The Observer Effect was built by Nihad with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix The Observer Effect opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Create a minimalist first-person 3D puzzle escape game titled “The Observer Effect.” The player starts inside a dark enclosed rectangular chamber, approximately 30 units wide, 40 units deep, and 10 units high, with nearly black-blue surroundings, charcoal geometric walls/floor/ceiling, fog, and sparse cool gray lighting. Use a fixed first-person camera with mouse look, a centered thin mint-green crosshair, and WASD movement. The chamber is viewed from the starting end looking down its length. A dark blue translucent river runs all the way across the room from left to right at the midpoint, about 6 units wide, visually animated with multiple short horizontal gray-blue wave strips flowing sideways. Initially the river is impassable because of an invisible collision barrier. Place a large gray boulder on the near-left shore at approximately (-10, 2, -10), and a small handheld observer lens on the near-right shore at approximately (9.5, 0.85, -11.5). Model the lens as a small silver torus/ring with a translucent pale-blue glass center. On the far side of the river, place a red rectangular exit button on the back wall/ground-side area at approximately (0, 1.15, 17.8). The objective is to escape by manipulating physical properties through the lens: first walk to and look directly at the lens, press E to pick it up. When equipped, show a small lens model held in the lower-right of the first-person view and update the HUD to “Observer Lens: Equipped.” While holding the lens, right-click a visible object under the crosshair to extract its property, only when it is close enough (roughly 6 units); left-click a visible object to apply the currently extracted property, also at close range. Right-clicking the animated river extracts “Time Dilation,” sets the river into a slowed-flow state, changes its color slightly, and displays a temporary message “Time Dilation extracted — river flow slows.” The wave strips should visibly move much more slowly after this extraction, but the river must remain impassable. Right-clicking the boulder extracts “Solidity,” changes its gray appearance slightly, and displays “Solidity extracted from the boulder.” Then aim at the river and left-click to apply Solidity. This removes the invisible river barrier, creates a flat gray-blue frozen walkable bridge/path over the river, makes the water more opaque and pale gray-blue, hides/stops all wave strips, displays “Solidity applied. The water has frozen into a walkable path.” and clears the held property. The player can then walk across the frozen river to the far side and aim at the red exit button within about 3.5 units, pressing E to interact. If the water is solid, show a centered dark translucent completion panel with a thin muted green border, the title “OBSERVATION COMPLETE,” explanatory text “The river path solidifies. The chamber exit unlocks.” and a “RESTART CHAMBER” button that reloads the game. Also show the temporary message “You have escaped the chamber.” Use a restrained monochrome/teal sci-fi aesthetic: almost black background (#0a0a0f), charcoal floor and walls, muted blue-black water, gray-blue frozen bridge, pale mint HUD text, and subtle fog. Keep geometry sparse and blocky with no decorative scenery beyond the room, river/waves, boulder, lens, and exit button. Add a minimal HUD fixed at the upper-left inside a translucent black rectangle with a thin dark-green border. It must initially read “Observer Lens: None” in pale mint and show these exact control instructions beneath it: “WASD: Move | Mouse: Look | E: Pick up / Interact” and “Right Click: Extract | Left Click: Apply.” Show short cyan/mint status messages near the bottom center that fade out after a few seconds. Add a very subtle low electronic drone whose pitch/volume changes by state: normal chamber, lens equipped, slowed river/property, and solid frozen water. Do not add enemies, combat, inventory, scores, lives, or other puzzle items; the complete game is this single-room property-transfer puzzle and exit sequence.
