centered note panel titled “A DOOR TO THE OTHER SIDE” with this text: “The version of you on the other side chose comfort. You choose the weight of being real. Chapter one ends here — but the house has more rooms.” End the chapter there. Do not add combat, enemies, inventory, health, weapons, puzzles beyond collecting the three orbs, or extra rooms. Maintain the slow, sparse, literary horror mood, dark serif typography, restrained transitions, and unobtrusive HUD throughout.”
