THE MEASUREMENT VAULT was built by Clark Rive with the Cinevva game creator: describe the game you want in chat, watch it get built, and play it in your browser minutes later.
Remix THE MEASUREMENT VAULT opens the real game in the creator and forks its actual files, chat and design doc, so you start from the code rather than from a description.
Cinevva's analyzer read this game's design doc and its source, then wrote the brief below. "Make your own" hands it to the game creator as your opening message, so you start from a real spec rather than a one-line idea.
Recreate a first-person 3D educational escape-room game titled THE MEASUREMENT VAULT. Begin with a full-screen black intro screen: large centered gold serif title “THE MEASUREMENT VAULT,” gray subtitle “Every measurement matters. Every mistake costs time. Escape through mathematics.”, a gold outlined ENTER button, and a small typewriter-style engraved line reading “MEASUREMENT IS THE LANGUAGE OF ENGINEERING.” On starting, fade into a dark abandoned concrete bunker called the Arrival Hall. Use a Three.js-style first-person perspective with mouse-look/pointer-lock and keyboard movement (WASD, with the underlying FPS controller also supporting jumping); mobile should have a circular USE button when an object is targeted. The player starts near the south side of a sealed rectangular room, around 12m wide, 8m deep, 4m high. Build concrete floor, dark concrete walls and ceiling, fog, shadows, a cool dim ambient light, three flickering colored emergency lights (red on the west side, blue on the east, orange toward the north), and a camera-mounted warm flashlight cone. Include drifting dust motes, occasional floor grime patches, ceiling pipes, a red valve, scattered brown crates and barrels, a small west-side desk with an energy meter, an old chair, and wall posters/blueprints that say FACILITY / MEASUREMENT / PROTOCOL. The visual style is cinematic, low-light industrial sci-fi: charcoal concrete and metal, blue/red/orange emergency illumination, warm gold UI accents. At the north wall, place a large metal vault door with an inscription panel reading “MEASUREMENT IS THE LANGUAGE OF ENGINEERING” and initially “LOCKED.” The player must solve five distinct interactable stations. Interaction is by aiming the center crosshair at a station within about 3.5m and pressing E (or Enter; use the mobile USE button). The crosshair is a small gold plus that turns green when aimed at an interactable, and a gold prompt appears near screen center showing the action and puzzle title. Station 1, on the north-west wall, is a glowing blue Laser Distance Scanner: a rectangular panel with cyan emission, a pulsing red horizontal laser line, and a small blue glow. Opening it presents a modal puzzle card titled “Rectangle Perimeter,” strand “Perimeter of a rectangle,” with a simple rectangle diagram and randomly generated integer width 3–9m and height 2–8m. Ask for the perimeter, using 2 × (width + height), answer in meters. Station 2, at the north-east wall, is a tall broken metal Maintenance Ladder with two rails, several rungs and one clearly missing rung. Its modal is “Square Area,” strand “Area of a square,” with a random side length 3–10m. Ask for side × side and answer in square meters. Station 3, at the south-east side, is a cylindrical blue-gray Coolant Reservoir/Tank with metal bands, lid, and red drain valve. Its modal is “Square Perimeter,” strand “Perimeter of a square,” with a random side 3–10m. Ask for 4 × side and answer in meters. Station 4, on the south-west wall, is a framed glowing dark-blue Wall Blueprint. It should show a grid, room outline, door, label “BLUEPRINT — HALL A,” a scale label, and a highlighted measured segment with a question mark. Its modal is “Rectangle Area,” strand “Area of a rectangle,” with random width 3–10m and height 2–9m. Ask for width × height and answer in square meters. Station 5 is a green-outlined Maintenance Hatch on the center floor, visually composed of a rectangular plate outline joined to a semicircular outline, with a subtle pulsing green beacon. Its modal is “Triangle Perimeter,” strand “Perimeter of a triangle,” with three random side lengths 3–10m. Show a triangle diagram labeled on all three sides; ask for the sum of its three sides and answer in meters. Generate all five numbers at the start of each run so solutions vary, but keep each puzzle available until solved. Each modal must include the title, strand, a diagram, an answer input, SUBMIT, HINT, and CANCEL controls. Accept numeric answers with a small tolerance. Wrong answers increment a mistake count and show feedback distinguishing a bad calculation/unit from a close answer; play a soft zap. Correct answers show green confirmation, play a power-up sound, mark the station solved, and show a short blue ATLAS facility message. Hints are progressive: first give the relevant formula, then substitute the generated numbers, then reveal the answer; count every hint used. After three or more mistakes, occasionally show an ATLAS nudge telling the player to use HINT. Closing a puzzle returns to exploration without moving the player. HUD during exploration: top-right progress list “○ STATION 1” through “○ STATION 5,” changing to green “✓ STATION N” when solved, plus “0/5 restored” style count. Top-left notebook button (📓), which opens a dark brown “Apprentice Notebook” overlay listing all five puzzle titles, strands, and SOLVED/PENDING states; close with N, Escape, or tapping outside. Center crosshair and contextual E prompt. Blue ATLAS dialogue appears near the bottom center for timed narrative messages such as: “Candidate detected. Measurement assessment initiated. Escape impossible without demonstrated competency. Five sectors require restoration.” and instructions to walk to each station and aim/press E. Add subtle procedural footsteps while moving, flickering lights, pulsing scanner laser, and pulsing hatch beacon. When all five puzzles are solved, play an ATLAS message that all sectors are restored and the escape path is activated. Animate the north vault door swinging open over about two seconds, change its inscription from LOCKED to OPEN and its emissive color from red to green, then show a dark overlay win screen: green heading “ESCAPE COMPLETE,” text explaining that all five measurement sectors were restored and the player escaped, statistics for elapsed time, mistakes, and hints used, and a green outlined “RUN AGAIN” button that reloads/restarts the game. Preserve the restrained, readable monospace UI style: dark translucent modal backdrop, blue puzzle-card headings, gold prompts, green success, red error, and soft glowing text.
